I live near the cave where the guy died. They spent days trying to get him out but they couldn't. They sealed him in the cave and there is a memorial there. Really sad. I've been there a couple times but I've never been in the narrows. They actually almost got him out before he fell into the deeper crevice of the cave. Normally those places are really safe, and they have signs everywhere telling you "If you barely fit through the enternece, you won't fit through the exit." It's sad that someone had to die for people to take the warnings seriously.
I started feeling claustrophobic at my desk.
I cant imagine what he went through. Thats a story that is equally sad and terrifying.

Like all my muscles tensed up during this story. I just hope I don't get nightmares now. One of the scariest things I can imagine. You'll never catch me anywhere near a place like where he was exploring.
At least he got to talk to his family before he died... So sad he stayed there 😔

As an intensely claustrophobic person, that cave story is literally my worst nightmare.
There was a guy who was running away from the police & got stuck in a sewer with his arm behind him & then rats ate through his face & eyes while he was alive, he didn't die until they got to his brain & then they proceeded to eat their way to the other side.
Alone & fucked whether you're found or not / Darkness / Bad smells / Trapped in most vulnerable position / Being tortured slowly by things in the dark right in front of you.

Yes. It was proven to be fake. The other two accounts were basically a few hours old when they made that post so it was probably one guy just messing around.

I could barely watch that bit.. something about dying like that absolutely terrifies me sends shivers up my spine. Being trapped upside down fuckibg hell. No.. just nope. Feel so bad for that guy.

Yeah, that was easily one of the most horrifying stories I've ever heard. Mostly because it's so relatable, if you've ever hung upside down off a bed or something you know how quickly it becomes extremely uncomfortable. To be trapped in that position for that length of time with the pressuring just growing and growing, knowing that it will eventually kill you... fuck. If I were him I probably would've tried to bash my head against the wall to see if I could at least speed up the process (or be unconscious for it) and if that failed just ask the rescuers to shoot me, so I guess maybe just try that if you ever find yourself in that situation for some reason?

I could never go caving. I'm not claustrophobic at all but when youre actually under the ground its like you can sense the weight above you. And that's scary. But once you get into a small place and you realize where you're at and what could go wrong its too scary for me. I dont even panic in extreme situations but I shut down. If I was John i would have just died of a heart attack.
Breanna Thompson if been caving on a couple of very very beginner caves, full safety equipment, lights, a full party and an easy open cave. But the threat is real a nagging that you could die. This came weirdly close when I fell into a pool of water that was around1.5 to 2 meters deep, the rocks were to slippery to get my self out and I was only tall enough to breath if I stood on a tiny lip in the pool. Thankfully the full party thing came in handy but it was a scary experience, although caves are beautiful and if seen some cool shit while under but when I heard Johns story I was so grief stricken and terrified.
I know this is an old comment but.. I went caving ONCE with my science class in high school.. There was a moment during the tour that we had to army crawl through a space (like... Lift your head slightly and it's hitting the top of the passage) and I can confidently say- NEVER AGAIN

I had heard about the cave story before seeing this video, and when Lazy asked what's the scariest way to die I immediately thought about that story. So sad and terrifying.
As soon as he said nutty putty cave I knew exactly what he was talking about. I skipped it. That story makes me physically ill.
Actually, after almost two years being your loyal subscriber, the caving story was the first one that had made my heart pound loudly and which pulled some kind of plug that made me lose my shit. Neither I am claustrofobic, nor I like wide open fields, but being trapped in some tight hole (pun intended) in the ground is something really scary for me.

Same, a hundred percent... I enjoy the stories and I can put myself in the position of the people narrating them and have some sympathy, but I never actually feel anything. This is the only story that has truly impacted me.
Yeah, that made me say "shiit". And I watch movies like "Human Centipede 2" or "A Serbian Film" like watching a cartoon. I guess this is the real horror we can actually relate.

boy lemme tell you, I got horrified by that damn doorbell picture. If someone was doing that to scare us, they did a fine job. Also, I feel so bad for the guy in the cave, that has to be one of the absolutely worst ways to go. Ripped out my heartstrings, that's how sad I am for him. That poor poor man.

With that logic you could say that those poor people who die in plane crashes and car accidents should’ve never gotten on the plane or in the car, that they played stupid games and won stupid prizes. It’s not your right to judge someone else’s choices, they chose to partake in the activity’s they did and they faced the possible consequences of doing so, there’s no reason to shame them in death.

And yeah I've done parachuting and abseiling, scuba diving and stuff, I wouldn't try and squeeze through a tiny ass tunnel that's obviously too narrow. I've seen pictures and diagrams of the part he got stuck in, bottom line is you'd have be a complete idiot to go in there, there's better ways to get an adrenaline buzz, squeezing into a rat hole like that is Darwin Award worthy.

Worst way I know somebody actually died:
Two guys had the wonderful idea to go swimming at night. The broke into an outdoor pool to do just that.
Problem was: they had dropped some Ecstasy and were not realizing, that there was no water in the pools.
The genius idea was to jump from the 10 meter/ (30 feet) tower. So the first guy jumped off and after a short moment the second guy heard a "splashh", like when you hit the water. Without looking ones he jumped too, but feet-first and not head-first like his friend. After seconds he hit not the water, but the concrete ground of the pool.
Tragically this did not kill him instantly and he had to suffer hours of dying and did not black out, because he was still high on mdma. His friend died on impact; the noise was his head hitting the concrete and splattering because of the force.
Knowing how people feel on a very bad mdma-trip, this story really gives me goosebumps and I don't even want to think, how this situation must feel.

You don't have bad MDMA "Trips", It floods your brain with serotonin that makes you feel good and happy. So if this actually happened the second guy would have been in a lot of pain, but nowhere near as much if he wasn't high on MDMA. It's a good tool for dealing with trauma, it's easier to talk to people about things as it softens the impact of the stress and sadness that comes with it.

armyof 100clowns in the netherlands something similar happend,in valkenberg caves exists where you can get tours, however in another one is still being used as quarry, one day 2 boys skipped school and went into the caves to mess around bringing flashlights as well as matches with candles however because of the atmosphere in these caves they wouldnt ignite meaning once the flashlights ran out they were blind scrapping their fingers on the wall in a attempt to get a sense of direction, destroying their fingertips and drawing large lines of blood as result , one of them spend an entire day scrapping past the same 4 walls forming a square not realizing he was going in circles, the caves were closed down for like 4-5 days at the time so the collapsed and died from dehydration desperately trying to find their way out, honestly thats about just terrifying id lose my mind

Specially when rescue was at the tip of his fingers, sort of speak. At least he had a chance to say his goodbyes, still that is fuckin scary
I remember reading about the cave one. The saddest part was that things were looking good, until the guy slipped farther into the cave. After that, it was over. I don't even do spelunking or urban exploring and this terrifies me. I can add another one to that list- I remember reading about the case of Hisashi Ouchi, a man exposed to severe levels of radiation who was kept alive for 83 days as his skin peeled off and organs failed. Seriously not a story for the faint of heart.
I think the most horrifying thing about the cave accident is that the body still remains there. It gives me the creeps

That spelunking story always chills me to the core because in the 2015 I got myself stuck in a crevice like that when I was climbing boulders in the Peaks of Otter, I was at least positioned heads up instead, the local FD rescued me, & I only suffered early stage hypothermia but I just couldn't imagine being feet up in that position then having to be left behind because they tried everything.
I was only stuck for close to 8 hours & that was so traumatic that I developed Cleithrophobia now I can't be hugged for too long or or even be tightly wrapped in blankets or I'll have a PTSD moment from feeling trapped & restraint but this poor guy had to come to terms that he's going to die the thought of that just chills me to the core & I know his experience has to be much much worse than mine. I really hope he's finally at peace.

Sitting here painting an illustration while listening to these stories, I click over the tabs to see what the OP had found at there doorstep at 10:36 . And I must say that that picture was really unnerving to see, just clicking over and seeing that face right away like he was staring right at me. my eyes started to water, first time being super creeped out in a while.
John's story is the worst nightmare I could ever have.
I have a weird picture story, or I witnessed one anyway.
During my time working at a summer camp I had a friend who would teach a photography class and would have to take the SD cards from kids and download them to his computer. It was nearly the end of the camp week, and he was downloading the last pictures onto his computer quickly before we had to go to dinner. As he was looking through this kids pictures to pull out the camp related ones, I hear him say "Why is there a dead lady on my computer?" I jogged over to his cabin, and asked him what he meant. He showed me the pictures, with them being happy camp pic, happy camp pic, dead grandmother. For some damned reason, this kid had two pictures of his dead grandmother, stuffed (kinda badly) and inside of a coffin. ONE OF THE PICS WAS FROM AN ANGLE HE COULD ONLY GET FROM LEANING INSIDE OF THE FUGGIN COFFIN. It was just so strange, especially since before and after it it was random camp pics. Weirdest shit ever.

I'd say the nutty putty death is perhaps the not most horrifying. I remember reading a story of a person being decapitated by a car accident, and his friend described how his decapitated head looked confused, then twisted into an absolute face of horror as he saw his headless body. That's the last expression he ever made

That's how I thought of it. I'd already seen the video with the 6th entry on the list. Unfortunately, based on YT guidelines, Lazy was showing off stuff about Terrorism / promoting said terrorism (as I'd assume). It can't be shown. Either it "didn't happen" or we've to simply ignore that it'd ever occurred.
You can't even mention the name of the group apparently. It's quite a sorry state of affairs when you aren't allowed to simply retell an actual event.
That's unfortunate. Complete censorship of the event. It's interesting to read what he'd typed, though. I just find it neat to get into the mind of one individual of the group.

The sixth entry simply talked about how there was an AMA on Reddit, and the person that was doing the AMA was a member of the terrorist group, ISIS. He'd answered questions about how the terrorist group is and what they believe in, as well as what they want, and what they want to accomplish.
The video showed off some of his responses to the questions. At the end of the video, Lazy stated (which was also reported) that just a few days after the AMA, that member of the group was killed in an airstrike.
the one about the cave literally gave me a panic attack. I've very claustrophobic and I can't watch anything about closed in areas, mostly caves!!
