I realize there are issues with the bin site, and wet corn, and late nights, but ya know, if I had a chance I would love to do what you do. You always have something to do, it has a purpose, and you are the master of your domain. And you have the greatest office. Take care and thanks.
We appreciate ALL your hard work, to keep us fed. God bless you farmers. 🇺🇸👍
Daddy cornstar, also remember the data center tech workers that are working 24/7 to keep websites like UA-cam online.
I worked in a data center for 15 years, in 2006 I was right next to UA-cam in the data center when they were just starting.
I appreciate you, DC. I'm a night owl. Many times, I'm awake when the sun comes up. It was sweet of Momma Cornstar to come and visit you. I also love to see all the sunsets y'all share on your videos. My home here in Tennessee is surrounded by trees, so I don't see the sunsets much. Sometimes, I'll drive down to the Mississippi River to see a great sunset.
DC we appreciate your hard work get some rest when you can I said a prayer for you God bless brother
You're the dryer wizard for the farm, DC! Long, long days for you and the rest of the harvest crew right now, but pretty soon all the corn will be out of the field, hooray! I'm sure you'll be overjoyed when the bin site issues get resolved, and you can manage harvest and the dryer the way you want to. Hang in there, Cornstars. Stay safe and well. All the best to you and your family from here in Summerville SC! ❤🚜 🌽 ❤
When I get them cramps in them, legs in my sleep, it’s due to not drinking enough water, so I take magnesium pills and that helps
Hey DC! Praying you get through harvest soon! Here is my favorite Fall Farm Poem. Sorry I don’t know who
penned it:
Bare were the limbs on all the trees
The meadow was unfrocked
The hills lay naked in the breeze
No wonder the corn was shocked!
I hope you have a good day!
Corn & beans are what pays the bills, We're losing money every time it spills, Elly the snack sneaker & Eddy the crumb picker, Make Daddy Cornstar's heart grow thicker & thicker, What a beautiful love that was born in a manger, Accept Him today & don't be a stranger, The shoe's on the other foot, Where the boot kicks out danger, Daddy Cornstar and Heinz is an old Cornstar ranger!
Thanks for explaining the details of the corn dryer! Love what you do! My Dad and brother farmed until the passion! So glad I was raised in SD on a farm!
@@unchained20000000 Speaking of Heinz, I don't eat ketchup or pickles, but for those who do, I heard that Heinz Is launching pickle-flavored ketchup in 2024.
I love seeing Grandma Judy! She looks great! Hang in there DC!
You are doing this country and UA-cam a great service DC. Not all heroes wear uniforms.
Daddy cornstar your doing a great job raising your son's be proud God bless❤😊😊😊😊

“No rest for the weary!” ( A Corn- ie application). Hang in there DC 🙌🏼😍
Midnight factory worker been doing it for 26 yrs 7 days a week 3 kids and never miss a thing, God first then my family love the videos cause you can tell your a God fearing family… God bless you and this great country today is the Marine Corp birthday
I just love seeing Grandma Judy with you guys!. We live in Texas, but right now we're visiting family in Ohio. I'm watching the farmers across the street from the house harvest and realizing.. hey..I actually understand what I'm seeing!! And then I was driving down the road seeing the corn stalks left over and thought... these guys are using that teeny combine and don't have devastators for these corn stalks! They will have to real disk those in the spring time before they plant.. haha!! I guess i learned a few things watching y'all. Hang in there with the dryer situation. Slow and steady as she goes will be the order of the day.
Cramps could be a sign of low magnesium.
Dates or really good for magnesium potassium and your heart.
@Lisa-xy4nm Agree with you about the magnesium!
It's true about dates, look it up.
@@Lisa-xy4nm Yes I think I remember hearing some good things about them...I try to stay on a really low carb diet these days (not always successful, but for the most part though), and I think dates may have too much sugar for me. I'll look it up later to see...thanks for the tip. 👍❤
I think Ellie needs her own dog fridge of stuff there to eat
D.C. is on the Ellie diet program whether he knows it or not..😅
Drink more water or cramping will.get you
Thank you and all farmers for what you do to take care of our world. Love harvest but hope you get some solid rest soon. Sweet dreams Daddy CornStar.
That just how the universe rolls in forever motion, it’s on us to better our situation. I run a business w/ my family also, never had to work anywhere else really.
Thanks Daddy Cornstar I still like watching you and how hard you guys work? Bringing in the corn and he’ll let you guys work. Thanks for sharing.
I admire your spirit
Take time to get some rest . Tomorrow will be a better day and one day closer to the end of harvest.
You are doing great Daddy Cornstar! Keep up the good work. I have had a very busy week too. I am raising my 13 year old son and I am a disabled veteran. Hopefully that bin site will get fixed soon. 🙏🏼
Native American Indian here and I want to know what makes America's heart beat looks like. Your show is America 🤠🫡😎
Daddy & the pup friends for life.
It's always the older guys that has to stay up late and stay working half of the night. Keep up the good work young man. I think I have a few years on you.
Love Grandma❤
I think she could handle an 18 Wheeler.
Nice video Daddy Cornstar. Better be careful out there late at night working by yourself. It looks like you have everything under control though. Be safe and we will catch you on the next one. Thanks for sharing.
Y’all work so hard! I remember some of this from when I was younger, things have changed so much for harvesting!! 😊❤
Happy Thursday eve DC.
Thanks for the corn dryer updates.
Love you Daddy Cornstar!!!
Don’t work too hard and stay healthy! Let those sons of your take those midnight shifts!❤❤❤
I love how the whole family is so relatable and close together.
"As busy as a farmer at harvest" ought to be a saying. I hope you can find some time to rest D.C.
Yes, We appreciate you night workers! God bless you, and keep you safe!!
DC ur killing it. Excellent job with the dryer. I know it’s not easy
We thank you. Get some good rest.

Keep your head up DC, and let Little Elly know we love her! 😊
You’re a trooper Daddy Cornstar! Leaving an extraordinary legacy for your children and grandchildren!!❤️🩹🎈
once again great watching daddycorn star God Bless u an family
I love your channel, it has less technical content and more farming life. I like watching farming. I used to farm, and some of the reasons why I do not farm anymore are allergies to the crops. Massive changes in diet.
Thanks for what you do and thanks for entertaining us out here! 👌🏼
Glad you love Momma Cornstar enough to brush your teeth. I am sure she appreciated it.
We love watching you, thanks Daddy Cornstar
Thanks to you, your family and all farmers for the hard work and tremendous effort to keep the rest of us going. Enjoy your videos!
DC I'm thinking considering your age, periodic electrolyte imbalance and, lack of sleep, when you get all this corn in a bin; I would advise you to see a cardiologist, get a base line make sure you can be around for your family way longer than you think you want.
Thank you for taking the time to create them.
I like the swap between your channel and Cole’s - it’s neat to see the different perspectives on the same events. Thanks for adding the weight of camera equipment to your hard working family.
Thank you for your videos. As a city boy I never did know what a farmer goes through
Love the video! Keep them coming.
So appreciate you farmers. Your all incredible ❤
😂 thanks for making the ravioli....I mean videos 📸📸📸... hopefully that made you laugh 🤣😂🤣😂...JJ..😊
thanks for taking us along for the ride. you, Cooper & Cole do an amazing job!!!!
Love watching you and Corn! Great to gain knowledge on something I never really knew all this stuff about farmers and farming. Thank you for all you do. We all appreciate you and the family farm greatly.
I was a shift worker for 38 years. I always hated doing repair work at night, or unplugging conveyors, it was usually cold, windy, and not enough light.
Thank you DC! God bless your family!
I love watching the cornstar videos..they are awesome..thank you!
Hi Daddy Cornstar, I grew up following my grandfather around on his farm and I learned so much from him. He was like a father to me and I miss him so much! You remind me so much of him with your integrity and your sense of humor. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. It truly takes me back. Would you mind sharing with me what cruise line you and Mama Cornstar went on. I'm trying to convince my husband for him and I to go on an Alaskan cruise next year. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again and God Bless all of the Cornstar family!
Thanks for the video!
❤ DC, for you to be anything than less than your happy, optimistic self, you know it’s a bad day or time. I’m honestly sorry for all the disappointment, aggravation, extra work and cost to you with the bin site and equipment failures. I do know you roll thru it and learn. I have learned so much from you about the farmer and a farming family, the work and the family bond. Thank you for sharing all of it! Love seeing your mom! Thanks Summer for another great video! Miss seeing you and MC, she makes me laugh usually! Love, peace and prayers to all! ❤✌🏼🙏
Thanks for another awesome video DC, I very much look forward for them. Working super late stinks but then to turn around to start early in the morning would not be ideal for me. LOL Im a factory worker and I chuckle when Im ripping plywood at 5am thinking of how many people are still sleeping.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us Both good and bad.
Hey DC. Rev. Paul, Eustis Florida. DC
I spoken with Cole, Zach millennial farmer, Chet Larson farms, and other LRG corn growers. About selling the bees wings, corn residue off dryers, bins, & belts. Bagging it to sell to homesteaders for fowl, animal feed, cheaper than pig, chicken, duck, other fowls, or animal’s. Greatly cheaper to by & sell by the 50 to 100 lbs bags, plus 1 ton totes. Else it go to waste in BM landfills.
Just keep swimming! Hoping you get through harvest with no big issues! You are working so hard!
Get some rest DC we love your video safety is number 1 and when your tired bad things can happen praying for your safety DC
I think you are going to need to sleep for two days once all the corn is in the bins.
Do you have fittings to check the propane supply pressure drop between the tanks and the dryer valves. That might be your insufficient heat issue.
Save some scrap corn to do testing with if possible.
I hope you pulled the supply tubing thru a bigger plastic tube making it easier to increase the tubing size.
Thanks and GOD BLESS 😀
Yep
Great video DC. Thank you buddy
Love watching your daily work, u make me laugh.... seriously your family works so hard...always a problem. They better fix that unsafe/poor working bin site. You need big compensation SOON. Not fair
Thanks for sharing
Such a hard worker ❤
you sure look whooped DC thanks for sharing all of the days of your life .what would be better then a Thursday night and Daddy Cornstar watching from Moosecreek Ontario Canada
Farming is a hard job. I use to spread pig manure on fields north and east of Iowa Fall for a guy. 16+ hrs a day. I respect each one of you.
We appreciate you D C . Don't let them boys run you in the ground. Let cole babysit the dryer so you can go home.
Hes young and the physical man let him burn the midnight oil. Take care D C and get some much needed sleep.
And most of all STAY SAFE !!!
Prayers ,hope the rest of the corn will be dryer .
A big hello from a small town Thurles in Ireland 🇮🇪 Hello DC

Keep it going. .

To bad we didnt get to see mama cornstar Hard work will pay off Stay safe !!!!!!
God Bless Daddy Cornstar
Ellie may need her own food bowl in the shack. Just for a small snack. Too
Thank God for farmers
Keep up the hard work!
2 or 3 shakes from a salt shaker gets rid of leg cramp in a couple minutes.
I switched now, I let my son run dryers and trucks and ive got the easy job setting in the combine. Think about it, the way it should be.
DC if you are having leg cramps you might want to start using Magnesium Citrate. Most people are low on magnesium so its a good idea to take a suppliment.
Love your videos, Daddy Cornstar
I heard Cole talking about lifting your uncle up into the combine with the skid loader for a ride along, reminded me of something. One of the guys I used to work for installed an elevator on his combine to lift his dad up into it so that he could run it during harvest. It mounted right next to the ladder and only took up minimal room. Just pedestal for him to stand on with a few bars on each side to hang onto and it would lift him right up to the cab. I believe it was 12 volt operated with a couple push buttons for up and down, worked great for them. Might not be feasible for your situation but thought I’d mention it anyway. Good luck with the rest of harvest! 👍
Hope you can get the bin situation resolved soon.
Thank you for sharing your experiences 😊How are Jay and Summer? Miss seeing them 😊
Daddy Cornstar - this winter you and Cole need to work on getting a new dryer, this one is past it's days in your setup, you can't stay up long enough to keep it running - you need your sleep!!!! ;)
❤❤❤ have a great rest dc!
DC get some safety glasses that have foam between the lenses and your face. There’s no prescription but are great keeping the Beeswings out. The frost you see on the gas tube means the tube is too small, I’ve wrapped the tube with heat tape, seams to help. The frost you see on the outside is also on the inside of the tube, which throttles the gas which prevents, getting enough gas to maintain temperature. I’d recommend at least 3/4” pipes.
Seriously u need electric traps on those trailers. That breaker bar setup is long for this world. Changed both ours a few years ago. Best investment I’ve made for a long time
