Just took a look at Breitling and Tudor. They do in fact call their moments Manufacure not in-house. Nothing strange here. Are we calling out BMW for not developing every screw in their engines themselves? Pure clickbait video. Wth does in-house even mean? It's not a clearly defined term anyway.

That’s why you should just buy a Grand Seiko/Seiko

We need to embrace the reality that we are living in the era of watchmaker conglomerates. There's absolutely nothing wrong with brands within the Swatch Group using ETA movements; after all, they are all part of the same family. Some brands may be more luxurious than others, but ultimately, they share the same parent company. It's similar to Audi using a VW engine or Lincoln using a Ford engine. It's perfectly acceptable and a common practice in many industries, if ETA did a new HAQ movement to take on the Seiko 9F and they put it in a Longines I would LOVE that! I don't think it is a travesty at all.

In house movements mean nothing, an eta is like a BMW engine, tough reliable and will last,

Kenissi is right next door to Tudor and the building is even shaped in the same way as Tudor’s. The MT56xx calibers are based on the Rolex 31xx design if I’m not mistaken.

nothing new. it has always been like that. Richemont sharing the Jaeger movement is clear. And as you said it's the watchmakers watchmaker. And everyone knows about the Tudor movements! I guess you are right it's clickbait. Until the quarry crises that was usual. Even for Rolex and Patek.

Yep, I like researching the watch before I even decide to look at it in person. Oris and Guinand are very transparent about their movements on their websites for example.
