If I am drafting an all time team to play in the NFL and I have the choice of everybody from every era in their prime Larry Allen without a doubt is number 1 overall caliber. He was dominant from start to finish. He had like 2 bad games. The one against Reggie white which led to him becoming an even bigger monster of the game and against the 49ers in the 94 playoffs when his ankle was in so much pain that he couldn’t move it. YET HE STILL PLAYED. Thats dedication
Such a big guy and a humble dude, ive seen him in one of our cruise and played on my table..always smiling and a very kind guy who always tips us eventhough he looses some time😇
Dude said I Have never been dominated like that in my life so I hit the weight room and became the strongest player in the NFL gave me mad goose bumps🔥 this entire speech was fire
Check out that first game they played m8.. Reggie owned big Larry that game and thats what hes talking about cause after that the real Larry Allen was born
@@manyjj9287 What people forget about that game, is once they moved Larry off of Reggie, and put Erik Williams on him, you never heard from Reggie White, the rest of the game. Big E dominated Reggie White.
It's only 134 comments it should be 50 thousand comments for this man...not as a football player but as a man first and foremost....he has a good heart and real people can see that...I have relatives in watts ...I'm an Oakland native......watts and Compton gets a bad rap but most folks out there are like the bay area..we will give you the shirt off out backs till you cross us...had to defend the negative things I hear about the areas....much love to you and your family big larry....your little bro emeron Jackson..aka..mo milla
Class Act all the way. The GOAT in his position. Not even a close 2nd. His brute strength was unreal to watch. Hearing Jon Randle of the Vikings say he lined up across from Larry and he knew there was nothing he could do to stop Larry. RESPECT.
Cowboy Nation is grieving: NFL, friends, family, a beautiful wife, and sweet children. I pray for your strength and healing as we care so much and feel this loss and your great pain. With love and may peace be with you, from your Dallas Cowboys Biggest fan: Rhonda.🙏🏽🙏🏽💖💖💙💙💙💙
Rest in peace Big Fella! For a man who didn't talk a lot, you sure did touch a lot of people. You know, of all the things I admired about you, your love for your darling wife was chief among them. May God comfort her and your family in these days. Until I see you on the other side my friend... 🙏🙏🙏
Although I hate the Cowboys this guy is one of those players that I have the most respect for. This guy is monster in the trenches. I would avoid him at all times or I will be planted on the ground by him. Lifting 700 pounds and that play to take down a speedy linebacker is no easy feat. If I have to pick a favorite player that ever played for this team it would be this guy. Put some respect on this guy. He’s a once in a generation type player. No one will ever match Larry Allen’s strength, speed, and power! Rest in Peace Legend Larry Allen! -Eagles Fan
Great speech....love his laugh. Said it before in another post and I'll say it again....LA was a bad cat....no question. He's very deceiving.....by that I mean....on the field he looks like he'd tear your head off.....and off the field he seems like a funny, great guy to hang with.
The lift was questionable (if you see the tape he had three people touching the bar) but I'd say he could legit do 600 pounds and that's WILD for someone who is a pro athlete and not just a professional lifter
5:13 -- Jay Novacek (in the cowboy hat): Phenomenal athlete and perhaps the most overlooked cog in the machine that was the Dallas Cowboys dynasty of the 1990's. Terrific tight end never mentioned in Hall of Fame discussions, yet why not? Ask his HOF teammates what they thought of him. From South Dakota, then Nebraska, then Wyoming. Maybe that lack of 'glitz and glamor' cost him the notoriety he deserved, but true football fans know.
So although no member of Dallas's great wall is in the HOF .Big Larry drafted the year after the Cowboys first SB win of the 90's in 93'is in a class by himself and he paved the way for E Smith to become the league's all time leading rusher. He was the best of that group other than Erik Williams who had too many off the field problems to end up in Canton. In fact most of the best line of the 90's had shortened careers because of that off the field drama so congratulations LA for ending up in the hall and thanks for the memories.
The kwahi Leonard laugh hahaha. Sounds like this dude is talking and breathing at the same exact time. Dude truly is a beast. Probably don't got human innards. Seems like a great dude. Happy for him.
Not a Cowboy fan, but possibly the greatest overall player who played O-line in the NFL. Massive, Strong, Powerful, Intelligent, Fast, Hard Work Ethic and Extremely Athletic... plus a humble man. He led by example... Hard to beat! Larry Allen, Anthony Munoz and John Hannah
Larry and Eric Williams were the two corner stone of those championship team. Without having a wall to let your running game going and protecting your Qb. You can’t win championship. The equation was so simple and still it is. Some coaches make things complex and thinks too much. So coaches know and they win the championship and multiple one. God bless Larry Allen where ever you are. Salute
Art Shell & Gene Upshaw greatest tandem together. The Raiders is what it is. Eric Williams & Larry Allen take striking fear. Reggie White, Warren Sapp, Bruce Smith. That's they say we Them Boyz's. Great Wall of Dallas

I don't care who your team is, if you don't like big Larry, you don't like football.

they should name the trophy they give to the strong man award in the NFL every year the 'Larry Allan' Trophy.
Giants fan, would go on the battle field with Larry with honor.
@@adamresare5648 No doubt. That famous play where he ran down that Saints linebacker was unbelievable!

Big teddy bear but in a game he was a bear
more like a legit bear lol

Larry's laugh is awesome and the way his wife looks so embarrassed by the first date story is adorable.

2nd day.. I lost
3rd day.. I finally won.
Never back down from anybody.
Notice how there was no 4th fight... Larry probably put that other guy in a body cast.. Larry, praying that you have a long and happy life..

Unless that anybody is Larry Allen.
Seriously Larry Allen was the Jerry Rice of O-linemen.
Nah he is THE Larry Allen of football
