I’ve got the same 556 placard from Perroz a few years back. He integrated webbing strips inside of each pocket so it can hold HSP MP2 inserts in there if shock cord is not your thing.
i think, increasingly, as the sandwich board carrier code gets cracked, a feature i'd like to see standardized and implemented is, more than just mesh, some kind of interface on the back face of the plate bag for pontoons, yokes and pads, etc. i'm sure velcro would be a good place to start. the race is gonna be, as factors like overall cost of goods and features, construction details etc become priced into the market and more universal, who can make the carrier that's going to play the best with the box of nylon you've got, or with the gear you've learned to prefer? whatever platebag is the least proprietary and built the best for the known value of a platebag, that's gonna be the star that shoots.
SKD and some other companies tried to do that a number of years ago with vertical Velcro on the inner face of platebags for pontoons or IceVents but that feature doesn’t seem to be all that popular on many modern carriers.
I’ve been eyeballing this exact plate carrier for a good minute now and haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet because I have no idea on what kind of plates fit in them.. I know he makes them in large, do you think the large would solve the issue of medium ESAPI style plates not fitting them? Besides the Hesco M210s, what other plates do you think would fit them? Frankly the world of plates/in-conjunction with plates are really confusing especially purchasing them as a private individual. It’s not as dummy-proof as just having them issued to you. For example I thought M210 special threat plates are standalone, do they need a backer? Or was the soft armor backer there for comfort?
Yeah, I'd love 'em, too, if they were giving me drones, complete logistic and intel data, and every friggin' thing else. Does the USA♥Ukraine, though? I'd say not, since they're setting you up for a 10-year proxy war. Bummer, man. That's the MIC😃
@@mlentsch if I weren’t from the US and had to worry about being in a country at war, I’d rather have supplies and munitions given to me to fight than let a tyrannical entity with a disdain towards my population just roll over us. Wouldn’t you?
@@swerveo7313 Probably, but that's not the point, from our perspective. Why did the war start? Just because Putin's crazy? If that were the case, I'd be all for giving the Ukrainians everything they need to resist. But that's not the case, now, is it?
@@EODFish Lol - this has been in the making for years. How do you think that the US would react to Canada joining with Russia and allowing military bases and missiles on the border? Probably would be a no-go, based on history. The west has had their filthy hands in the Ukraine for various useful reasons for a long time. Putin finally invaded, as we knew he would, and now the MIC has their nice proxy war. What's Ukraine's future? Whatever it is, we'll have caused it. I'm no fan of Putin - he's an arch criminal, but there's often more to the story than you see on the television, EOD Fish. I thought you'd have know that by now. Maybe you got some bad fumes at work, or something....

Shaw concepts is implementing a lot of what you're talking about

Best minimalist plate carrier around. Perroz makes great stuff
Is Perroz Berry Compliant?
Yes
How durable do you think this would be?

Crazy no, but no one made Putin do this. The blame is on him.

Okay. Was just looking up videos about this last night and complaining there wasn't anyone doing a good video on it. What the fuck.
