Thx for the vid, I have been really looking for an english review and you are the first one that I found. It is so nice that you did not start with the looks of the bike like 99% or reviewers do. I have my own two eyes and don't need to be told how the bike looks. The one thing that you did not mention at all is the suspension. To me that is at the very top of bike's qualities and both reviewers as well as manufacturers (especially on "entry" models) treat it as an afterthought almost. The old 07 had pogo stick for the fork and super cheap, throw away shock. Simple oil level adjustment and higher oil weight plus shorter pre load collar in the fork solved 80% of the problem. Yamaha could not do that for the past 8 years? The other small point or a different way of looking at that Euro 5, it actually is some bureaucratic way to get rid of all internal combustion engines sooner than we would like. What is the pollution foot print of a 700cc bike or for that matter 250cc? The continuous push of the bureaucracy is producing more and more complicated and therefore less reliable and efficient machines. Just saw review of the new Hayabusa.....decreased milage by 20% or so to make it compliant? There is a point of diminishing returns and we are here. Just a thought. Thx for the vid.
It's weird, but your review was much more informative than those by 'professional' magazine reviewers. You gave unique information and talked about points, that are important to me, as a rider. Honestly, I'm impressed :) Thank you
I love how you evolve your channel, every video you make is a wonder to watch. Your passion for bikes is an inspiration to me. I can only dream to experience bikes in the way you do. 🤘 Keep up the good work! Cheers from Sweden 😎
Great video !!!!! Great Tester!!!!! I had a MT-07 with full HyperPro suspension, Power Commander, AutoTune, Full IXIL exhaust, Driven chain n sprocket conversion ( 5+ on the rear sprocket n down in chain size). Yeah so basically the best one ever made in 2015 in white. It was the best bike I ever had maybe, definitely the best for where I live. Where do you live out quick, at the tail of the Dragon 🐉 over here in America 🇱🇷 we got 318 turns in 11.6 miles with no side roads and they clean the road off just for us riders it 👑👑👑 10 year local rider. But to be honest with you I'm a huge Suzuki fan boy I just think they're more dependable motorcycles but Yamaha is definitely my number to pick.
If you have any questions or doubts please refer to my UA-cam channel and subscribe would be nice but all the videos are there and the proof is in the pudding 10 years right in the heart of the mountains
If you are not racing motorcycles this year, would you consider doing a tour of your beautiful country on a motorbike? I love the motovlog content! Your channel is amazing
I have a 2020 mt07, it is my baby and I lot it love it love it to death, it's lighthearted and fun. Not a scary engine and it has definately prepared me for bigger bikes
I wish they would have changed the suspension and the rear looks. It just looks the same. The most popular bike in its category and seems like they have not even tried to change much. I own a previous version and was thinking if they did a good job will switch to the new one. Such a fun bike to ride. Now thinking to go for the cb or the trident. .
Glad to see you back in the saddle again Alberto. Good to see the healing is going well. Looks like maybe someone got a new Dainese jacket for Xmas maybe :-). Good luck with your riding season.
Love my SV650 for its character and old school feel, but I’ve always liked the MT07 as well. The deals you can get the SV for are just too tempting though.
me gusta este nuevo formato, estaria genial que probaras motos antiguas tambien, me interesan mucho las motos de los años 90`s (la era dorada de las motos deportivas de calle)
Really love that bike, I want a MT since they came out, but here in Argentina a MT-03 is from 8000 to 12000 US$ T_T So... yeah, the MT-07 starts at US$ 18000 -_-
@@mosca3289 It is. I know about a "luxury tax" that's aplies over all bikes that have more than 250cc (so the only "250" I know it's not in that list is the XR 250 Tornado 'cause is in fact 249cc) but it's more a market issue in general here. Electronics are twice or more expensive than MSRP (not only now that there is little stock). So, I still ride my Yamaha SZ15RR until end of times ;'P
Hi Alberto saludos from USA.. I'd like to say nice videos incredible history of yours!!. Question what's the name of the jacket I know is Dainese but does it have other name.. Thanks Alberto
I just saw your video due to the Dainese Racing 3 Jacket you wear and I want to buy, because the new MT07 is a piece of shame and Yamaha just change the headlight and call it innovation!
Stuck between the 2021 MT07 & MT09, it will be my second bike (R6) and my daily commuter with some fun on The Weeknd’s! Is it worth getting the 07 to save a little money or get the 09?
Hey Alberto Hope you are doing great and I like your videos. Hope your Racebike season can soon start again :) I have a small question maybe you can help me. Right now I'm on a ZX-6R 636 2014 and thinking about going to a Yamaha R1 2020 for race use only. I'm on track since around 5 years or so and I would like to have the R1 but I'm not 100% sure how smart the upgrade is. Do you have anykind of input?
Aren't these pretty much just the YZF-R* bikes with the naked treatment? Looking at the specs, the 2 models are almost identical except for the transmission.
Yeah, pretty much every manufacturer has a naked and faired version of the same bike. They do change things slightly though, like bar height, peg height, gearing and the power band
What happened Albertooo!? You were saying "riding motocyle on the street is dangrous and I'm not riding on the public road" .You got a courage pill ? :))))
Don't ever hammer the throttle at low rpm in high gear. It hammers on connecting rods and bearings. There is literally no situation in where this would ever been necessary.

The first Yamaha MT was 2005 with the MT-01. Checks
And I had a 2007 MT-03 660cc, the MT series has been around for a long time
Can’t even give basic info on a bike.

It's very weird to see you driving on the street lol, I'm so used to watching you on track.
I saw this same video on your Italian channel coz just wanna give your like even though I don't know Italian in the end Good fun video though
MT-07 is great! It was my first bike (2016), then I bought R6 ;) I love your channel! Best wishes for the future...
Did you compare this with the 03? Any thoughts on why this is more fun?

GREAT video Alberto. Informative & interesting even though I'm a major KTM fan 😎✌
Is the suspension any better from the last model?
I really dont understand why you dont have more subscribers on this channel
I like it but I wish they refreshed the colors a little at least.
is the fork rebound and damping problem solved in the new mt07 ? was pretty unstable in the previous mt07
buy an aftermarket suspension
Loved this! Me and my buddy watched this because we can’t ride because of too much snow!
Love from India ❤
Keep doing bike reviews
Great video. Nice to see you riding 😊
You should make a video about the MT10 comparing with the R1
I like the update, looks very tidy
3:01 Smart Value ? MT-07 is almost estimated to launch around at ₹8,00,000 in India which I'd around $11,000
It’s cheaper in the American & European markets sadly
Damn, in the US it starts at $7699. Not a small amount of money, but certainly a big difference.
