When I click 'Add Present' under the 3D tab in Network Configuration, nothing happens. Both MA2 & MA3D have the same IP address, but they don't seem to be talking to each other. And it won't even let me input the IP address manually in the 3D tab in Network Configuration. Is there something I missed? I'm using v3.3.2.2.
Nevermind, apparently for some reason it only works when I use the local 127.0.0.1 IP address for both.
Now they both won't stay on the loop back
After trying for 2 hours... from manual: The software version of the MA 3D and the console/onPC needs to be the same. MA 3D v.3.0.0.5 fits to grandMA2 console or onPC version 3.0.0. Important are the first 3 numbers. If you have different version numbers, there is no connection possible.

Hey Christian, I am trying as hard as I can to get the 3D and MA2 on PC to connect and no avail. At this point i Just want to give up on MA completely and us whats been working for me... I guess MA is just not meant to work for me....

Hey Christian, I was wondering if you were ever planning on doing that RZ mix or review, if you do is it possible for you to maybe put a cdj on the side? Because I was planning on getting an RZ and maybe getting a CDJ 2000 NXS 2 aswell. I would just love to see how they work together!

I got them connected but my show file doesn’t show up on MA 3D. All of my lights are in the middle of the room and on the ground, nothing changes. I’m pulling my fucking hair out trying to get this god damn visualizer working.

Could you please give me a helping hand with the 3D? The session is properly connected, I've patched my fixtures but only some of them are visible in stage view and 3D. Is there something that I'm missing in patching? I've created the fixtures myself because I could't find them in the library.

the same happened to me, till I used the loopback IP 127.0.0.1 and then i suddenly worked fine!
Ok mine says master 1? And it lets me to threw your process, shows ip address but isn't allowing me to add

Hey Christian, I have a question. I followed all the instructions in this video, but when I go to my network config tab, under 3D, the version says 3.2.2.3 in red. My MA3D version is 3.1.2- Im not able to connect 3D to OnPC and i think that is the issue. Any suggestions?
yes, you need to have the same streaming version to be able to communicate.
+Christian Jackson how do I set them to have the same streaming version? I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of 3D.
Same problem here... how did you fix it? Where do I change in to the streaming version?
I can "add present" but it will not lights up green the hostname and 3D says "standalone" but see the session on session tap. Anyone know what happend?
Did you try right click on session member and choose yes? usually it taks a little bit and then it turns green and then it starts to sincronize.
