We launched the Freshwell Low Carb Project because we wanted our patients have FREE access to tools to help them adopt a low carb lifestyle. Five years later, we’ve developed an accredited structured educational programme that consists of a website, four meal planner books and an app which has been downloaded over 100,000 times. Our resources are signposted to patients by health care practitioners all over the UK.
It has taken a lot of time and work from ourselves and a developer team. This work has been self-funded so far, but we are no longer in a position to continue to self-fund it any more. We feel really strongly that people should have access to credible low carb resources that completely FREE, to help them improve their health. But ultimately, to continue this work, keep the project up and running and expand it, whilst keeping it free, we now need funds.
Where your donation will go:
We won’t be using any of the donated money for personal income. All funds raised will go into development, maintenance, server/IT running costs and to add new features and content to the Freshwell Low Carb Project app and website.
