I love how Bulma's supportive thoughts compliments Chi-Chi's strict-but understandable points, with Videl overlapping both sides. They definitely stayed faithful to the original commentary for sure.
And Videl know a lot of things that only Gohan could have told her, like Nail and Piccolo fusing, Frieza vs Krilin and stuff like that, it shows that she and Gohan have a really cool relationship

To be fair, through most of Z, he never had the CHANCE to stop and help raise Gohan and Goten. The Earth was in danger, and/or he was dead for the whole series. Super lets us see what Goku gets up to when he isn't training to fight some existential threat to everything he loves.
They really took every aspect of the old Budokai Tenkaichi games and expanded on them tenfold. What if scenarios? Baked right into the campaign, complete with cutscenes and full voice acting. Chi-Chi's encyclopedia? Well now it's basically the Z Moms book club with Videl and Bulma. Roster? The biggest one we've ever seen.
I love Chi-Chi saying how Yajirobe sliced off Vegeta's tail when he was fighting with Gohan. Most people just call that fight Vegeta vs Goku, but she doesn't forget her son's role!

THIS IS WHY i love commentary parts like this or like how in DB Fighterz, based on the lineup unlocked unique scenes. I like how they are talking about "in universe" questions and making points. Like SSJ3 eyebrows, or the fish jump or that Coolers mask thing is ventilated or Vegeta's comment on the "Super Saiyan bargin sale" or how Chichi was not aware of how some forms worked or how when GT charecters came up, the ladies were questioning what was going on.
During the Saiyan Saga, Krillin was stronger than multiple Saibamen who are about as strong as Raditz. And Raditz was one of the strongest low class Saiyans who make up most of the Saiyan population, so Krillin and Tien & Yamcha surpassed most Saiyans during the Saiyan Saga. Then Krillin surpassed Mid Class Saiyans on Namek. Then he became stronger than 1st for Freeza who effortlessly took out almost all the Saiyan race. And currently, he is only weaker than Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten & Trunks when they are SSJ because they don't train seriously, & Broly. Krillin effortlessly bodies every other Saiyan besides the living ones and the Universe 6 Saiyans who can turn SSJ. Krillin, Yamcha, & Tien are a lot stronger than most ppl realize

It was never a mistranslation but rather something that comes with the localization process. The reason why Toppo is referred to as Top in the dub is the same reason why Goku's Saiyan name is Kakarot instead of Kakarotto, which is what the manga and original Japanese broadcast use. Since their names come from English objects (a stovetop and carrots respectively), the artifacts that come from translating them into Japanese (the -po and -to in Toppo and Kakarotto) aren't seen as necessary during the localization process, hence why their names get shortened.

It was never a mistranslation but rather something that comes with the localization process.
The reason why Toppo is referred to as Top in the dub is the same reason why Goku's Saiyan name is Kakarot instead of Kakarotto, which is what the manga and original Japanese broadcast use. Since their names come from English objects (a stovetop and carrots respectively), the artifacts that come from translating them into Japanese (the -po and -to in Toppo and Kakarotto) aren't seen as necessary during the localization process, hence why their names get shortened.
