PokeaimMd and Cybertron in Pokemon. Liam in Mario 64 speedrunning. You think when I tune into Oneyplays or watch Yahtzee, or Angryjoe im like "damn.... why dont they look like me?". Instead of creating drama and causing issues in the community, maybe these small creators should be grinding on content that’s provided and trying to collab with bigger creators. I’ve subbed to tons of smaller creators and some fall off, but the others will take years to build a following and one day they explode.

If you're gonna be a content creator stay offline and only create. Your originality will make or break you. Don't drop content just for money or clout. Not everyone but most viewers can tell when you're being fake and performing for content. If you got more time then money stream 2hrs a day! Make a TikTok and upload two short clips a day. DO NOT and I mean DO NOT follow any other creator until you've built your community. Don't rely on others at all during the first few months. Use a camera people like seeing you. Everytime you play the game you should be streaming and interactiving with chat. Starting out you should be engaging with everyone in chat and/or comment section. Viewerships is gonna be low starting out so you should be able to respond to at least 50 people. Don't bot.Botting will ruin your channel it is a very short term solution to low views! To receive more views and to get placed within the algorithm. It is specifically important that you create orginal and new thumbnails! Make them stabd out! Being a copycat will only hurt your channel after a while. Make sure titles are catching. Dont be basic and label every video Ex: "Dragon ball sparking playthrough Part whatever". The title and thumbnails needs to catch like a hook on a song. Don't click bait... I shouldnt have to explain that one. If you get stuck or your channel is growing to slow. And i mean relative to how long youve been streaming so like a 1 hear in and you're stuck on 500 subs. Start tricking the algorithm the safe and right way. Premiere videos,get your community to engage more. I.e. like,commenting abd sharing your content on different platforms, video clipping... This ones a gold mine because UA-cam Shorts is a great way to reach out to viewser that may have never come across your page. So utilizing shorts will be to your benefit in the algorithm as well! Don't start drama with smaller or bigger creators. If you're struggling editing videos watch tutorials and use AI for new techniques. Also the DB community (this is my personal opinion) is kinda filled with dweebs and I mean that in a style and energy sense. (We all just DB geeks tbh) but not everyone has that energy. Also I mean that in an endearing sense. DB community is great and very kind! Capitalize on that though. Especially if your someone that hasn't been into Dragon Ball for that long. A lot of what you said, are patterns I started to notice from creators. Branching outside of just UA-cam videos and making clips more digestible for other platforms like Tik Tok and announcing Videos dropping on other socials. Building and engaging with the community is super important.
I feel you on that “friends showing you your own content” For me it’s people following me on every platform and DMing videos saying how much they like my content and reciting my intros. It shows me that it’s deeper than just the video game I play or the drama I talk about, but my original perspective is what they’re enjoying. Tbh I get both sides For small creators, many are looking to expand their channel's growth via Sparking Zero, and with all the bigger UA-camrs getting more footage and showing a lot of the game before release But at the same time, this is all a marketing effort by Bandai to get ppl even more hype for the game, long-term.

I think the issue is not just that the big content creators got access early and are able to monopolize certain content. I think it’s also the context that many of the same bigger channels were virtue signaling about how Sparking Zero is time for small channels to eat just for them to eat whole plate this month. On top of the fact that their initial advice for small channels only worked for UA-cam back in the day and won’t do much for small channels today. If there was no “small channels” conversation before this early access to the game, I don’t think this current conversation would have ever happened
as someone making anime content though not on the reg. i already see the possibilities in the game, if you cant imagine some funny or cool things to do with it by now, you wouldnt know what to do with it if given a chance early ( the people saying stuff )
It's def weird to be able to have that much content out before the game comes out. Personally, I have been trying away from spoilers so I can enjoy it more. The first hand experience is the best experience.

Yeah if people have been making content for 10 plus years unfortunately, they will most likely have a bigger fan base that should make sense. I understand being frustrated but some of the older content creators are also leaving the platform and retiring too.
1.) UA-cam or social media is just yapping with confidence game. When you won’t shut up, you naturally gain attention, and if you manage to yap about something of value, you’ll succeed. I don’t even have 1,000 subs & had multiple mini-viral(50-100k+ views). 2.) Social Media is a business & nobody really owes you anything, but it’s important to not burn bridges when you can. 3.) Honestly, it’s just tough luck for anyone who didn’t get early footage. Get your street cred up so companies want to market through you too.
Those big creators were given that opportunity because Bandai wanted them to promote the game. If they don't post or talk about the game, they would lose that opportunity in the future.

They act like they aren't specifically picking larger creators so that they can advertise the game to a bigger audience. At a certain point, there's no point giving a code to someone who makes almost identical to Cory or Berlin, because there's so much overlap at that point.
I'm not ngl I can't think of many CalebCity skits that didn't hit I genuinely do not think that Caleb misses RDC on the other hand does skits on more specific types of things and relies on the group dynamic Caleb is more broad and can always make it work

It's so easy to not watch those videos though. I've seen quite a few Sparking Zero videos or posts on X and I ignore them because I've seen the official trailers and I got what I need.
They worked hard to get the connections and ins they got. Obviously if your smaller you wont have the same opportunitys right away. Dont think skin color got anything to do with it though.
Only thing about this I wanna say is that I don’t care that UA-camrs got it early, I care that they got it a whole month early. I think getting it a week or 2 would’ve been sufficient. Enough time to give previews on ideas they had and hype up the game, but also not enough time to be like “oh damn so we still waiting for a month why 🤔?”

If it were me, I'd even do some sneaky shit like reach out to Burcol to stage a Xenoverse beef because his channel is dead and we'd both need the engagement. Peak symbiosis. But no. Admittedly, I'm a little put off cause I keep seeing all these IGN things with Jordan talking about DBZ and Sparking Zero, and I get he's a fan, but as far as I know he's not a gaming creator, so why is he getting this stuff over other DBZ creators? For me it’s people following me on every platform and DMing videos saying how much they like my content and reciting my intros. It shows me that it’s deeper than just the video game I play or the drama I talk about, but my original perspective is what they’re enjoying.

For small creators, many are looking to expand their channel's growth via Sparking Zero, and with all the bigger UA-camrs getting more footage and showing a lot of the game before release
But at the same time, this is all a marketing effort by Bandai to get ppl even more hype for the game, long-term.
If most had the chance to showcase unseen footage they’ll do it in a heartbeat regardless if they’re “small” or “big” content creators but idk, can’t be watching next people and expecting way too much 😭

I think the issue is not just that the big content creators got access early and are able to monopolize certain content. I think it’s also the context that many of the same bigger channels were virtue signaling about how Sparking Zero is time for small channels to eat just for them to eat whole plate this month. On top of the fact that their initial advice for small channels only worked for UA-cam back in the day and won’t do much for small channels today. If there was no “small channels” conversation before this early access to the game, I don’t think this current conversation would have ever happened
They need to work hard so they get the same recognition the big dudes get.

I had this argument before, in regards to cod. I was mad people got the game early, so people were going to hit round 100 before I even got the game, and my homie Brokie it down like this : There’s always going to be established creators, who will have access to the game early. You weren’t ever going to be able to compete with them in terms of keeping up with the ‘news’ or being the first to show gameplay or whatever. When you’re smaller you gotta think more outside the box. Which is exactly what you say in this video basically. 😂
Yeah if people have been making content for 10 plus years unfortunately, they will most likely have a bigger fan base that should make sense. I understand being frustrated but some of the older content creators are also leaving the platform and retiring too.
1.) UA-cam or social media is just yapping with confidence game. When you won’t shut up, you naturally gain attention, and if you manage to yap about something of value, you’ll succeed. I don’t even have 1,000 subs & had multiple mini-viral(50-100k+ views).
2.) Social Media is a business & nobody really owes you anything, but it’s important to not burn bridges when you can.
3.) Honestly, it’s just tough luck for anyone who didn’t get early footage. Get your street cred up so companies want to market through you too.
Those big creators were given that opportunity because Bandai wanted them to promote the game. If they don't post or talk about the game, they would lose that opportunity in the future.

It's so easy to not watch those videos though. I've seen quite a few Sparking Zero videos or posts on X and I ignore them because I've seen the official trailers and I got what I need.
They worked hard to get the connections and ins they got. Obviously if your smaller you wont have the same opportunitys right away.

Only thing about this I wanna say is that I don’t care that UA-camrs got it early, I care that they got it a whole month early. I think getting it a week or 2 would’ve been sufficient. Enough time to give previews on ideas they had and hype up the game, but also not enough time to be like “oh damn so we still waiting for a month why 🤔?”
Small content creators are simultaneously the most loveable and the most hateable people on UA-cam. They think that bigger content creators weren't busting the bricks off their asses to get to where they are for YEARS just trying to catch their big break, when the reality is people like DotoDoya 100% had ten times the work ethic any of these crybaby clowns have with their channels.
Throwing a tantrum isn't going to get them a key, ESPECIALLY not 8 days away from release. Honestly if they were making as big of a splash in the community as they thought, they could have been collabing with people like SSJCabby to slowly work their way up and build connections with people who know creators like Rhymestyle, because that's how it WORKS. If it were me, I'd even do some sneaky shit like reach out to Burcol to stage a Xenoverse beef because his channel is dead and we'd both need the engagement. Peak symbiosis.

Anyways, being successful on UA-cam is more luck than anything else, and there's no point getting upset about the current uploads because it's bottom tier content anyway. Movesets, intro dialog, costumes. Boring stuff. There's little to nothing of the Meta or competitive scene, not to mention like you said custom content and the dlc that is coming.
