Yes! More Antaresia training to start the new yaer! I have a Stimson’s he’s an absolute dream. He’s super smart and really taking to target training.. he’s a little too shy to follow the target into places where he feels exposed but we’re working up to it.
I always enjoy watching Marcel training. Orochi-kun will be 2 in 2 months. He used to give me hard time because he kept biting me. At sometimes, I really thought about re-homing him, but I kept his training following Lori's training videos and choice based handling etc. Now he is much nicer boy, rarely bite me. I wonder that is because he is matured or the training that I learned from you. I believe its both, but training video did taught me a lot and in tern taught him to trust me more. So it worked for both of us. 🙂 Thank you Lori. I will keep watching your video.
I actually wish I had the exuberant feeding responses other people have with their children's pythons. Mine always rejects food when I hold it up to her or she will try to circle around it to get at my hand! She will only eat proper food if I leave it in her enclosure, but that keeps me from being able to train her not to try eating and constricting my hand. She's a project thats for sure!
We have several different types and brands of enclosures here. The one Macel is housed in is from focuscubedhabitats.com We also frequently use Blackbox Cages and Zen Habitats.
@@caitwn8548 😂🤣 a nod to Lori in a past video, I think she phrased it as Marcel Managed? I hear so many anecdotes from people keeping Antaresia about their Houdini moments and escapades; they have a lot of character. For me, they are a wonderful genus to keep 😁
Does anyone else’s children’s python bite their food and warp it, let go of it, and then starts smelling the rat all over its body instead of eating in right away. Don’t worry he does eat.
Ma'am, you are my hero. You are the first person I've found on UA-cam that does training with reptiles. Thank you!!!!
Watch more channels bro. This isn’t anything new.

Wow, he did so well!

You can feed her in her enclosure on a training target disc and progress from there. I have some videos about how to work with snakes this way.
I notice that my Children’s gets very excited after a training repition/feeding. She will strike at anything for a little while after a session.
Really? Both of mine are calmer following their training sessions.
Where do you get your pvc enclosures from?

Mischief managed 😉
Haha - I think you just provided the title for Antaresia keeping in general!

Lots of snakes do that.
