Give this guy another award just for giving a great speech.
Okay this is one of the best speeches ever…❤️he making me feel like a Steelers fan
I'm a Raiders fan but I get you
As a Steelers fan this made my day Troy is a legend and I’m proud of owning his jersey
Never too late to join us
Steelers have the best fans in the world
As a Christian Greek Orthodox, as a USC fan, and as a big Steelers fan, i can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, im soooooo proud of what this man represents and what he stands for. WHAT A GREAT AND AMAZING HUMAN BEING. Ill say one more thing, the most honest, kind, and best ppl who value family like no other are Samoans. Ive never once heard anyone have a bad word to say about the Samoan ppl and their culture. From my experience aswell, Samoans truly are one of the best, if not the best ppl in the world. God bless u Troy and your entire family ✝️
Once again, I'm a Raven...
I thoroughly respect this addition to the Hall..
Polamalu was a whole problem twice a season...
Congrats Troy
As a steelers fan, I feel the same way about Ed Reed. Two players so great that they can transcend a rivalry and earn the other fans respect.
Well deserved. One of my favorite safeties of all time. - Ravens fan
Thats what's special about the steelers/ravens rivalry. We all grew up idolizing two safeties. Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed. Regardless of what side you're on you like them
There’s no better rivalry in the NFL than the one between the Ravens and Steelers.
@@AnonyMous-gs2gw 💯💯💯💯
Same. Reed is #1 though😉
@@AndeezyFishing They're different positions. Reed #1 FS. Troy #1 SS
Using the hit stick with him in madden was a fumble waiting to happen 😂.
@Versatile Wolf you never played madden???
@@datsapaddlin4228 Him and ATL Vick was walking cheat codes in Madden lol
@@usp3p12 I use to love knocking people’s helmets off 😂. They need to bring that back 😅.

Once Troy lined up in the C Gap he secured his spot into the Hall of Fame
It was a 100 percenter!

Jesus take the wheel tingz
He ruined a life that day…
When his daddy hit mama's G gap he secured his spot
FULL DESERVED!!!! I've been a fan of Troy since he was at USC. Congrats, bro!
FIght On! ✌
✌ always will be a Trojan
✌ always will be a Trojan
I’m so proud of my nephew.
Thank you troy. You made me a Steelers fan, we share the same birthday and as soon as I found that out, I became the biggest Yinzer in Tampa
I love this man. Epitome of class. I can't believe what an animal he was on Sundays. He deserves this as much as anybody...
That was actually a privelige to listen to, and it was an even greater honor to watch him play the game so passionately and at such a high level in his heyday. Pittsburgh and Steeler Nation doesnt deserve you Troy, thank you so much for everything you gave to the game.
He’s one of the few guys that everyone respected. No matter what their team was.
You're wrong, they are the only team that deserves him
My favorite player of all time - the goat of defensive backs and class act. I’ll never forget watching you play and the special memories you gave the Pittsburgh Steelers. My favorite moment was the walk off pick 6 in the AFC championship game vs our rival the Ravens to go to the super bowl in 2008. What an awesome moment and so many more to mention. True legend - all love my friend and God bless
The best FS in Steeler history imo
Strong safety!
You mean nfl history 🙌🏽
@@ashleylarson7294 idk about that one. There’s been some really strong contenders…Ronnie Lott, John Lynch, Charles Woodson, Darrel Green, Steve Atwater, Dennis Smith, Rod Woodson just to name a few but the list goes on. Polamalu definitely top 5 on my list tho
Really went out on a limb here...
@@makfolyfe9748 arguments can be made vice versa among the many great safeties to have played the game, whether it be stats or it be great moments that changes games. To tip the scale however, you either are bias in favor of whoever, or have witnessed their captivating greatness, in that time and in that moment. To each his own tho
Malo le galue ma le tauivi uso!!! Vrry proud of you uso Troy for representing not only us Samoans, but many of us Pacific Islanders!!! Alofa atu bro and congrats
I'm a Browns fan and even tho he played for the black and yellow i enjoyed seeing him play cause you never knew where he was going to be on the field. He had me angry on many Sunday's but that's cool
That was a great speech.....As a Ravens fan, Troy was always the one player I feared and truly respected. He played the game the right way. That's the biggest honor you can give a player IMO.
As a steelers fan ill send it right back. Ed Reed was the same to us. Lucky to have two legends play against each other at the height of their rivalry and they both did it with class. Now their both on the same HOF team.
Hey y’all had Ed reed. Dudes a baller !
Troy's hair still looks fantastic
That's the head and shoulders baby.
Easily one of the best football players of all time. Not just safety. I have to add that I've never heard him speak about anything. He has a lot to say and he's very interesting.
My 2nd favorite NFL player. I say that with no disrespect cause I could have been a Steelers fan.
Thank you for the way you played the game, your tenacity, courage and the love of family.
Thanks for the memories Troy. My family and I have had so many amazing moments watching the Steelers play!
I love Troy. Steelers football will never be the same. Congratulations on a HOF career.
I can't believe how fast Polamalu's career went by. I still remember him at USC. Wow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Troy - the stage dive at the 2009 Super Bowl parade was legendary.
as a defense lover, him and Ed Reed were my icons.
GOAT. It was mine and every other Yinzers pleasure to have watched you. And from myself and every other fan in the stands during the 09 AFC Championship game, thank you for giving us a memory that will never EVER fade.
This guy is so intelligent and well spoken, truly amazing. When you Google how to do a speech--this is going to come up as the first in search results. Well done.
Loved watching this man play.. I also love how soft spoken and humble he is. A true first ballot hall of famer, and family man first. I bet if you to ask him that’s what he’s be most proud of. Core to his family and beliefs while football has always been a game. More players should be like Troy. Always loved watching Steelers vs Ravens and watching Troy on one defense vs Ed Reed and Ray Lewis on the other. Magic I don’t think we will be blessed with again. Thank you for everything Troy and bless you and your family in retirement. Congratulations on the hall of fame you deserve it.
Such a great player, well deserved. Every one was/is looking for a guy like this. A game changer in every way.
Love this guy...my all time favorite Steeler who shares the same. My mom would've been so happy to have seen this moment 😊 🙏🏾
What a speech… wow. Always had respect and appreciation when watching Troy play. This speech was inspirational. Well done
Troy! One of my favorite players ever! You deserve this and I’m so happy for you! Loved watching you play.
Life long packer fan but i have the upmost respect for Troy and everything he represents. Steelers really have had some of the greatest players on that side of the ball to ever play. I’ll forever be grateful that i got to see that hair sprinting across the field for a tackle or an interception on countless occasions. So well deserved. We love you Polamalu
Not a Steelers fan and barely watched Troy play but this almost had me teary eyed lol. Great speech.
Respect Troy always been a fan of your character!!🙏🏾
As a Cincinnati bengals fan. I have nothing but love and respect and appreciation for that man. Gonrats 🙏
My All time favorite Steeler!
This is honestly one of the best selfless HoF speeches ive ever heard . You can feel the selflessness in his delivey and content . Great stuff Mr. C GAP
As a steelers fan I feel blessed to have had him play for my favourite team and watch an amazing career from start to finish. I don't think a single fan would ever deny wishing he played for their team including their rivals and only has the highest opinion of him. A legend.
Love this Brotha
Troy is a true legend and a true steeler. Humble and tough as nails gave me some of the best years of my life thank you Troy!!
Absolute legend.
Explains why we always have a decent to great defense. That mentality of the Steelers is priceless!
Congratulations from a Colts fan to STEELERS NATION. MUCH DESERVED AND DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAD A PRIVILEGE TO SEE. MUCH RESPECT!!!
Meh
One of the greatest of all time! God bless 🙏🙏❤
Wow, never heard his voice until now, he was such a killer on the field, but is soft spoken. Great speech!

I saw them all and the best two safety ever in the NFL is Ed Reed and Troy Polamau
Ed was the best free safety and Troy was the best strong safety.
Congrats..played like a TRUE football player EVERY Sunday...Even more a Great man on field and off. 👍👍
My favorite athlete who I can say humbly I named my 1st son after!!!!!!!!! GOAT.
When guys you grew up watching start going to the HOF it makes you feel old 😅
But proud also. 😎
This man's timing & hitting power
One of the greatest Steeler players of all time! What a man! ❤ What a speech!
Steelers need to play this speech before every game and practice. If this doesn't motivate you I don't know what will..
Thank you for the memories and thank you for what you brought to your family and millions of fans
Great dude and spectacular football player
Hate the Steelers, but that guy was a beast and one of the best safeties i have seen!! Amazing player, amazing talent and from what i hear a good man all round.
Well deserved, even as a ravens fan I respected this guy.
You guys had Ed Reed at the same time. I loved watching both of them. Some of the two greatest to do it. Loved watching Ravens and Steeler mostly because of those two plus Ray Lewis. Much love as a Viking fan 💪🏻
I’m not a Steelers Fan but man this was an Awesome representation of what it is like to play for this City!!! One of the Best Safeties Ever!!!
The Steeler Nation and players are on a whole different level of self respect and humility. They may not win every game....but they WIN every game if you you know what I mean. ...and only Steeler people will understand.
A goat and national treasure
I don't know how anyone can dislike this
Pat is still a little salty

Nobody was better ! Luv this dude so humble and nice man it seems ! But boy was he a menace on the field as he should have been !
As a Patriots fan, I miss Polamalu playing. He was a football player.
One word. Class.
This speech needs to be played to every Steelers draft pick from this day forth.
I’m a true blue Cowboy fan thru and thru…this man is a class act!! Loved his speech, very heartfelt and genuine. Something this league of spoiled brats need to aspire to be!!!
Pretty impossible to hate on this guy. He seems as genuine as he was dedicated to the steelers.
Is there a Hall of Fame for Hall of Fame speeches? Because these one should be.
TROY!!!
Congrats troy polamalu you played hard everyday watching this man with the steelers as a kid and that defense he played mannnnn
Congrats Troy!! Loved him on the field.
Is it just me or does Troy sound like Michael Jackson. So proud of you Troy, you represent our culture in every way played the game. Our ancestors and ancient warriors are proud of you.
It’s just you. Sounds nothing like mike. Two completely different vocal patterns
He has a higher pitched voice, but nothing like MJ.
They both soft spoken, but a beast at their craft..lol
It does
Awesome speech
Love his game.. and I love his hair. It’s always the same
So Proud of you Troy!!!
I knew Troy back before he hit it big. Good guy, humble. Happy for him

Real stand up guy.Much Respect
Hated when my team played against him but god dam it was amazing to watch
Real talk .Always killing the play.
What a great guy he is! This coming from a Giants fan. On another note, my Lieutenant reminds me of Troy so much. It’s almost uncanny!
Greatly deserved, a true legend🙌
This is awesome!! Troy & Steve Smith are the guys that made me love the game
Troy is such a gentle spirit that you tend to forget this man can squash a player easily during his playing days. 😅
Great defensive player and an amazing man
HE ONE OF THE BEST THAT EVER WAS.
A soft spoken man that knock people out on the field lol
I actually watched this guy play; absolutely just wow.
We’re kicking it.
Wow that was great!!!!!
While listening to him praise Steeler nation, I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if he brought a beat up old metal lunch box up to the podium with him and at the end of his speech, open up the lunch box and pulled out a 'Terrible Towel' and said: "STEELER NATION...........wave those towels!"
My favorite
Congrats Troy & Reed the two best to ever do it. Darren hopefully will get in someday.
