    My name is Luciano and I'm from Brazil, state of Rio Grande do Sul, and this BSA costs a fortune, few have the privilege of having a jewel of these, I particularly own a 5.5 at4410w and I I know how much time and money I took to be able to get her, but I'm happy with her and I still want another pcp and this BSA r10 SE is one of the options. Well, thank you for being so good with us videos, keep it up like this, big hug !! !

    Gidday Tyler.
    Great video mate.
    I must say, I really like your videos. Its good to get an honest opinion of a gun from someone who uses lots of different types and brands and who is not sponsored by one particular company.
    .
    Ps, I cant wait for the .25cal to come out. We have big stuff here in OZ and .25cals are a really good allrounder!

    I shoot airguns in the uk, so I tend to run my pcp's in 177 and my springers in 22. I use my pcp's for static and use my springers for rough shooting (as a guide not a rule).

    In the quest for a new PCP I want to know how well it shoots out to 100 yds. Indoors is fine. I have watched a ton of PA's videos, trigger pull, # of shots per fill, finish, silence, etc but a bit more distance please.

    I want one, but do I need one ? I already have a .177 Daystate Regal XL.
    These are over $3,000 here, ( New Zealand ) and I can pick up a little used Air Arms S510 with a scope and mounts for less than two.
    Just gorgeous though.

    I don't know. I've lusted after the BSA R10 MKII for about a year now, and it does seem to get very good reviews overall, but I have to say, I am a bit underwhelmed by those groups at 45 yards, AND the 'new' more efficient regulator. Doesn't seem to be a very impressive factory regulator, still.
    Many MKII owners put in aftermarket regulators and had much better performance.
    For $1,200 out of the box, I don't think you should have to change or upgrade anything on a rifle.
    Just my opinion...

    • @tylerpatner6591
      @tylerpatner6591 7 років тому +5

      Gamo has owned BSA since the early 90s. Gamo and BSA ran largely independent of one another until 4-5 years ago. Then Gamo began manufacturing many of BSA's spring/gas ram rifles. Then Gamo began releasing their own PCP rifles which were mostly made in the BSA factory. It's a little tough to determine the entirety of the BSA line location of manufacture, but to my knowledge, all of the BSA PCPs are still made in the UK.

    • @tylerpatner6591
      @tylerpatner6591 7 років тому

      Both are great guns with comparable accuracy. The R10 SE being regulated gives it some advantage over the 510, but the 510 has the power adjuster (transfer port adjustment) which may appeal more based on your intended use. The SE is quieter and will do more shots per fill at FAC power levels.

    • @mohamedabdoola1159
      @mohamedabdoola1159 7 років тому

      Tyler thnk u 4 ur prompt reply, thats wat mkes it such a difficult choice - S510 hs the power adjuster & side lever cocking. wile the R10 is regulated & u cn change the look 2 a VC model. the S510 wit a moderator feels long, nt sure abt r10...

    • @tylerpatner6591
      @tylerpatner6591 7 років тому

      Well if you do different kinds of shooting where the power adjustment is going to be useful, then it makes the choice easier. But if you really only plan on using the gun at the higher end of the power range, the R10 will give you more shots per fill and provides the same performance from an accuracy perspective. And since it sounds like you're in a country that allows Suppressors for air rifles, you can get the CCS version of the R10 where the suppressor actually comes off and can be configured in a few variations. I would look at your decision this way....no matter which rifle you choose, you can't really go wrong.

    • @mohamedabdoola1159
      @mohamedabdoola1159 7 років тому

      Thnk u Tyler, frm a cost perspective the BSA r10 se ccs is way more cheaper than the AA S510. Maybe gt the r10 with a Hawke scope 4 the price of the AA only...lol

    See right there just goes to show you can spend over $1,000 on a gun and I've seen you shoot the kral puncher breaker for half the price nearly in your groups out of that gun wasn't really any better than the crawl they cost you half as much I don't get it why do these guns cost so much money but yet you can take them puncher breaker crawl in-group just as well as the BSA with the regulator in really doesn't shoot any better and cost twice you know I'd like everybody always says you get what you pay for I'm not seeing it

    • @edgarlombera7066
      @edgarlombera7066 6 років тому

      Don Wilson Don Wilson from personal experience your also paying for craftsmanship and reliable parts. Something you run into is manufacture problems on more budget guns, it’s not always the case, but it seems to happen more on these types. Most budget guns shoot well out of box but a lot of ppl tune them to get the most out of them, that will outshoot higher end guns or just the same. Plus you can’t go with accuracy with one review like this one, you have to see multiple, he may or may not be a crappy shot because I’ll agree with you the groups here weren’t that great... but I wouldn’t consider all this gun is capable of he only really showed 4 pellets. I’ve seen fx impacts where they shoot like laser beams and other were ehhh... it comes down to the shooter as well. And finally personal preference, I wouldn’t get a Kral because to me it’s an ugly gun, again personal taste, I prefer these walnut stocks with gorgeous detail and classic look. Even though the fx impact is an accurate gun, I wouldn’t get it because it looks like a toy to me, the fx crown is better looking but way out of my reach. But to each is own bro if we don’t see the point of spending money on a gun then don’t, be happy with your purchase and don’t let others tell you otherwise.

    Ye$. The expen$e. And what does this very pretty air rifle add to the sport/hobby? Nothing, as far as i can see. Someone getting into air rifles for the first time would skip this one do to price (my guess). I own a few air rifles and I can't see this rifle filling any gaps in my collection. So...yawn. on to the next video.

    • @viceversa922
      @viceversa922 6 років тому +1

      David Bires Obviously this gun isn’t meant for you. New ppl getting into the sport will definitely not buy something this expensive yet, they’ll go for the budget guns first and soon want something that shoots better, feels better, more shot count etc... and then they’ll decide what’s next. The ppl that buy the new and improved airguns are like the ppl that buy the new iPhones ever year. You’ll never be happy if you want to keep up with what’s new, no sentimental value to it.

    the bsa r10 is riddled with poor workmanship your comments are utter rubbish i know i own one withing 4 months from new the regulator was utterly fucked and had to be replace with a after market one made by huma ? the reg was fury with corrosion ? cheap very cheap i hope bsa are reading this the mk1 r10 well nearly every single one went back didnt they ? and truth be known i know of 4 shops that utterly refused to stock the r10 due to its utter poor workmanship and dont forget i own one , its not my go to gun if i need a positive shooting session bsa need to take a hard good long look at them selfs if they want to be a decent company , now moving i have not found a bsa r10 or as i call them a ha ha you brought one r10 that can shoot as good as a hw100 yes i also own a hw100 the bsa r10 can not and will not keep up with the german gun no where near bsa needs to get rid of that prat of a ceo the stupid little man who only wants to see money coming in and get jb back on the pay roll ? so in real time if you want to get a pcp rifle that is top dog out of the box get a hw100 not the bsa ha ha you got suckerd in to it r10 i say this as i have both guns but your money your choice you have been warned ,NOTE to bsa shame on you shame on you try spending top money on your research development and not high glosyy adverts in ass licking magazines
