    How have they held up so far? And who did you buy the headers through?
    My engine is torn apart rn at a shop and I need new headers. I wanna go with the long pipe for the v8 but I’m struggling to get any information from any of the companies who sell them. So I’m curious as to who you bought them from.

    • @boundlessbuilt943
      @boundlessbuilt943  Рік тому

      They are going strong! I bought directly from DT. New EPA regulations have screwed up all parts that touch emissions controls- EPA is threatening fines for each part listed for sale so companies are less inclined to sell them.

    Sick 4runner man. My 2003 V8 4runner has so much more rust. Its so sad. Frame has a few holes. The front right tow hook I literally ripped off by hand. I have a horrible ticking from cracked manifold. Transmission lunges when downshifting from 2nd to 1st coming to a stop. It also has the dreaded ABS constant beep issue. I am determined to bring it back to life though.

    • @boundlessbuilt943
      @boundlessbuilt943  Рік тому +1

      Keep it alive man!!! Check your trans fluid level, my trans had demon in it for a bit after one of the trans cooler lines blew and I found that the fluid levels would drop even after a top off - I attribute this to the system “burping” and getting the air out of lines and such.

    • @SkinnySkinch

I have to get that ABS beeping figured out first though that beep is so loud and obnoxious I cant even drive with it. I really need to get my car lift installed. @@singlecabtundra0545 definitely not a knock. I’m wondering if it’s something in the valvetrain… I don’t think that’s an exhaust leak/crack either. Might need a valve adjustment but that could be a huge task.
