You guys should check out Sotha Sil Expanded as well. It completely transforms the once brief Clockwork City section of the Tribunal main quest into a massive DLC-sized mod that's even bigger than vanilla Solstheim. Its got some really crazy and creative set-pieces and concepts, and it's by far one of the most memorable experiences you'll have going through an Elder Scrolls mod.
It's great to finally have channels that understand the history of the elder scrolls and have more in depth understanding of lore than the typical skyrim fan pages. Amazing work by this channel and amazing work by the modders
This is one of my favorite mods. The level of detail in the interiors and exteriors is great. Been following the mod for ages. I wanted to contribute to it at one point but I wasn't good enough to make quests and such, so I ended up not applying. But the biggest thing I love about it is how well they have followed the example set by early 2000's Bethesda, it really does spark the imagination just as the original TES 3 did for me. The only thing wrong with it is that it isn't done, and will not be for ages. :P But every update they release, I download it, and experience it all over again.
ive stayed with this beautiful project ever since the second expansion i eagerly await the day elder scrolls 3 morrowind actually includes morrowind in its entirety
Long time fan of Tamriel rebuilt. Been trying to push it on friends forever but “modding scary.” Either way, the Bethesda modding community at this point should serve a reminder of how humanity has gotten as far as we have. If we want something badly enough we can truly move mountains. Bravo
When TR started most of us were teenagers. We had practically no experience in professional game design and even now some of us are doing this as a hobby project and aren't professional computer or design people in our day jobs (I know I'm not). But what we had was the impression the game gave to us when we played it at that young age. Through all the iterations that parts of the mod have gone through and still go through (and there are a lot) that kind of feeling kept things afloat and pointed in the right direction. I know the website today has it codified in that way, and you can talk about what resources were pulled from and which weren't, but really its more a shared feeling that I think a lot of ES fans will understand who played the games in that time period. It almost doesn't need to be said. You had that feeling of what Morrowind *was* 15 years ago when you first played it, and that stuck with you and so you try and recreate that as best you can. That, at least to me, was always the guiding principle people had.
Man, I wish Bethesda had even an ounce of the respect, love and drive that these people have. The world of Morrowind is definitely the best of the series. Skyrim just didn't have the sense of imaginnation/intrigue/otherworldiness.
I'm glad to hear you enjoying the ESO lore more these days. I personally love a lot of what the developers have done to improve since launch and it has a ton to offer these days. Regardless thanks for the videos guys. I have you guys playing all the time
Morrowind has such incredible atmosphere, lore, dialogue, quests and setting. I wish I could get into it but the gameplay just isn't for me. I'm glad you guys make lore videos over it so it's almost like I can experience some of that wonder secondhand. Maybe if there was a mod to make the gameplay of Morrowind like Skyrim's then I'd adore being able to get into the setting and story.
Kirkbridian lore forever changed tamriel but in a far complex and choice way where interpretation was key. Eso didn't necessarily build upon this but created a practical lore in recipes, quests and myths that newcomers could explore and immerse themselves in. Not being a lore master myself (I wish but the time required jeez, although I recon fudge muppet should be recognised if not already) I would recommend anyone play 3 hours of any eso faction to pick up the essence of their abilities and practical and theoretical culture. Please comment down below If you want any responses to your questions I'll try my subjective best as that's what it's all about in the God head if you want to achieve chim
Tamriel Rebuilt is indeed amazing to behold. From when I saw it over 4 years ago, before the first Western Alpha release up to the current release with Old Ebonheart in tact....This mod has set the standard to which my own mod Western Isles is being set. Detail, detail, detail. Retaining the look and feel of "Morrowind", while stretching out the imagination of how things can look. As my own Western Isles nears completion of 1500+ exterior grids, I still find spots to redo, because it is not at the standard set by this mod.
Your love for morrowind and dark elves mirrors my love for Bretons and high rock. What would you think of a similar project to restore daggerfall? Despite the fact of how big it is and there may be a similar game coming in the elder scrolls 6. Love your videos! Part 11 or you will be stuck with the adoring fan for eternity!
I was literally just considering whether or not to add this mod to my second playthrough of tES3 Morrowind. If FudgeMuppet recommend it, I suppose it's good, yeah?
Damn. If only I had the resources, I would pull them all together as a new studio for finish Morrowind, and then move on to Oblivion and Skyrim as well, to redo those games, keeping within the lore established prior to their releases. The lore that was pre-established was infinitely more interesting than the sterile, mass-appeal drek we got. Still love the games, but they could have been so much better and far deeper than they wound up being.
and how convenient is it that I am looking for a new mod for morrowind? I'll be taking this and I actually might be able to help I have novice skills but I want to improve my coding abilities
So much nostalgia. I sincerely hope when TES VI is finally released that it brings back this level of expansive cities and sense of adventure and exploration
I tried downloading this mod and i was sure it was working (world map had expanded to the mainland) and I went to ebonheart and used scroll of Icarian flight to jump southward and the game crashed right as the modded areas loaded. Apparently the TR_data masterfile had been changed since it was last saved and was causing errors. Had no idea how to fix it (first time modding any game) so I deleted all files associated with TR to make sure I didnt unknowingly do anymore damage to the game files and stuff lmao. I plan to return to the mod in the future, when I am a bit more knowledgeable in technology and modding games stuff. It was good while it lasted
Morrowind world, Oblivion mechanics, Skyrim's modded interface + FO4+ graphics = Ultimate win. But Bethesda won't do that: costs money and it's not very monetizable...
Bethesda, in their blinding wisdom, then proceeded to send them a cease and desist. Claiming "We appreciate it, buuuuut we have to protec our intellectual property despite the fact that the makers of Tamriel Rebuilt aren't making a penny off of it! And we absolutely HATE IT when people start to have fun without giving us money!"
Oh man, remember that time Bethesda made rpgs?? I wonder why they only made two. I mean, Oblivion wasn’t as good as the first, but it had its good qualities. There was no need to stop making rpgs altogether after it.
Thanks. I’d have taken the advice several years ago. After playing it and nodding it as much as I have, Skyrim just doesn’t work as a base for me to put in the effort of modding, anymore. Perhaps if sky wind or some total conversion
One of the problems I had with TR was that, when I was modding for them, they had a strict rule about not cutting/pasting items. Every shelf and every item on those shelves are completely original... Unlike Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim where Bethesda themselves have massively cut and pasted that one bookshelf... Yea, you know the ones I mean. When it came to building the world everything had to be original and it unnecessarily draws out the building of said world. While it's nice to have uniqueness there is a balance one can have between easily pre-made copy-pasteable items like a "shelf of stuff" and that one unique shelf with that Ordinator helmet armor because this house belonged to a retired temple guard. One shouldn't be able to copy that one shelf over and over again everywhere(as was glaringly noticeable in Oblivion), BUT there should be some pre-made copyable assets to be inserted for ease of building... like a stack of sacks... or a corner of barrels... Those kinds of things just weren't allowed when I was building.
@@r.tailik8357 Because before being added EVERY interior was "reviewed" for inclusion. If it wasn't up to their standards it was rejected. Understandable when you consider there could be someone who half-asses an interior.... Like using Hlaalu-style interior pieces for a Dwemer ruin.
@@r.tailik8357 I'm okay with the reviewing of things, sure. I just think there /should/ be common copy/pasteable assets. Say you're building a Dunmer ancestral tomb.... a quick copy/pasteable asset could be a pre-built ash pit complete with incense, a lantern, and a prayer stool. Have to duplicate it a few times? THEN you can fiddle with the details and make areas unique. Having to add a constant "uniqueness" to every aspect can draw out the build time of spaces. This, in my opinion, is why TR has only finished like... one project. Stirk. And that was for the release of Oblivion back in 06.... TR has been working on finishing Morrowind since... my gods, all the way back to 2000 I wanna say? And there's a problem as well. 2 decades and they still haven't even finished their flagship product from at least 3 entire gaming generations ago. Some of those members have grown up around this project for part of those decades and have gotten more life beat-downs than they ever wanted, forcing them to leave the project for one reason or another. I remember one of the lore experts, Haplo, getting real sick and having to take a break for months, and that was before Oblivion even launched. 2 decades, though? That should really send up a red flag about just how much overmanagement there is. When I was there there were a good 50-100 members actively working. Actively building the world... But again, overmanagement. Suddenly some new designer rule came along and everything got wiped off the board to start over. That's pretty much why I left the first time. I came back to TR with the Stirk project but even with a new, mostly new, council of management the old flaws still bothered me. It was nice to see Haplo back, though. but... that was over a decade ago, itself.
Thanks you for promoting TR.

Basically, collect everything and put it in a museum. I'm not sure about Special Edition(I assume if you're new), but for old Skyrim there are a lot of mods that are also supported. Making for a very solid and expanded vanilla feel.
If you know how to sail you can find Skyrim Legendary Edition easily enough. Otherwise the only other place to easily find it is on Humble Bundle(Steam key), but that's still $40 and it never goes on sale since Special Edition came out.
Can't wait to see some great questline on House Dres against argonians in black marsh (like slave raids on thorn for instance)
Im playing openWM 0.43 and morrowind game data on my smartphone, with the tamriel rebuild mod full working. Im a very happy person for a year now...
Smartphone? Hows that possible?
@@umelzulueta3066 theres an apk for Android from the Open sorce mod openWM for pc game morrowind. Its a emulator. You need the data files of morrowind from your PC, then copy that for a folder called "mw", you obvious create this folder, on your phone/tablet. You Will need circa 2 GB to have all data on phone. You download the openWM 0.43 apk version, the ONLY one openWM android version. You can find on internet, just Google it. The apk have circa 200 MB. The Nexus mods works on this android version too, so this is the best android game today, but mostly ppl dont know this because openWM morrowind on Android its not legal, so cant have publicity on the NET, or bathesda put openWM creators on tribunal. True.
@@helderjulio7753 Thank for the info. I will try it 😃
This was what I was looking for. To see if TR would run on my phone with OMW. You just made my entire day. Thank you.

Bro watching this and being high asf at the same time.
It's great to finally have channels that understand the history of the elder scrolls and have more in depth understanding of lore than the typical skyrim fan pages. Amazing work by this channel and amazing work by the modders
Theres also a related mod that adds Stros M'kai and I've heard their working on an Akavir mod as well..finally this mod gets the love it should
This is one of my favorite mods.
IT's so good to see a big youtuber that also wishes several retcons post-Morrowind had no been made.
ive stayed with this beautiful project ever since the second expansion i eagerly await the day elder scrolls 3 morrowind actually includes morrowind in its entirety
Principle #6- Follow the Lorebeard. Zaric Zhakaron cannot be ignored because how can such a thing even be called lore?
Ah, I need to go back to Morrowind soon. I miss it dearly.
I'm glad to hear you enjoying the ESO lore more these days. I personally love a lot of what the developers have done to improve since launch and it has a ton to offer these days. Regardless thanks for the videos guys. I have you guys playing all the time
The thieves guild questline in old ebonheart is soooo good
Excellent review. Brought tears to my eyes.
Thumbs up for this one. If you haven't tried TR yet, you really should.
Just wait for Skywind, exactly what you'd love
Damn I miss playing morrowind, that music just reminded me just how great that game is
Kirkbridian lore forever changed tamriel but in a far complex and choice way where interpretation was key.
Feel I have to point out that not everything Kirkbride wrote is canon.
Bethesda should just hire the people on this team already
I can't wait to explore more diverse and unique lands and cities of Morrowind
There is a project to remake TES2 Daggerfall in the Unity Engine. Look it up, its pretty interesting.
It’s 3:00 am.. I’m extremely tired... and watching a FudgeMuppet video.... cool
Rocky // Docky same but add two hours😩
ooft.. It’s a hard knock life, eh?
At least it’s not a school night.
Btw you can go to Markarth hold, some abeccian isles off of hammerfell, and stirk, an island off of Cyrodiil in addition to the mainland
With the use of the other mods
This is my retirement plan, I'll be playing the full version when I'm in a nursing home
Me and you both mate 😂
I was literally just considering whether or not to add this mod to my second playthrough of tES3 Morrowind.
If FudgeMuppet recommend it, I suppose it's good, yeah?
Do it, even the part of the mainland that isn't populated yet is absolutely gorgeous. Simply sightseeing will make your day
Morrowind rebirth and tamriel rebuilt are essential

Loving this video! I only used to play JRPG, but more recently have started to get into CRPG and WRPG. Great work.
Which would win?
A multi Million dollar game title.
Or
A game made with passion and patience.
Nice, I'm gonna download this as soon as possible, and the video showing it off is great!
Hmm... maybe I should buy Morrowind and try it out.
and how convenient is it that I am looking for a new mod for morrowind?
Actually i don't consider that a mod i consider that a full game, the reason is the amount of time energy and effort that is going into making it
It's been three years, I'm ready to go back.
There will never be another game like Morrowind. The best ever.
I had no idea those were giant ticks we rode on as transport 😂😂
I lost my soul to Morrowind 16 yrs ago. Here I am still playing & modding it.
Morrowind world, Oblivion mechanics, Skyrim's modded interface + FO4+ graphics = Ultimate win. But Bethesda won't do that: costs money and it's not very monetizable...
I read expensive and thought it was in the Creation Club. I was so sad till you said expansive in the video.
Play enairim
Thanks. I’d have taken the advice several years ago.
After playing it and nodding it as much as I have, Skyrim just doesn’t work as a base for me to put in the effort of modding, anymore. Perhaps if sky wind or some total conversion
I wish PS4 had good mods
Same with xbox
O yeah yeah it’s a joke
@@1uup10 no it's not
O yeah yeah ps4 doesn’t have mods dude, he was joking. Smh.
@@1uup10 what do you mean yes it does
Fantastic video!
Thank you!
Not one but two Sting references? In a few seconds? Thats bold!
This! this! this! is the most magnificent video I've ever seen!
It was. For a while i tried branching out into writing, even voice acting, but it was just "easier" for me to build interiors.
@@Sunseahl How could they tell? Lol
@@Sunseahl You personally didn't like that tho?
0:22 Wait...furry slave trade?
wtf is going on in Morrowind?
its an alien setting there is so much crazy stuff going on.
and since khajiits are furrys (kinda) and you can buy them...
Hippity hoppity argonians and khajiits are property
Every race is a slave, but furries and scalies are the most popular slaves for Morrowind.
Jaer Nihiltheus this is the most accurate answer right here ^
The fact that people are now calling Khajiit furries makes me want to vomit.
I love this channel so much best channel ever!!!
I almost shed a tear when I heard that Morrowind Music....
The Iron Fist makes music? Sounds like something worth checking out.
Love this right here
