Speaking of a second hand: When I was young and a rookie, I was trying to lift something, I yelled, could someone give me a hand? Everyone stood up and started applauding.

Daddy Cornstar, you are a very busy man this morning. It’s nice what you do digging graves for the folks around you there. You be careful out there and stay safe. If you have to cling those silos see if you can talk Cole or Cooper into do that for you he he. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Love to spend the day (s) tagging along with you. Always have something to talk about. Now we know where Cole gets his gift of gab. Cooper seems more quiet. Is he always that quiet, or just with a camera in his face? I don't think I could talk with a camera, but I can chat with the best of them. The cemeteries you dig for are so well kept. Our cemetery is like a full motion water bed. Up and down, lumpy, bumpy, headstones falling over or vandalized, and the grass is poorly kept. It's very old, pre civil war. It looks okay on holidays. How do you guys know all the equipment and how to use, when to use it. I suppose when you grow up with them, it's no big deal. My Dad and I used to drive back and forth from Warren County to Waterloo/Cedar Falls. We loved looking at beautiful farms. Yours would be one on the list. We would use them as landmarks. It got cold fast! But, at least it wasn't from AC to heat... that's happened a lot here in Iowa. ❤😊

DC pro tip. You don't get heat til the engine warm. So turning heat on right away is keeping your engine cooler longer. Rather than letting it heat up then turning heat on

It's hard to adjust to the onset of winter, here in Ontario, Canada we know about the cold weather. Funny how once spring comes, and we experience the same type of weather we run around with less layers of clothing on... we're climatized to it.
Like your videos DC, keep 'em coming.❤

Saw Coles video on heated shed. That is an electrical mess. If shed burns down, will insurance pay for the equipment inside. Probably not if faulty wiring. Nothing wrong paying an electrician to double check everything. Love the videos, just hate to see you all lose what you worked hard for. I’m a farmer, volunteer firefighter, and former insurance agent.

You know we do here, we don't bury our love ones till the spring, we put them in a big vault till then., what is becoming big here is cremations there cheaper, most people don't even have a service at the funeral parlour or churches, most times in the spring, they have a little get together and have something to eat.

D.C. between the colder weather and daylight savings winter sucks. Yes I think legally you need to write hole on the board and it needs to be able to support like 400 pounds. I think you need a board the same size of the hole screwed to the bottom of the top board so it can't shift if kicked.
