I've been to my physio twice now and learned initially how to do shoulder CARs, then hip, elbow, scapula, knee, ankle, etc.. Have been doing the shoulder ones for several weeks and the others started more recently. AMAZINGLY beneficial for old stiff joints if you take it seriously and do it everyday!
Thanks. This video really gave me an example to go off of of how to actually move. omg. I have movement inconsistencies from years of school and not being active enough.

Hi I am an Osteopath and new to C.A.R.s and I would love to incorportating this into my patients treatment plan. I treat quite a few seniors whose mobility is very poor due to either never exercised/ceased exercise in the thirties. How do you start to implement such a programme to patients in their sixties plus. Thanks
Absolutely understand. There is a level of mastery you need for regressions with these especially. We made an entire course perfect for you. Here is the link markowtrainingsystems.thinkific.com/courses/mobility-coach-plus
do the routine linked below and any of the others in the full routine pain free for 2 weeks then email me ianmarkow@gmail.com ua-cam.com/video/J1qhikYQqGM/v-deo.html
I'm just diving deeper and deeper into FCR, DNS, CARs, RAILS, PAILS, slowly getting lost in acronyms ;) I was thinking of getting my 65 year old dad hooked on the above routine. Would you say it is more or less safe for seniors or would it be better to consult a physician beforehand? It's just movement within a range of motion and no additional weight load so I presume it should be fine, but better to make sure.
Hey it is impossible to say anything concrete without assessing someone. Here is a beginner routine that fits what you are asking about. Check this out and let me know what you think ua-cam.com/video/J1qhikYQqGM/v-deo.html

Hello Ian. If you could clarify on this please ? RAILs are isometric muscle contractions that strengthen the muscles on the closing side of the joint. What does it mean by CLOSING SIDE OF JOINT. Suppose i want to target hip adductors, so for Rails in an adductor stretch, i have to isometrically contract abductors ? Is that so ? Thank you.

I think side bending would be a progression in neck/ tpine cars
Lateral flexion or side bending is definitely an option.
My right side is tight while doing the spine or thoracic cars. Any suggestions on how to loosen it.
