It's a very reliable and fun bike. With exhaust and ecu flash, mine has never left me bored, and I've owned it for almost 2 years now. Clutching up is effortless, and a simple 1-2 gear pull with enough weight on the back of your seat will pop the front end up nice and smooth-like *in stock form*. I would highly recommend this bike to anybody period.

I have a 2015 fz07 tuned, quick shifter, and full exhaust. Fantastic little bikes. It's got almost 8k miles on it. Only thing it's ever needed were tires and oil changes. If anyone is looking for an awesome starter bike, look no further. Just be wary of 1st and 2nd gear. My buddy had one too. Pinned it in 2nd gear and it flipped out from underneath him.
This was the bike I had on my driving school. An older model of course, but it's such a good bike to learn on. Very nimble, as you say, and easy to ride. Watching this, really brings back memories. 🙂
I have an MT 07 with a full Akra Carbon exhaust.. I've always loved the inline-4 sound, but this parallel twin sounds fantastic. Due to the crossplane crank it sounds much better than the ninja 650 (and im a little bit of a kawasaki fanboy).

Revecho Rides probably one of the worst starter bikes is the MT09. Suspension is horrendously tuned and the power is way to snappy for anyone without some riding experience under there belt
Good review. I agree, if you're not total a beginner, the MT09 is the better choice. You get a lot bike for the money. Recently took the same route and I'm glad I did.
My very first bike was a 2018 MT-07 it was a amazing fun bike and learned so much and learned from my mistakes great starter bike. I just upgraded last month to a 2020 MT-10 it’s a monster.
I was damn close to pulling the trigger on a leftover ‘18 MT-10. But decided to go with the Ranger instead. Gotta work with the Sport Glide for a little more. Oh well. It’s a great combo bike. Great for distance (did a 3400 mile, 6 day trip last year and looking at a 6,500 miles 2 week trip this year if this virus ever goes away) and around town with the bags and batwing taken off
Thank you! My wife is finally on her Motorbike license, starting with her driving lessons as soon as corona lets her. We thought about the mt 07 as her beginner bike for the first one of two years, Untill the New sporster generation is out.

The sound of an inline was never very appealing to me.. except the new Triumph Tiger, which changed the firing order to make it sound a bit more lumpy. I'd go with the MT07 simply for the pleasing note of a parallel twin. Thinking of picking two of these up for my wife and I since all our machines are dirt biased

I think it depends on who you are as a new rider. If you feel confident balancing the weight, know how to drive a manual transmission car, have taken a riding course and have the brains to not get cocky within the first couple thousand miles than the 07 will probably serve you well.
