The rifle arrived today and I dialed in the scope just a couple hours ago ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL . I haven’t shot with a scope in probably 25 years. The X on the left was my target. (the shot almost in the bullseye on the right X was my father in laws first shot after I made adjustments) The two shots circled are my first 2 shots. Then I brought it down - shot once. Then brought it over to the left. From there zeroed it in to dead center. This all was from 25 yards out. Follow instructions carefully when mounting the scope. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.
I commend you for giving honest and sometimes damning opinions of guns even though as a shop owner you have a vested interest. It really is a breath of fresh air as most other airgun channels seem to be more like advertisers rather than the reviewers that they claim to be. All the best to you and your family this Christmas
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas Lloyd ( and all the staff at B.A.R. )and a very Happy New Year! Many thanks for all of the great videos this year and we are all looking forward to even more next year. Have fun, Joe
Cheers for the video Lloyd. Surprised by the HW110 winning (as I was one of the unlucky few with the dodgy barrel batch that you chaps sorted out for me), but I have to say it has been flawless since. Didn't know the Compatto had problems either, so will hold fire on that until I see the Bantam. Hope you and the rest of the chaps at BAR have a great Christmas and New Year! Cheers Jason (Tachunter)
Who would have believed that I had just bought the airgun of the year!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all at BAR and all your customers. Many thanks for all your videos Lloyd keep up the good work,
Thanks for all the trouble you and the team put in during the course of the year. Good honest reviews, love it. Best wishes to all of you and more next year please.
Another great honest video Lloyd & the team. My personal worst of the year has to be the P10 Shorty, following all the reviews I bought it as a budget bullpup and I obviously got a terrible example; returned it after the third & final leak -and both the accuracy (or lack thereof) & the mega-stiff bolt action -were pretty shocking. R
well done Loyd just got a hw110 a few months ago very very happy with it .Very happy it won, merry Christmas to you and your staff. ps great video's all the year round
Good call! I had a choice of a 110 or 100 and chose the 100 but it was close. Thanks for all the great videos look forward to 2017! Merry Christmas and happy new year
Nice one Lloyd... Thought you may have put a Santa outfit on LOL!!!! Merry Christmas to all at BAR and have a great New Year and looking forward to new videos ;o))))
Merry Christmas Lloyd & Best Wishes for the New Year-Looking forward to next seasons shows. I hope we see some nice long rifles in 2017, I have seen just about enough of black guns and bull pups Bring back the Walnut!
Respect for your opinion. I bought a Kral bulpup, the accuracy is perfect. I managed to find the best pellet very quickly. I had to get an extension for the rail because, even with high mounts, the scope was too low. Another problem was condensation around the magazine area, when shooting you are breathing directly onto it. The price is the winner.
Hello Lloyd, I`ve always been impressed with your reviews as you give the info Pro`s and Cons of each !! whereas My local gun shop Doesn`t, Recently I went to buy an FX Impact and immediatly was told Dont waist your money as they have too many issues ? Shame as this really shined to me ! I then turned to a Wildcat to which I had a go and found when loading the bolt seemed to stick and I had to push Hard to get the bolt home , the guy in the shop said this will get smoother as when used ?? I wasn`t Impressed as I thought I was going to be, so Now I turned to a Lightweight and short in my hands, in fact what I thought was Perfect, this was a Brocock Compatto, Again was told these have Issues and Not reliable, I really liked how Light it was so I asked about the Bantam, he said well you take your chances because Brocock haven`t sorted out thier problems yet ??? But I wanted a Rifle >> NOW ?? so I bought a FX Cutlas in Poly, I`ve just told you about what I`ve experienced within the last month BUT at NO point I was actually told what was wrong Specificly about any of the above, This is where you come into the picture and what I like seeing about you, As a Gun shop and Supplier you test and Tell >> Good with the Bad !! Keep going Fella, Your one of the Best !! >> Now if only I can find a Video of a breakdown of my Cutlas instead of just shooting it ??
Cheers Lloyd, you're never gonna get lynched by recommending a Weihrauch. Really looking forward to more info on the Bantam in the new year. A very Merry Xmas to you and all the staff at BAR.
if FX have anything about them your the one person they should call for a party seeing as you and your team have put there guns right and sold good ones or if you didnt fix them there would be an even bigger crowd of people pissed off, you speak sense about gun problems they should thank you. good input. i got 2 HW100 after your advice got 177 and the 22. now im thinking about scopes sidewinder maybe any advice on this. merry christmas
I shouldered about 10 rifles in a gun shop recently , and out of all of them , the 110 felt the best in my hands and to shoulder , if I’d had the cash in me pocket I would have bought it without hesitation, it just felt so good , thanks for the honesty , because let’s be honest , QC should be spot on before they leave the factory , they are not 150 quid guns are they , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Great video as always Lloyd, I had a .22 Kral off you myself and find it spot on (maybe I was lucky) but I do consider it a good (and cheaper way) to dip into the bullpup style of rifle and shooting. A little surprised you went for the 110 though as I think its just an improvement of a older gun as with the R10........I do agree though that it as been a year for problems with new guns from the box Merry Christmas to you and your staff............and please more videos!!
Whilst people may not agree with your decision, I think you should be applauded for coming at it as impartially as you have, especially since you demonstrated that you're quite happy to eat a bit of humble pie. I don't usually enjoy watching gun reviews that don't actually show them being shot but I watched all of this. You have a new subscriber!
Just subscribed to your channel liked your honesty I'm in the market for buying a new gas ram or springer and would love your opinion on what would be the best for a budget of around £300. Or even a video on the best break barrels out there. Once again great video look forward to seeing more.
Merry Xmas, & Great & Happy New Year to you and all at BAR...... as per normal excellent information and a must for all looking to spend their hard earned going into 2017, I'm a Daystate Regal man myself but have previously owned many springers the majority of them Weihrauch's, I will wait until the HW110 comes onto the second hand market, then try and bag myself a bargain. Thanks again for a frank and honest review. Allan.
Regals are great guns although they have had their fair share of issues in the last couple of years which is a damn shame . I loved mine . Good plan with the HW110 Allan. Happy new year :)
very good reporting i have a brocock compato in 22 cal nothing but problems air leaks out the breach seal don;t hold up i paid in united states 1000.00 dollars is a lot of money ihave a beeman r 10 it is 35 years old and it works better now then when i gought it it just keeps getting better. thank you very much keep up the good work.
Excellent review, Lloyd. Balanced and straightforward. All the best for 2017. I'd like to have seen the Compatto win, especially as it's such good value, but as you say, reliability is so important. I wonder if keeping up with demand - it's been very popular - has meant QC at the factory has slipped.
I don't think there is any excuse, but there might be a reason and it could be they rushed them out to satisfy demand. We will keep an eye on reliability over the next months and see if things improve now the initial rush is over .
Hello , thank you for the e wonderful video , it's very helpful . as I'm new in this . I was hoping to get the Wolverine 303 . what do you think of it ?
Merry xmas and thanks for you honesty. Not many reviews on here are that honest and you may have saved me buying a dud in the new year. Cheers Lloyd 👍🏻
Hey Lloyd I know this is an really old video but I'd just like to ask if you would still recommend the Kral puncher breaker in this price range I'm 15 so don't have much money but am looking for my first Pcp airifle I'm currently using my grandads old springer for rabbits and target shooting but am looking to upgrade help appreciated love your videos
hi I need to ask you this which is the best one to have weihrauch hw 100kt .20 or weihrauch hw100T .22 & can you push power up to a F A R or buy another rifle my mate as a rifle shop you got to buy another rifle or is he wrong many thanks Paul
I love your honesty LLoyd ,,you are pretty spot on your comments, of all the airguns i own my old hw100 is the most reliable of them all though my fav gun is my Daystate huntsman classic in ..20 cal keep up the vids in 2017 , A very Happy New Year to you and all the staff a tBAR atb brian
Happy new year Brian. I regret selling my Huntsman . I also had it in .20 with an anchutz barrel. Happy with my Hw100 and R10 for the moment . Lets hope 2017 is better for new stuff . Cheers
BSA or the HW .. Don't fire PCPs but that's the ones that would be on my short list ..Two lovely rifles .. My best rifle of the Ayer is the HW98'got from you recently.. Now V-Mach kit installed ..Silk on Silk
well my brockock compatto i must say has been faultless, guess I must have been lucky or got one that has been sorted. It really is a fantastic bit of kit, not 100% sure about the mag, but there again i'm used to using the hw100 mag, and what works better than that?.. Keep up the good work..
Thank goodness they aren't all bad ones, in fact when they work the Compattos are superb. They just need to improve their quality control and the guns will be fine....which funnily enough is what Brocock are working hard to improve at the moment :)
I just want to know the one with the best accuracy and the best fire power. Looks don't really matter to me and if I can just do some slight modifications to make the gun even better then I would do it, even it is reliable. But good video.
VerminSniperUnit what sort of distances are you shooting successfully and what ranges are you grouping at? looking at this gun as a pure target gun. What scope you riding with? cheers!
Hi Lloyd, I like the video and our review about the range of air gun you selected. However, you could improve on this perhaps. Therefore, you did not give us the price for each one and their weights. I would appreciate if you could find time in your busy schedule to draw up a list on this particular review, that would be fantastic mate. Cheers and best regards from Alan. HAPPY NEW 2017 all.
Nice vid, honest opinions, just the job, thanks. Would like to have seen the r10 do better, but you are spot on. I think the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" springs to mind, my Mk2 is the best .22 I've ever owned. Cheers and have a prosperous New Year.
The only reason the R10 didn't win was because it wasn't new . You could say the 110 wasn't that new either but at least there were quite a few differences between it and Hw100 . Whatever though, the R10 is a fantastic gun . Happy new year :)
I have a wildcat FX MK1 it is faultless. My brother has the MK2 but does not come up to the MK1 standard. and me being a lefty that loading lever being in the middle PERFECT.
Actually, I think this is the Best on U-Tube showing what you have and giving an Honest Opinion on everything, To Me, It makes a difference , A strong difference at that !!!So Thank You Lloyd, I have a Fx and have liked this Brand seems like for ever ? However I`ve looked at a Wildcat and wasn`t pleased with the Catchy Loading, ( wasn`t smooth at all ), Now I`m looking to buy a Brocock Bantam, Question :- can the Bolt be placed on the left hand side so I can still Hold and Fire with the right hand, but pull the Bolt with my left, This seems so Natural to do this as a way of keeping the gun up on target, instead of switching hands all the time ??
Definitely will , and will be raising our game next year. New Studio, new co-presenters and actual full tests . New channel coming too :) Thanks for watching boss.
Merry Xmas to you all. I agree with you on the Brocock and reliability issues. Third time lucky? so far so good with mine and don't start me on slingshot or no slingshot. Disappointed to be honest as wanted/expected better.
What rifle would you recommend for my first gun. money is very tight I'm looking at second hand/used. usage rabbits at distance up to 40 mters. full powered. great vid. Tom
Depends on your budget Tom.. If you are talking around £100 then an Edgar brothers model EB60. Fantastic for the money . If £200 then Id find a nice second hand Weihrauch Hw95 .
Just got a 110 absolutely love it but have head a few people online saying about power dropping issues have you had many or any back with problems thanks :)
The Fx Impact that I had was so bad that I had sent it back to Fx 8 time and still it can not hit a barn door from 20 yard . it would not hit any thing that I amid at . Replaced it with a Strye 5 spot on
does anyone know if they are still open, i have tried ringing them maybe 40 times since christmas to purchase a new pcp but no answer. really hope its still open great shop.
great guns! but i have to say that fx impact in my opinion is the airgun of this year at least here in the US in fac power. just take a look at extreme bechrest 2016 results. but nice vid mate and merry christmas!
Its ludicrous that a rifle costing the best part of £1600 is beaten by one at £650!! but rightly so. I think so many manufacturers have lost sight of a lot of old school principles the biggest being quality control. They need to take a step back and rethink their plan of attack. Yes its a very competitive market, but as Weihrauch are continuing to prove time and time again reliability is the key!! All the best to BAR and i hope you have a great Xmas and new year.
Great video and criticism, Lloyd! It is really exceptional to have balanced evaluations when most youtubers and airgun magazine journalists will sell their own grandmother rather than make a critical comparison between two particular products. In this sponsored day and age, you perform a service that is truly miles better, ethically, than the people who should be doing just that. Thank YOU! It might seem though (and this is only a suggestion for next time) that you might usefully have two or more categories; one would be the most innovative airgun, and the other would be the most reliable. Also, what happened to springers? You ARE talking about New PCP of the Year, not airgun as such. No matter, thanks for a great service to the airgun community, if you'd only start shipping export again, you'd be the bees knees. "Note this is a recent development due to our courier, TNT withdrawing the ability to ship guns." Not very recent anymore, is it? Time to find a new shipper? No matter, thanks a bunch again, and happy 2017!
I did plan to have 5 categories, but with the shop being busy its always a race against time...that I lost. I have plans for a springer video but I honestly don't think there was much in the way of new springers that were good enough ( Maybe the Diana N-Tec was close) As for export shipping, every UK courier we have approached won't touch airguns any more. You could almost say there is something suspicious about this.... Happy new year :)
Went to buy a Compatto, came out with a Weihrauch 110. Best gun I've ever had, ticks all the boxes, it's a joy to shoot after the disappointment of a Hatsan AT44.
Mate good info but a bit long winded. What about a video on best co2 pistol of 2016. Or do you have the fps of the new apx for bereatta. Got one two weeks ago and no one has info on the fps. Cordy 1.77..
I know I know...UA-cam...6 minutes is meant to be the best video length but I was a bit nervous and I'm passionate about the subject so yes , its hard to learn to shut up but I'll try harder ;) I'm doing a pistol video soon , after best scope of 2016 . Just have to find time because the shops busy and customers come first . Thanks for watching Lee and I appreciate your little bit of advice . I haven't checked the power on an APX yet sorry, but if you bring yours in we can test the power .
I could do but it would be very short and not exactly thrilling for most of our viewers. Just buy a standard Harris or Harris copy bipod, they are the most popular and work perfectly :)
Nice review and owning a compatto it has been very unreliable and QC lets it down massively, the bantam is having issues too with leaking fill valves, i am really at a loss as to why Brocock have not gone back over the compatto and made them spot on before adding a buddy bottle and re naming the same gun.
We haven't had any Bantams yet . I admit I am a little concerned when you say they are having leak issues too . I think if they don't get the gun right it could ruin any faith left in Brocock. Fingers crossed they make sure these guns are perfect as I'm getting cured of selling unreliable guns .
Lloyd Schober i just bought one from airguns of arizona here in the us and after 30 rounds the valve is leaking its my first european rifle and its very disappointing
Maybe you were unlucky Ryan, or maybe you got old stock because we are still having a very good reliability record recently. I'm sure AOA will look after you and sort the issues.
Blackpool Air Rifles they sorted it out and i gotta say im super happy the gun is exeptionally accurate and handles great im considering an hw110 now or an r10se wich would you recommend?
Watched this video again for about the 10th time and can't nail down why I keep coming back to it but I just think it's a down to earth totally honest video by someone who tells it as it is
Fantastically honest. You know I’m looking for a pcp and I’m still trying to decide…but I’m definitely going to buy it from Blackpool air rifles…..because of of your honesty and complete lack of bullshit 👍
Yes , the Gladius is heavy, cumbersome and not particularly well finished but it does work Ok and some people seem to love the looks . I prefer to get a standard AT44 and put a Craftsman Vit bullpup on it... Better looking, lighter and lovely walnut. Don't try and compare it with a Glahad though , the Air arms is mush better built and finished although you pay a lot more for the privilege.
FX have said there are issues that they are working on so it can't be just one retailer, one importer or one country. Thing is you probably won't know because things like this are kept quiet .
Good choice on air gun of the year, when you take every thing in like cost, reliability and finish, because when your paying out up to £1000+ for a rifle you should not get problems. Merry xmas and a great new year to one and all.
A honest oppinion, what more can you say. Have a great xmas and a happy new year. Oh would have liked to seen the FX streamline on the table as a contender.
The Streamline wouldn't have won . Build quality issues ( see my last vid) ruined it's chance although when they sort the issues it looks like it could be a fantastic rifle .
I would agree with your assessment of these guns 100% . I have the bsa r10 in black pepper laminate after installing a best fittings larger carbon tank and huma regulator I would say that it is without my best gun for shot count and accuracy etc. I also have the Weilrauch hw 110 in grey laminate which is also a fantastic gun it’s not my best but comes very close straight out of the box. Offering unbelievable accuracy, it’s much lighter to carry around but my drawback is the shot count . I would ague to say that Weilrauch engineering leaves all others way behind maybe it’s their quality control which in my opinion is second to none
Hi Lloyd, thanks for the video. Just a couple of questions. Being from England myself I know what Marmite is but not sure what you meant by 'marmite gun' when talking about the Gallahad. Obviously a local expression. Also, excuse my ignorance, but why are bullpups so named? I don't own an air rifle currently but I would go for the HW100 or 110. The problem here in Australia is that silencers are illegal and most air rifles seem to come with them as standard and therefore are not approved for sale here. Happy New Year. Paul from Adelaide, South Australia
Issues with leaks , gauge faults, accuracy issues, low power issues. As of today though 23/05/17...5 months later reliability has improved dramatically and they are now on our recommended list again :)
Hmm, interesting. I was looking to buy a Compatto after watching numerous 'big up' reviews on here. None of which mentioned the issues. Might go with a Scorpion SE instead... or one of those lovely Ultra Multi in Olive Green if still available?!
hi mate what about the Hatsan Gladius .22 I've had mine a while and it's been fantastic for me. so am just wondering how it got on in your shop and what you think of it also Lloyd have you had any issues with the Hatsan. Great Video as usual mate 👍👍👍👍👍
We had to send all ours back due to bad finishing Tony. I did try one and I thought it was bulky and heavy. Also for that money you could buy an AT44 and a Craftman Vit bullpup kit . Sorry but we all like what we like and I didn't like the Gladius one bit ,but opinions are like arseholes and if you like it thats all that counts :)
Lol I must of got a good one then mate coz mine has a good finish and I like the tactical look of it. Also I've made a suppressor for mine. Am friends with you on Facebook I'll send you the pic of my set up. I still have my Daystate Wolverine c type. So the Hatsan is just for fun and looks lol. Cheers Lloyd. 🖒
Good guns for the money. If you want to turn it into something special that's better balanced try a Craftsman Vit bullpup stock. We have done a video about them a couple of months ago :)
The rifle arrived today and I dialed in the scope just a couple hours ago ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL . I haven’t shot with a scope in probably 25 years. I agree John. If you get a good one they are fantastic value. Glad you are happy with yours . Happy new year :)
Getting the KRAL myself. What pellets do you prefer?
Acuppels go well in my gun buddy.
I like your honesty! There is so much bull when it comes to reviews on new rifles. It's refreshing to know the facts.
Thanks for the straight up honesty!! Hit the nail on the head with many of them including FX

hi Lloyd,

keep the vids coming.
happy Xmas mate.

Lloyd always a pleasure to see the GUTSY CALL and not Fluff !!
Thanks Lloyd for an open & honest review

Brilliant video
Great review! Much enjoyed
Great vid mate
hi I need to ask you this which is the best one to have weihrauch hw 100kt .20 or weihrauch hw100T .22 & can you push power up to a F A R or buy another rifle my mate as a rifle shop you got to buy another rifle or is he wrong many thanks Paul
I'm looking for a 22 or 25 cal. co2 repeter air gun that use 2 12 gram cylinders rether than larger co2 canisters ,....got any ideas...thanks..Al
I love your honesty LLoyd ,,you are pretty spot on your comments,
of all the airguns i own my old hw100 is the most reliable of them all
though my fav gun is my Daystate huntsman classic in ..20 cal
keep up the vids in 2017 , A very Happy New Year to you and all the staff a tBAR
atb brian
Picking my 110 up tomorrow Lloyd. Merry Christmas mate all the very best mate
VerminSniperUnit how are you finding the 110? Almost bought one today for my first rifle... may pull the trigger this week
Scott Mathieson it's awesome I'm loving it. Can't fault it at all
VerminSniperUnit what sort of distances are you shooting successfully and what ranges are you grouping at? looking at this gun as a pure target gun. What scope you riding with? cheers!
See you in the new year pal impact saving
a nice honest review
Happy new year :)
interesting i have the R10mk2 but i realy like the fx impact im considering trading the bsa for the fx after this im not sure merry christmas
nice one,,,very good review and honest,,,,,well done
I have a wildcat FX MK1 it is faultless. My brother has the MK2 but does not come up to the MK1 standard. and me being a lefty that loading lever being in the middle PERFECT.
very nice and frank review which is what folk want to hear, have a nice xmas to all and an even happier 2017
You too Delbo. Thanks for your input over the year, really appreciate your enthusiam and feedback .
Fantastic rifles I have the 110 in .177 and the hw 100 in .20 hw 110 light super accurate
I'm getting the hw100kt for Christmas can't wait heard nothing but good things about them
Actually, I think this is the Best on U-Tube showing what you have and giving an Honest Opinion on everything, To Me, It makes a difference , A strong difference at that !!!So Thank You Lloyd, I have a Fx and have liked this Brand seems like for ever ? However I`ve looked at a Wildcat and wasn`t pleased with the Catchy Loading, ( wasn`t smooth at all ), Now I`m looking to buy a Brocock Bantam, Question :- can the Bolt be placed on the left hand side so I can still Hold and Fire with the right hand, but pull the Bolt with my left, This seems so Natural to do this as a way of keeping the gun up on target, instead of switching hands all the time ??
The Bantam is only available with a right hand bolt sorry :(
Great video fella, hope you do many more next year
Definitely will , and will be raising our game next year. New Studio, new co-presenters and actual full tests . New channel coming too :) Thanks for watching boss.
new co presenter ...is she nice ?
Hmm... Shes quite manly
Can you do some reviews on scopes and mounts suitable for springers
We are planning a scope video , coming soon :)
Merry Xmas to you all.
I agree with you on the Brocock and reliability issues. Third time lucky? so far so good with mine and don't start me on slingshot or no slingshot. Disappointed to be honest as wanted/expected better.
Agree a good selection, best bullpup, the edgun or wildcat?
I haven't spent a lot of time handling Edguns, but I have used the Wildcat and its a fantastic gun :)
Top video... honest and clear.
if only all retailers went to the trouble you do to inform customers, Merry Christmas 👍
Happy new year David :)
what do you think of the hw77 mk2? circa 1982 just baught it in great condition my first air rifle
Fantastic gun !
We haven't had any power issues at all Jack .
Awesome news :)
The Fx Impact that I had was so bad that I had sent it back to Fx 8 time and still it can not hit a barn door from 20 yard .
it would not hit any thing that I amid at .
Replaced it with a Strye 5 spot on
I can hit a dog door with mine at 200 yards in the wind. sucks you've had this experience
does anyone know if they are still open, i have tried ringing them maybe 40 times since christmas to purchase a new pcp but no answer. really hope its still open great shop.
Still open just a bit busy in the shop. Try our other number: 01253 622863 :)
great guns! but i have to say that fx impact in my opinion is the airgun of this year at least here in the US in fac power. just take a look at extreme bechrest 2016 results. but nice vid mate and merry christmas!
I couldn't give airgun of the year to an unreliable gun and we have had a lot of issues with them. Granted when they are working they are fantastic
Great stuff. You made a wise choice. Thanks for watching .
Can you do a video on the best bipod for a hw100 ?
I could do but it would be very short and not exactly thrilling for most of our viewers. Just buy a standard Harris or Harris copy bipod, they are the most popular and work perfectly :)
All nice air gun,my favo is hw 100/110..👍👍👍
Brilliant, knowledgeable review mate. You know your stuff buddy, thank you.
Thank you . I still need to improve my presentation though , still nervous !
Still good to listen too !!
Don't worry, it's all good. We just need more of them!
Update on 13/11/17 . It seems Daystate have sorted the reliability issues . Not a single fault with a Compatto or Bantam for about 6 months
Merry Christmas 🎄 pal happy new year to hope you get a nice present 🎁 to god bless ✝️🇬🇧
best info all year, on all new airguns;
I hope to get a Galahad. I am very curious about the Hatsan Gladius do you have any information regarding the Gladius?
Yes , the Gladius is heavy, cumbersome and not particularly well finished but it does work Ok and some people seem to love the looks . I prefer to get a standard AT44 and put a Craftsman Vit bullpup on it... Better looking, lighter and lovely walnut. Don't try and compare it with a Glahad though , the Air arms is mush better built and finished although you pay a lot more for the privilege.
We sent the Gladius back due to finish issues. They are OK, but very bulky and heavy . I prefer a standard AT44 in a Crsftsman Vit stock
Thankyou for that information. I will save up for the Air arms Galahad in that case.
I wonder if the issues with reliability are across the board through all importers or just in the U.K.?
FX have said there are issues that they are working on so it can't be just one retailer, one importer or one country. Thing is you probably won't know because things like this are kept quiet .
Lloyd Schober fair enough man. you'd obviously know better than I!
Good review, very honest.
Good choice on air gun of the year, when you take every thing in like cost, reliability and finish, because when your paying out up to £1000+ for a rifle you should not get problems. Merry xmas and a great new year to one and all.
Happy new year Carl. Thanks for watching .
hi I was wondering could you get an evanix sniper air rifle and if so how much do they retail for thanks
Yes we can get them , they are £799, but just wait a while, the RTI is coming :)
OK thanks I'll wait a while
Nice honest review. Now what gun am I going to buy next year?
Adam Huskins There are things incoming .. can't say more but 2017 will be a better year :)
A honest oppinion, what more can you say. Have a great xmas and a happy new year.
Oh would have liked to seen the FX streamline on the table as a contender.
Oh and maybe the Leshie would put a spanner in the works.
The Streamline wouldn't have won . Build quality issues ( see my last vid) ruined it's chance although when they sort the issues it looks like it could be a fantastic rifle .
Possibly, the Leshie looks interesting , although its price might knock a few points off.
Marmite gun as in "love it or hate it".
Also, many guns are actually available, pretty much the whole FX line, some of the AA guns etc.
happy new year , so if the BSA R10 SE came out this year would it win the gun of the year
If it was a brand new gun then I think it probably would have . What do you think?
Probably yes, Mines superb, but so is my Hw100 :)
You got any left handed air guns please???
Yes, we have a few new guns in left hand and usually quite a few second hands as well. All shown on our website : www.airgunbuyer.com :)
So what exactly is wrong with the Brocock Compatto in terms of reliability.
The Ultra multi in olive is still available and is a cracking air rifle :)
Oh right, do they still do the Multi cam version too Lloyd?
You can get the Real tree camo version in the Scorpion SE but not Ultra.
OK thanks!
I bought the 110 and still can’t fault it 👍👍
what about the fx streamline?
We had only seen a sample Streamline before we made the vid, and the fit and finish was bad enough that we sent them back to the importer.
hi mate what about the Hatsan Gladius .22 I've had mine a while and it's been fantastic for me. so am just wondering how it got on in your shop and what you think of it also Lloyd have you had any issues with the Hatsan.
Nice pics Tony. Maybe we got a bad batch , who knows but main thing is you are happy with it . Be dull if we all liked the same :)
Lloyd Schober I just bought the Hatsan AT44-10. it's a bit heavy, but the thing seems very accurate and quiet.
Good guns for the money. If you want to turn it into something special that's better balanced try a Craftsman Vit bullpup stock. We have done a video about them a couple of months ago :)
Hello,Lloyd,brocock copatto,and HW110,which one you recommend?thank you so much!
The Hw110 Shun , its our new airgun of the year :)
Lloyd Schober thank you so much :)
Can the rail on the kral be upgraded to one made from metal rather than plastic?
The Krals now have metal scope rails as standard :)
Lloyd Schober
That is true, but for those that bought the first batch, the plastic rail hasnt helped with accuracy
I'll check with the importer..
Sorry to say they are not interchangeable according to importer :(
Fair review.......I love it........!!1!!1!!1
What about the Rotex RM8 ?
Wasn't new this year , but it is a fantastic gun :)
