That thing is awesome 😎 I love it. All I could hear in my head was "got em bobby, git em" lizard lick towing 😂😂 can't wait to see the reactions from customers when you rock up, beacons flashing and a big Ben grin in the window. It's definitely giving something to the channel, it's a character. So wish I lived closer so we could see it out and about. Definitely need more videos now 😂🤣 uploaded yet? 👊😘

I used to drive an iveco cargo at one point, that had a very similar looking spec on it. Some useful additions it had was a standard ball hitch that you could swivel round at the bottom of the boom to pull trailers with it, and a retractable trailer cable coming out just to the side of the boom that plugged straight into the light board.

That is cool and my fav colour. Has to be called Tango after the Tango Orange Man. I think you will have to put your logos in black to match the trim. It would be great to see the chassis side of things and the storage boxes. Looking forward to seeing it in action.

Nice truck Ben - be well useful. Name wise it's got to be Jaffa. The engine management light isn't an issue mot wise because it's a diesel first used before 1st Jan 2008

Recommend getting some free wheeling hubs for the front. Will allow you to use low range in 2WD only, stops the 4x4 binding up. Might be worth doing the bottom end bearings if they not been done too

Just 1 thing bud I'm not sure if you noticed the width of the spec sticks out past with width of the truck.
Couldn't see if it went past the rear wheel arches.
I had my iveco spec impounded by VOSA a couple of job worths honestly.
Cost me a fortune.
But i got around it by extending the swan neck and putting it in a tilt.
Banged around a bit but they was kinda happy.

But my suggestion is hex bug ... As it's got 6 wheels and is 70's VW bug orange!
Now if I'd known you were looking for a recovery truck I'd have suggested a Stonefield 6x4 ... They are crazy impractical vehicles with 3 speed auto, 5.2l Chrysler V8 engines, low ratio transfer box and a space frame chassis ... most were built as airport fire tenders, but some have been converted to recovery trucks ... It would likely be a project as they are really old now ... as I said, completely impractical!

I think the engine management light not working as intended is only a fail for vehicles registered since 2010 ... I think it is an advisory for slightly older vehicles and shouldn't be a problem for any vehicle first registered before 2008 (though I think it might still be a problem for someone taking their driving test ...)
Apparently, linking the engine management light to the oil pressure light is one work-around (which would take more skill and be very hard (impossible?) to spot before buying a vehicle)

I know its not a Range Rover but there was a 6x6 conversation made on the Range Rover called the "Commando". Used as an airport rapid response vehicle it looked awesome as well 😁

What's the drive line and suspension like underneath? I'd love to see a video tour of the workings if you get it on a ramp. Back in the early 90s I built a 6x6 Land Rand Rover to play with. I've always love the three axle layout, if done right, and fancy another 6x6 but at a smaller scale. No need for one work wise so it might need to wait until I have retired and have no time to do anything! 🤣
