I remember the feeling i got when i started to wear headscarves. I just felt so powerful in myself. That’s the thing to me, I don’t believe that submission to God makes you weak. I believe that it makes you strong
It's peoples rotten minds and jealousy that makes us weak. Never listen to others. We are all equal. Listen to yourself first and go towards your Creator and his Prophets and Scholars to find the true answers
Thank you for sharing! I am a teenager and I wanted to start head covering to be more modest and to be closer to God. I feel he had put it on my heart to start covering since I am constantly worried about what I look like and I have prayed concerning this subject. I want to break away from how the world wants me to act. Do you have any tips for those starting out? I love your channel btw. Keep walking the narrow path sister, much love ☺️❤
Wow that's incredible for your age, I think that's so beautiful. Thank you for your question. You have inspired me to make a video about this. God bless you. ❤️
Muslim woman are supposed to cover her head too because headcovering is a sign of modesty exactly like u said. We are so proud to be muslims and to wear the headcover which is a crown of me. May God guide and bless you sister !
God truly sends his blessings for doing the right things. I love women without makeup. They drive me insane Also headcovers look so cute I feel relieved when i look at them

You shall be saved. Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! - Jesus the Christ loves you, praise YHWH our Elohim - Evidence for Jesus Christ’s existence, crucifixion, and disappearance from the tomb (He rose from it): The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the tomb. To argue about wether He was taken from the grave or rose from it, is an argument a skeptic can make. Because well if you disregard the eye witness testimony of the disciples and there willingness to die for Christ, and humans won’t die for something they know is a lie, when Peter is pinned upside down to that cross, he could have said that it was a fake, but He didn’t because it wasn’t, what care would he have about death in this world if he knew for a fact he had assurance of a life in another, Jesus Christ did rise from the tomb and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Now the evidence for the Lord Jesus Christ’s existence really isn’t hard to find a multitude of non-Christian scholars and historians mention Him within 150 years after the time of His life. One such is Tacitus a Roman historian who reported on emperor nero’s decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed rome in 64 AD. Tacitus wrote: “Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…” In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative. Another important source of evidence about Jesus and early Christianity can be found in the letters of Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan. Pliny was the Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. In one of his letters, dated around A.D. 112, he asks Trajan's advice about the appropriate way to conduct legal proceedings against those accused of being Christians. Pliny says that he needed to consult the emperor about this issue because a great multitude of every age, class, and sex stood accused of Christianity. At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians: “They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.” This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians. First, we see that Christians regularly met on a certain fixed day for worship. Second, their worship was directed to Christ, demonstrating that they firmly believed in His divinity. Furthermore, one scholar interprets Pliny's statement that hymns were sung to Christ, "as to a god", as a reference to the rather distinctive fact that, "unlike other gods who were worshipped, Christ was a person who had lived on earth." If this interpretation is correct, Pliny understood that Christians were worshipping an actual historical person as God! Of course, this agrees perfectly with the New Testament doctrine that Jesus was both God and man. You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes: “About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.” Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it. But regardless he wrote about the Lord Jesus Christ. Wether it was negative or positive like the possible document is. Anyways there are many other statements, documents, letters, and writings of all sorts from the ancient world talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and there is not one question if He was a real person or if He was crucified and went missing from the grave. That is clear as day, He is a real person, was crucified, and went missing from the grave. And He did rise from the grave. And for more evidence of the Lord Jesus Christ, there’s the Bible and you see there is no evidence the Bible is corrupted, a lie, created by the Roman government, folktale. It is the recount of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, now wether you want to believe it is up to you. And what profit was there in spreading Christianity, All the early Christian suffered persecution, beatings, and were killed. Another Scholar reported that James the Lord’s Brother was thrown off a building and then stoned to death for spreading the Gospel in Jerusalem. These people went to great lengths even giving their own lives for the Adon Jesus the Christ.

I just ordered my first veil! I’ve been praying about this for almost a complete year but have been to worried about what others thought to actually pursue it. Today I decided to mention it to my dad and he was completely supportive! I have talked to my school friends and they are all supportive as well! My veils should arrive in the next few weeks so I’m going to kick off the summer of 2023 living the closet to God I’ve ever been! Thank you for this video!
“Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven-for she loved much. -excerpt Luke 7
Veils also protect against the summer sun. I started because my grandma got skin cancer on her scalp. When I don't wear solid headscarves in the summer my scalp burns
I just kicked off 2024 wearing a veil!! I felt compelled to cover about 3-4 months. I do homeschool so I’m excited. My friend doesn’t really know but i haven’t talked about it with her.
@@kayaissimo since u js started wearing them recently, do you wear them all the time? or just when youre praying? I have been thinking about covering my hair with a headscarf for a while :)

I remember getting a strong feeling to start wearing head coverings/scarves, but I always hesitated. Finally I got the courage and ever since I wear scarves, I have a big lace headband I use for work that covers my head as well. I've had comments my grandma actually called me gypsy and a customer (when I wore one of my nice scarves) said something about pirate. Im even starting a collection of scarves that I found at DD's or thrift stores.

Came here as a refresher and strengthener. There is such a glow that shines through you with your scarf on. I love the simplicity and beauty of this tutorial. In my experience, wearing a head covering, and especially in veil form, requires so much courage and tenacity in these times. It really does stir up demons, but the rewards, I have found, are far more pervasive than the challenges. Still, I have often found this habit daunting, despite the apparent simplicity.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been covering as a Christian for about 5 years. I used to do all the fancy wraps with multiple scarves, huge volume, headbands and pins, and all of that. Then I took all kinds of time taking pictures and editing to show it all off for my headcovering FB friends. It consumed my days and ate up all my funds. Well, about 8 months ago, God convicted me about this prideful thing I was mired in. I quit the FB group which, although filled with such nice people, it was a source of temptation and pride for me. Then I gave away the majority of my scarves and volumizers. And now I feel a deep desire to wrap with beautiful simplicity. This feels like God's Grace. I cannot express how deeply grateful I am to Him. I'm so happy I found your channel. God bless you, little sister. ❤️🌷❤️

I grew up in a evangelical Protestant church and I’ve started head covering and my mother has said “you don’t have to in the new testament god made us free” and this was after I told her that god is calling me to veil 24/7
Absolutely we are free. Free from the need to keep the requirements of the law to obtain righteousness before God. But headcovering is not done to earn 'righteousness points' with God. It is a symbol of our submission, an external expression or symbol of what is true in our heart and what we believe, signifying we agree with God in relation to His created order in regards to gender roles, headship and submission.

I wanted to thank you for sharing this beautiful story(and how to veil as a Christian). I'm a Catholic teenager, and I am preparing to consecrate myself to Mary, through Saint Louis' consecration of Jesus through Mary. I've always wanted to veil after seeing our Muslim sisters and religious Sisters so happy with the veil. I also wanted to model our dear Lady as much as possible, physically, mentally and spiritually, since she is the one who will lead me to Jesus. Thank you so much for this :)
I’m also a catholic teenager and I just started wearing full time (literally three days ago) you don’t have to do that, but it’s nice to know that you’re not alone.
I think this is awesome you want to be more modest but PLEASE pray for wisdom & discernment and read what the WORD actually says. No where in the Bible does it say that Mary will bring us to Jesus. I implore you, scripture supports scripture, please learn to read and study for your salvation that is from grace thru faith that Jesus died for your sins. Father God, I pray begging You asking that You lead this young lady to Your WORD and not the word of man. Please fill her with wisdom and discernment to separate the TRUTH from man made religion. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

@earthmama9597 Enmity meaning deep hatred for. In other words, Our Blessed Mother and sin can not exist together. By Gods grace alone, she was born without original sin. God glorifies her, and we follow suit if faithful. We (meaning Catholics) did not impose a glory unto her that God Himself did not give her fully and lovingly.
I like that you considered your husband's approval for your headcovering style. Just recently my husband did not like one of my coverings (a large blue handkerchief style). I asked him which one he preferred he replied that he liked the color and shape of my scarves. So I use those ones now. I think your style is simple and elegant. God bless you 🙏 ❤
It is refreshing to see that you put so much thought into Christian headcovering. That to me is what is important. You wear it with purpose. Not out of tradition, but out of trying to follow scripture. I too am covering my head and have tried many different styles. It has boiled down to a simple scarf throughout the day, hats when working out in the garden or wool hats when camping in cold weather. When I am praying in the presence of the Father, I veil with covering my full head, neck, and forehead. I also wear turban style when I am working in my home to keep my long hair out of the way. I am wearing it for exactly the same reasons you are. It is a reminder to me to be humble, meek, quiet, and gracious as our Heavenly Father wishes His women to be. Unfortunately, it draws attention to me. I stand out from the average woman because of my headcovering and modest plain clothing. Most people can see that I am on a religious path. Many think I am Muslim. I find that mostly women are offended by it, especially Christian women. I think it convicts them and they are defiant. I have decided to please God rather than man and follow Him wholly. I am so blessed to be finding my way back to true Christianity.

For her hair is given to her as a covering. -NASB A woman's long hair is the 'covering'. No fabric covering is mentioned in Corinthians. If a fabric covering is actually required, then all references to hair are totally irrelevant to the subject. It only can make sense if the long hair of a woman is the 'covering'. She should be covered, with her long hair. To have short hair, like a man, means that she is basically bald. Therefore uncovered.
@user-iz8np3vv4i This is what the New American Standard Bible says: But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for it is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, have her also cut her hair off; however, if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, have her cover her head. 7 Note that Paul says if a woman prays with her her uncovered she should ALSO cut her hair off. This indicates that Paul wants the women of Corinth to have an additional covering. A number of translations distinguish between a woman's hair and a veil. You could argue that Paul was only writing to Corinth or that it no longer applies today because of cultural practices and that it is no longer seen as shameful for a woman to cut her hair off.
@@E.Gabora-rg8ge If we follow those who subscribe to the doctrine of women wearing veils, then it can be argued that the most often cited verse is 1st Corinth. 11:5, which states: “But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.” According to many of those who believe women ought to wear veils this verse supposedly implies that a woman’s uncovered head is a woman who does not wear a veil. Such a woman is either dishonoring God, their own physical head or her husband for failing to wear it which implies that they are in disobedience. Some have gone so far as to say it is a sin. Another assumption is that the woman being referred to already has long hair and since they conclude that the covering is a veil then it must be referring to an “additional” covering otherwise it would clash with verse 15 stating that God gave women long hair for a covering. Another conclusion is that women ought to be covered ONLY when praying and prophesying which would make it seem as though it were something that can be placed on or taken off like a veil. You’ve probably noticed by now it takes several assumptions for them to reach the conclusion that women ought to wear a foreign object on their heads, despite the lack of evidence. * Does the Bible really give a clear command that women should wear a veil? The first thing that everyone must understand when talking about this topic is that it DOES NOT say the word “veil “or any other physical headwear, as far as the KJV is concerned. It surely mentions that the woman’s head should be covered no one disputes this but it does not say that it should be covered with a veil, a shawl, a bonnet, a cap, or any other specific headwear. The verses in question within 1st Corinthians 11 mention the words, cover, covered, uncovered, and covering, but that does not mean we can translate this to mean a veil, a shawl, a bonnet, a cap, or anything else similar. In fact, it would seem more like an adverb rather than a noun. Nevertheless, the word “cover” is often unfortunately interpreted by head covering promoters to mean a veil above all other types of headwear, even if there is no evidence to prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt. To do so would mean that one is trying to read more into the verse than what is actually stated and is not truly seeking an exegesis of the Scriptures. As I mentioned earlier some will lay claim that they must be referring to a physical head covering because the Scriptures seem to indicate that there are two exclusive conditions in order to wear one and that is when a woman is either praying and/or prophesying. But does this interpretation stand up to logic? If we were to believe that under certain conditions a woman ought to wear a physical head covering, then it stands to reason that under OTHER conditions a woman should be able NOT to wear one. Allow me to expand on this if you will because this is very important. If you are going to make the argument to prove your point that a woman ought to wear a veil because the Bible supposedly claims that women ought to wear a veil based on two conditions, then it is only logical to understand that any other condition would ALLOW them to be without one; for example: if the woman is speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, healing the sick, casting out devils, etc. Now if a head covering promoter should deny this, meaning that the woman should wear their “veil” under other conditions then they would be admitting that there aren’t really “two” conditions thereby nullifying the two-condition argument. Please note that the belief in women wearing veils for many groups hinges on this “two-condition” argument because if there were actual conditions then it would seem as though the covering were something that can be placed on or taken off. But keep in mind that it does not literally or EXPLICITLY say anything about putting something on or taking something off. Veil promotors get this belief based on what they believe to be IMPLIED in the scriptures and not by a direct understanding. Many people like to believe this because they ASSUME that praying and prophesying are two conditions instead of seeing them as mere examples. * Praying and prophesying were meant to be viewed as examples, not conditions… Now I can understand how someone can mistakenly conclude praying and prophesying as conditions in verse 5, on the surface, but once you read the rest of the verses in context one cannot reach that conclusion. For example, if the strongest argument is because there were conditions for women to wear veils because of verse 5 then why don’t we hear the same thing spoken of about men in verse 4? “Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.” Normally we do not hear the argument that men ought not to have their heads covered exclusively under two conditions as we hear for women as to why they should. I think it is because that would imply that they CAN have their heads covered under other circumstances like the examples I mentioned before as in speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, healing the sick, casting out devils, etc. But I suspect a veil promoter would not go along with this. Then there is verse 7: “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.” So, there seems to be another reason for men not to cover. Therefore, if the reason for men not to cover their heads in this verse is because he is the “image and glory of God,” then why even mention praying or prophesying in verse 4? Should he not be covered under any condition because of verse 7? Verses 4 and 5 are basically the same except for whom they are directed yet when one hears the arguments by veil promoters it is typically about how verse 5 is conditional for women yet for men in verse 4 it is usually not spoken of. Isn’t it more likely that Paul was using the words praying and prophesying as examples in both verses? We can also get a sense that Paul was referring to praying and prophesying as examples if we read verse 13 when it only mentions the word praying and NOT prophesying. “Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?” If there were only two conditions, then why would he leave out prophesying? We can’t say he got tired in his writing as he mentioned both words in verses 4 and 5. So, what can we say about this? Just that Paul was giving us a couple of examples of how doing something HOLY or GODLY does not look right if the woman is uncovered, meaning not covered in long hair and the same goes for men when their heads are covered in long hair since that is exactly one is supposed to understand when reading verse 14. (originally posted by FA)
So Is the Covering Long Hair or a Veil? ….. If we examine all the verses from verses 4 to 15 without bias, we should at least agree that at certain points the verses are referring to physical heads and hair. In that case, we should be asking when they are referring to “covered,” “cover,” “uncovered” and “covering” is: Are they referring to long or short hair or some kind of foreign object that goes on the head? Some will even say all the above, but if we carefully examine verse 15 it would seem that we would be getting a clearer picture of what was being referred to in the earlier verses when it mentions the words, “covered,” “cover” and “uncovered." “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her FOR a covering." KJV If the covering is long hair, then the words “covered” or “cover” (which are synonymous with “covering”) should be understood as long hair as well. If that’s the case, then to be uncovered would mean to have short hair. If so, then we can get a better picture of verse 4 when it says that it is shameful or dishonorable for a man to pray or prophesy with his head “covered.” Note the similarity to verse 14 that’s because they are both referring to being covered in LONG hair. * You Should Naturally Know Right from Wrong by Just Looking…. If these verses do not move you yet then here’s one that should definitely blow your mind. Paul asks you to make a judgment call in verse 13 as if one should naturally see a problem because he asks you to: "Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?" Paul is asking us to make a judgment. Based on what? The only option is based on observation. Therefore, if to be uncovered would mean to be without a veil, then one would have to explain in detail why a FABRIC VEIL would pop up in the average person’s mind when observing a woman praying. Why would you or I look at someone and think that a veil (or any other foreign object) is missing? Someone needs to explain this logically. This is very important so please don’t dismiss it. Be honest with yourself do YOU really believe that the average person will look at an unveiled, praying woman and naturally think a VEIL is missing? Are we to assume that Paul expected the average person to have instilled within them the idea that a foreign object is missing from a woman? I have never seen or heard anyone say something like: "What a shame she is not wearing a veil on her head?” after looking at a long-haired, praying woman. To so do would be ludicrous. One would have to be literally BRAINWASHED to think that the average person would EVER think that a SEPARATE UNNATURAL OBJECT such as a veil would be missing on a praying woman’s head. There is no NATURAL or NORMAL reasoning to make such a judgment. But if the word “UNCOVERED” were to mean "SHORT HAIR." then it would make LOGICAL sense. For if I were to observe a woman who has a short haircut doing these holy things as we read in verse 5, then I can naturally judge (by sight) that something doesn’t look right. I think can say with some assurance that many of us have done double takes when looking at a woman with short hair especially if we are looking at their backs to confirm whether the person was male or female. It seems like a natural reaction especially when we were young. Also, the very next verse continues this line of thinking that things should be obvious to understand by mere observation. "Doth not even NATURE itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him." 1st Corinthians 11:14 Note that verses 13 and 14 are two consecutive questions both of which ask you to NATURALLY or NORMALLY ASSUME or JUDGE that there is something wrong: whether it be OBSERVING a woman’s uncovered head (a.k.a. short hair) while praying or OBSERVING a man having long hair. In addition, by using the word “NATURE” one can’t even use the excuse that perhaps they were expecting only Christians to see something different. Clearly, if “nature” teaches us that something looks off then it must be including all of mankind as nature teaches all of us both Christian and non-Christian. I would like to also add that these verses are NOT jumping from the discussion of a “veil” in verse 13 and then suddenly to “hair” in verse 14 like some would like to argue because you will note that verse 15 refers again to the woman which FLAT OUT STATES the “covering” is to mean “long hair.” Therefore, there is NO EXCUSE to not understand the previous verses are referring to hair length. By this, we can understand verse 4 which states that it is shameful or dishonoring for a man to pray or prophesy with his head covered as I previously mentioned.
I should note that verse 4 in NO WAY implies that the covering on the man can be placed on or taken off, like some like to argue, due to the aforementioned false interpretation that the verse is exclusive to two conditions instead of seeing them as two examples. As mentioned before this verse simply states that it is dishonoring if a man does something holy or godly like praying or prophesying while covered in LONG HAIR. (originally posted by FA)
Thank you for this video! God bless you, sister! 🙏🏻❤️☦️🧕🏻 I have recently started veiling full-time, after last summer i went to Orthodox monastery and every women were veiling. To me it felt so natural, respectful and beautiful! 💗 I also have Q’s: -Do you veil full-time / what’s your thought of it? -Do you have a favorite scarf material?
The veil is the best thing God gave us as women . I'm a muslim woman and I wear it for like 3 years. It's a sign of modesty and it's like crown. May God guide and bless u
I think personally head coverings for Christian ladies should be worn while praying so I’m Pentecostal so I wear it any time I go out (it’s fine if close family see my hair)
@@eliltaliya i understand. What do you think about praying and praising God all the time, without ceasing? For me it is one of the reasons to veil full-time. Also i have read about covering for the angels
@@janitaj.9383 if you think God is calling you to veil at all times, then do it! it used to be the social norm for a woman to not leave the house without putting her veil on, and this is a tradition that would have been followed by perfect role models such as the Theotokos and her sister St Elizabeth. So from one Orthodox Christian to another, i'd fully recommend going with your heart on this one. As for material, i'm a man so of course i don't veil but my girlfriend has very curly hair and sometimes veils so i've had to learn all about to best materials to take care of hair for when i want to buy her headscarves, and i recommend silk or satin the most - but feel free to do your own research and experiment with it, if you have straight and low maintenance hair you'll probably be able to get away with most things but, especially since you're going to be veiling daily, it's probably worth investing in a good silk or satin headscarf (i say investing, they're not even that expensive really)
So interesting! Married Jewish woman here. We cover hair after marriage. (Usually only in orthodox circles). The third style you showed is similar to how many Jewish women cover., including myself at times. I personally cover however my mood strikes me, including hats, beanies, snoods, wigs, turbans. The wig is usually not worn by Jewish women of middle eastern, North African, or Spanish descent, or with less frequency, as it’s not their tradition. I didn’t grow up religious and do what feels right for me within the bounds of keeping covered. Very interesting to know that it’s not just a Jewish or Muslim thing! I agree with many of your reasons for why you cover. I’m always excited to see other women with covered hair, regardless of religious affiliation.
Thank you for this video, your words are so refreshing and inspiring in this time that we live in. As a young catholic woman who is just now beginning to figure out her role in the world as a woman, I thoroughly appreciated this video. Gods bless you and your family!
Thank you! Me and my family were Baptized into Orthodoxy last Christmas Eve (OCA but mostly converts in our parish so most women wear head coverings). I’ve been fussing with and trying to figure out how to dress and cover my head for the past year all while having our 3rd child in April (so my wardrobe keeps having different needs). Your perspective is perfect and how I feel but so good to have solidarity in choosing humble simplicity as you have shown and explained as busy moms❤.
I have seen your testimony video couple years ago. I was so moved. The first thing I noticed was your headcovering. You inspired me. Thank you for sharing.
We as a Muslim sister, I started wearing head covering to follow God command and to remember God thru the day. It's a real blessing and I am grateful. Many of your beliefs are very inline with mine❤️❤️❤️ thanks for your video
Why would god make you ashamed of any part of the body he created for you? And why is it only women that feel shame? And if it's not oppressive, then why are the countries with the worst human rights records, the least women's rights, and the highest violence towards women, also countries where women cover their heads?
I feel like God has put head coverings on my heart I've decided to sew bandana-like head scarves and wear them they make me feel more modest already tomorrow I'll wear my first one to school I'm scared, senior in highschool 😂 definitely will be teased but whatever. God bless y'all!!! ❤️
I’ve been so intrigued on wearing a veil myself, and covering up more.. I feel comfortable and complete. Instead of me wearing revealing things that makes me feel uncomfortable, glad I’m getting curious about this. ❤
Thank you! Once again, a wonderful video😊…. I appreciate how you mentioned that we can’t conform to the current culture…. As Christians, we are to bring light into this dark world, not mix with it … the Father never called us to mix with the world. I love the veil too… I wear it always in the congregation, when praying, reading the Bible and when ministering to others. I’m considering wearing it at all times since we are to pray without ceasing☺️. Thank you sister… you are a blessing.
Thank you for your kindness towards me. 🙏 and Amen. That's so wonderful that you are on your own journey with head covering and following as God calls you. I find that beautiful and how much of a blessing will you be to those around you because of your obedience. Glory to God Sister and may He bless you abundantly.
This is the most helpful and realistic tutorial I've seen. Thank you for both your reasons and head scarf. I appreciate your commentary because it's how I also feel about making it simple.
In Islam women should cover their heads as well it's sign of modesty but nobody should force you to wear it. It IS you choice to obey God or not. Islam gives us the liberty of choice and I choice to obey my God and Wear it. May God bless and guide you sister
I’m not sure why you stopped posting vids but thank you for putting yourself out there! I recently tried to wear head coverings this year and my goal is to get over my fears of people looking at me funny and wear it full time! I am Christian woman and I have done a lot of research on head coverings and how it really used to be such a common thing up until feminism unfortunately. I am happy to find people like you who are okay wearing head coverings and also talk to other people about it as well!! The book of Corinthians talks a lot about head coverings, so I think it is pretty interesting studying it and just being more modest overall! Thanks for putting yourself out there!
Thank you for sharing! God has put it on my heart to wear a head covering and it's nice to see others with the same conviction :) Beautifully done video, sister!

@@8784-l3b I'm sorry but I don't think that is true. 1 Corinthians 11:4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head-it is the same as having her head shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
@@8784-l3b We are meant to keep our hair long based off these verses, but also to cover our heads. 1 Corinthians does also say, "15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering." but I don't think that is to negate the previous verses about covering the head while praying or prophesying because you can't have long hair and only cover the head while praying and prophesying, you'd have it covered all the time if it just meant hair.
@@8784-l3b All major religions mention a woman covering her head, it is not only a Christian value, but a Hindu one, a Jewish one, and a Muslim one, among others. It is a desire of the Almighty God to us all :)

...because the hair instead of a covering hath been given to her... It only can make sense if the long hair of a woman is the 'covering'. She should be covered, with her long hair. To have short hair, like a man, means that she is basically bald. Therefore uncovered.
During Prayer, it is said in islam, and obviously in Other religions too, do not kid me, that the Angels come to the people that are praying and collecting information about what they did. So it is good manners to have a dresscode for prayers. (Exept in Bed with your husband!, close the windows the curatins and the doors xD) And outside, it is 100% done for your husband. Because he would not want other men to fantasize about you PS: Angels write out anything you do, yes even nonsense (those are the ones on your right and left shoulders)
I'm from Malaysia and I used to veil in church, fell out of faith, left the church for many years. Nowwww coming back to God, I've been feeling this really strong feeling to veil in and out of church but I feel hesitant because I live in a muslim country and as is I sometimes get questioned when eating in a chinese restaurant or eating during the fasting month😂 Pray fo me that I get this out of my head, pick up my cross and follow Christ❤
Thank you Sister, I 💯% agree with all you said. I've been wanting to cover my head for the exact same reasons for years now but I'm lacking courage. Watching you explain your reasons and giving us your demonstration on how to tie it has been very inspiring. I hope and pray I'll be able to cover my head soon also one day 🙏🏻❤️
At the 1:36 mark… oh my Father, I’m in tears. I never been married through the church and to think that I can be part of the bride of Christ. I’m in tears of joy.
I confess, I never thought of the veil as being because we are brides. I have tried the turban, and I absolutely cannot tie them and get them to stay on, so I finally just decided veiling is for me, with either a headscarf, a long scarf, or the traditional lace veil. I went through a time when I was wearing hats, but now I think that they smack of wearing a crown also and will not be wearing them anymore to church. Thanks for this video, it is very informative. I have shared it with my head covering groups and I’m sure they will get much good out of it also.
I have always Loved the head veil head covering ever since from my childhood, i'm now 58 i personally have decided to start wearing the head veil head covering for the past three days now, i most certainly feel so different i feel so confident a commitment a positive feeling within my inner most self i feel a sense of calming of my well-being mental health. Thank you for your tuition i highly appreciate your help and support 🙏

Why? Well, because the Bible tells me so. And I am so fed up with my own discussions with God. Always trying to avoid what He asks me to do. Why not just obey?Whatever. It's not hard. It's easy. I would like to see Him happy with me. And if I obey , He might reveal Himself more to me to show me His will in my life.
amen, i've had to learn the hard way that everything is so much better when you give up personal desires and wants and just obey God. once i get over that initial roadblock of my ego thinking my ways are perfect and right, and i just submit to the Lord, everything is perfect
Thank you. I am going to start wearing headscarves. I am a little nervous about the reaction of friends… but I want to obedient. Need to look up scripture to back up the reasoning as well to people.
This is just such a peaceful and loving video. I've been considering veiling for some time now, but have not yet decided to start. I'm Carpatho-Rusyn ethnically and they have a beautiful tradition of headcoverings.
This was a big topic for me coming out of nearly 10 years of legalistic fundamentalism where head coverings and having long hair were mandatory for the women of our church. After many years of prayer about these verses God was gracious and showed me that this teaching on long hair and head coverings has no parallel under the OT type and shadow of Christian doctrine. Sound Christian doctrine is found in the OT blueprint such as sacrificial lamb, baptisms and out of servitude into a place of liberty and provision. This answer to these verses while utterly thrilling and liberating left me with a major headache. If they are not to be acted upon why are they there. After a couple of weeks of prayer ( so quick ) I had a verse coming to me 1 Cor 7 1..... now concerning the things whereof you wrote unto me !!!!!!! NOW....concerning the things YOU WROTE UNTO ME...... Paul covered these things because the corinthians had written to him about them. And then at the end of his discourse on their questions he finishes with his statement .....nevertheless we have no such customs neither do the churches of God. 1 Cor 11 16 WOW!!!
You gave me the courage to do the wrap around the neck. That has always seemed so graceful and feminine. That's how I'm going to Women's Bible Study tonight!

Thank you for your reply. I feel leaving out the first part of the chapter is misleading. (Verses 2-12) For those interested, it's covered (pardon the pun!) In 1 Corinthians 11 My husband and I have studied the Greek a length and the word used for "covering" is translated back to your hair is your glory "for a covering" or "to be covered". I just don't want others investigating this to be mislead. The main purpose of the whole chapter is setting up God's authority and structure in marriage and instructing us how to pay respect to this. Our husbands and God. The practice only ceased largely in the women's liberation movements of 1960s. I feel that we are not "finally" smart enough in the last 50-60 years to have finally "got it right" when our church predecessors we're covering in the new testament era for almost 2000 years. I don't mean to be argumentative, just shining light on the truth. Pray to God and see where Holy Spirit leads you. He is so faithful. God bless you 🌻
@@tanyastorm4860 you wrote: My husband and I have studied the Greek a length and the word used for "covering" is translated back to your hair is your glory "for a covering" or "to be covered". Not sure what you mean. You don't have to cover your hair, as if it is sinful or for some other reason, if that is what you're saying. So not sure what you mean. This is something I also post sometimes: If a woman needs to touch and pick up something physical, before acceptable communication with deity can happen, that would make the fabric covering a talisman. Though the woman would not believe she is using a talisman. talisman (basic definition)- a piece of clothing (or other physical object) that is believed to have spiritual (or magical) properties. The object will align with your intention for its use. Every time you look at a talisman, your mind will recall the original intention of its use, until wearing it becomes a necessary ritual. I have a little more, if desired.

Hey dear sister, I love your channel, testimony, COURAGE to express these normal, commonsense things in a world that is getting more and more degenerate! We all have our place in the church of God and the veil is not a symbol of opression but one of dedication as I see it. For anyone interested to see more about the symbolism of veils I would like to recommend you Jonathan Pageau. I learnt so much from him about biblical symbolism and he is also an Orthodox Christian.

I’m a little bit nervous to tell my mom and family. They are modern day Catholic/Christian’s. I love your basic low-maintenance tutorial! My only concern is that the long sides hanging down could get in the way, get dragged through food/mess, be pulled by baby hands, possibly be dangerous around motorized appliances, etc. At home I usually just don't wear a covering at all and save it for going out in public. But maybe at home I could try an underscarf or something like that.
Hello! Thank you for your comment. I don't wear any covering at home unless I'm praying in our prayer corner. But you can definitely expect it to get pulled by baby hands if you are holding them lolll I've never had an issue otherwise. God bless you.
I play with different to wrap the 2 ends once I tiethe first knot. I wear mine full time, as I ferl strongly convicted that my head should be covered for the outside world. Just like I wouldn't be caught in my pj's or bathrobe when I answer the door even for package deliveries, I do not want my head uncovered. My husband approves either way, whether I cover at home or not., so that's something I chose to do. But I'm lije you, in that I don't want the tails of my head scarves to hang over my shoulders long and get in the way. My triangle scarves are different. I wrap the long ends around my head for extra security and double knot them in the back and let the tails and tge center point hang down in the back. And none of that gets on tge way at all when I go about my day. I fo need to look in the mirror to see what I'm going, but I'm all about qick and easy.

But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head. But every woman who has her head uncovered... So, there was no Old Covenant law requiring women to wear a fabric covering. There was no time to establish a tradition of a fabric covering. Most people don’t realize that the original Christians wore scarves over their heads. Growing up in my church we would put a lace covering over our hair or wear a hat. I intend to start wearing hair coverings. I love the modesty.

Please tell us where you get your veils. I have gone through so many types. I am in a non head covering church. My husband likes it draping too but it pulls off on me. Hoping to find inspiration and answers from your video.
Your video came up in my feed today. As a Christian woman, I was drawn to learn more about covering my head last year. Unfortunately no matter which way I tried wearing them I would end up with a headache, which quickly went to a migraine. I still want to wear one but I have no idea how to go about it when even just a little pressure around my head - even like how you were wearing yours in the video - causes migraines. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. God Bless.

I remember the feeling i got when i started to wear headscarves. I just felt so powerful in myself. That’s the thing to me, I don’t believe that submission to God makes you weak. I believe that it makes you strong
It's peoples rotten minds and jealousy that makes us weak.

Listen to yourself first and go towards your Creator and his Prophets and Scholars to find the true answers

I just started wearing my christian veil while praying and it feels so so peaceful 🤍🙏🏻

Headcovering really does seem to have a certain 'magic' to it.

Evidence for Jesus Christ’s existence, crucifixion, and disappearance from the tomb (He rose from it):
The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the tomb. Tacitus wrote:
“Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…”
In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative.
At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians:
“They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.”
This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians.
You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes:
“About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.”
Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it.

God glorifies her, and we follow suit if faithful. We (meaning Catholics) did not impose a glory unto her that God Himself did not give her fully and lovingly.

But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for it is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, have her also cut her hair off; however, if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, have her cover her head. 7
Note that Paul says if a woman prays with her her uncovered she should ALSO cut her hair off.

What is next is an essay by FA that addresses all this.
It is in 2 partitions.
@@E.Gabora-rg8ge
If we follow those who subscribe to the doctrine of women wearing veils, then it can be argued that the most often cited verse is 1st Corinth. 11:5, which states:
“But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.”
According to many of those who believe women ought to wear veils this verse supposedly implies that a woman’s uncovered head is a woman who does not wear a veil.
* Praying and prophesying were meant to be viewed as examples, not conditions…
Now I can understand how someone can mistakenly conclude praying and prophesying as conditions in verse 5, on the surface, but once you read the rest of the verses in context one cannot reach that conclusion. For example, if the strongest argument is because there were conditions for women to wear veils because of verse 5 then why don’t we hear the same thing spoken of about men in verse 4?
“Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.”
Normally we do not hear the argument that men ought not to have their heads covered exclusively under two conditions as we hear for women as to why they should. I think it is because that would imply that they CAN have their heads covered under other circumstances like the examples I mentioned before as in speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, healing the sick, casting out devils, etc. But I suspect a veil promoter would not go along with this.
Then there is verse 7:
“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.”
So, there seems to be another reason for men not to cover.
“Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?”
If there were only two conditions, then why would he leave out prophesying? We can’t say he got tired in his writing as he mentioned both words in verses 4 and 5. So, what can we say about this? Just that Paul was giving us a couple of examples of how doing something HOLY or GODLY does not look right if the woman is uncovered, meaning not covered in long hair and the same goes for men when their heads are covered in long hair since that is exactly one is supposed to understand when reading verse 14.
Some will even say all the above, but if we carefully examine verse 15 it would seem that we would be getting a clearer picture of what was being referred to in the earlier verses when it mentions the words, “covered,” “cover” and “uncovered."
“But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her FOR a covering." KJV
If the covering is long hair, then the words “covered” or “cover” (which are synonymous with “covering”) should be understood as long hair as well.
Paul asks you to make a judgment call in verse 13 as if one should naturally see a problem because he asks you to:
"Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?"
Paul is asking us to make a judgment.
"Doth not even NATURE itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him." 1st Corinthians 11:14
Note that verses 13 and 14 are two consecutive questions both of which ask you to NATURALLY or NORMALLY ASSUME or JUDGE that there is something wrong: whether it be OBSERVING a woman’s uncovered head (a.k.a. short hair) while praying or OBSERVING a man having long hair.

I have recently started veiling full-time, after last summer i went to Orthodox monastery and every women were veiling. To me it felt so natural, respectful and beautiful! 💗
I also have Q’s:
-Do you veil full-time / what’s your thought of it?

During Prayer, it is said in islam, and obviously in Other religions too, do not kid me, that the Angels come to the people that are praying and collecting information about what they did.
So it is good manners to have a dresscode for prayers. (Exept in Bed with your husband!, close the windows the curatins and the doors xD)
And outside, it is 100% done for your husband. Because he would not want other men to fantasize about you
PS: Angels write out anything you do, yes even nonsense (those are the ones on your right and left shoulders)

(Verses 2-12)
For those interested, it's covered (pardon the pun!) In 1 Corinthians 11
My husband and I have studied the Greek a length and the word used for "covering" is translated back to your hair is your glory "for a covering" or "to be covered".

If a woman needs to touch and pick up something physical, before
acceptable communication with deity can happen, that would make
the fabric covering a talisman. Though the woman would not believe
she is using a talisman.
talisman (basic definition)- a piece of clothing (or other physical object) that is
believed to have spiritual (or magical) properties. The object will align
with your intention for its use. Every time you look at a talisman, your
mind will recall the original intention of its use, until wearing it becomes
a necessary ritual.
I have a little more, if desired.
Ooo I LOVE this video! I have tried to do it ALL and I can't! It is not meant for me. I am humbling myself under my husband's authority and God's authority. He is leading me to cover my head! Thank you for this video!
Ill tell you the reward.
God will send you love.
And your husband is going to be insanely in love with you.
I'm glad you discovered veiling and hope you still practice it.
I’m Mennonite and I approve this message:)
God bless you!
I have been praying about this exact subject and your video appears. I am a mother of 2 and I am modest in how I dress and have been praying about this and trying to figure out how to even start where to start. I believe this was my answer so I am planning to start covering my head. Any tips on where to start best materials and so forth. Thank you!

"From the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of Hosts." MALACHI 1:11
My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
For he has regarded
the lowliness of his handmaiden.
For behold, from now on,
all generations will call me blessed;
For he that is mighty has magnified me,
and holy is his Name.
And his mercy is on those who fear him,
throughout all generations.
He has shown the strength of his arm;
he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has brought down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted the humble and meek.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent empty away.
He, remembering his mercy, has helped his servant Israel,
as he promised to our fathers, Abraham and his seed for ever.
LUKE 1:46-55
My heart aches when I read the words of the Bible. So beyond beautiful. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
Thank you. I am planning to attend a service at an Orthodox Church and I want to make sure I don’t look funny. I never wore a veil before. God bless you, ma’am.
Ty it's so nice to see your video. I feel so alone here in Oklahoma. Please make more if you can.
You did a great job explaining how and why. I have never tried the magnets as I worry that I will lose one and a child may find it and swallow it. Have you ever lost one? I don't think it matters if we look like Muslems and in fact it may provide opportunity for conversations and witnessing. Be blessed and thanks for sharing. X
Thank you for this video . This is what God has put in my spirit

I went out for a little shopping bravely still wearing my head veil head covering yesterday.
I shave my head with my face and eyebrows, but i feel very confident wearing my head veil head covering it's not the bandana it's a head scarf possibly be a ladies but that hasn't never bothered me personally throughout my entire life.
I really Love watching your tutorial videos 😌🙏🪷
THANK YOU so much for your tutorial and explanation!! I was one of the people who requested this video. I did not know about the inner tube-like head covering which then helps keep the outer scarf in place! I was trying to experiment at home with covering my head and the scarf kept slipping off and also shifting all over the place and I was becoming discouraged and that is because I did not know about the inner covering.
I am not sure I have seen the turban style head covering. Anyway, thank you again and God bless you and your family 🙏☦️
I'm so glad it was helpful, I was afraid it wouldn't be lol so that makes me happy that it was. And thank you may God bless you and your family as well sister. 🙏 ❤️
@@righteousrebellion90 Where do I go to get the tube like scarf that holds the veil in place?
@@righteousrebellion90 Hello again. I am having a hard time finding the inner tube like scarf-can you please point me in the right direction? Thank you so much! ☦🙏
@@byzantineladybug9471 Google inner tube for head scarf. You can find many from many places. No matter where I bought mine from I washed them in Holy water and prayed over them when they came into my home. Sort of like baptizing them just to be safe. God bless.
I love your reasons, very beautiful.
I really Love wearing a headscarf Veil, i really Love watching and listening to your videos
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been going back & forth about daily head coverings for about 2 years now. It keeps coming up for me. And when I am in very deep/emotional prayer or high praise, I reach for anything around to cover my head. I think God is telling me something in Jesus’ name. Pray for me pls

Hey.. Is it necessary to veil outside church too?
Do you have a link to your veil?
Where do you get your infinity scarf and magnets from?
I wish to head cover.. I feel more secure in a way and find it so beautiful and simple. Where I'm from however it is not common at all, would draw attetion at first and I'm not sure I could handle that well.
Thank for this. You look beautiful and I also headcover. Don't feel like you have to explain the why.
I wanted something thats easy, nice, modest, humble, feminine and that can help me just get on the other thing that i need to do next. Thanks again!
I’m a Christian in the US with family and I’m just recently learning about this. I already have my scarf on right now and I will continue to do so knowing what I know now. I’m a little bit nervous to tell my mom and family. They are modern day Catholic/Christian’s. My mom has already told me I’m taking things “too far” because I choose not to celebrate Halloween anymore. Prayers for my family to understand Gods living words.
Sending prayers your way 🙏🙏🙏

A woman's long hair is the 'covering'.
If a fabric covering is actually required,
then all references to hair are
totally irrelevant to the subject.
It only can make sense if the
long hair of a woman is the 'covering'.
She should be covered, with her long hair.
To have short hair, like a man, means that
she is basically bald. Therefore uncovered.
Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family Joelle, my sweet friend. You are always in my prayers.
What material is the infinity scarf ... and the top scarf?
Im Arabic Orthodox Christian, i always get Muslim or asked. 99% of Christian women in America do not wear, but it is common of course in Middle East and Eastern Europe Christians.
Protestants, Catholics and other Christian denominations do not wear veils anymore as they are free, while Orthodox do it still, but I love the Orthodox livelihood.
Wow that second variation is excellent 👍🏽
I have been going through a great deal I had a accident at work and I started praying for God direction and I kept getting the thought to veil my head I thought I was going crazy until I I went in 2 high end stores both women that assisted me head was covered I knew it was direct confrontation from God. I have been in a better spiritual place since God is Awesome
I'm super interested in this. Can you give some good references in scripture and church history for head covering? Thank you

Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head.
-NASB version
If the above scripture means a turban, for example, why would God require the priests to
wear turbans? Paul certainly would have known about this and maybe seen it.
You shall speak to all the skillful people whom I have endowed with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may serve as priest to Me. And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a tunic of checkered work, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that he may serve as priest to Me.

Jesus prayed with something on His head while on the cross. A crown of thorns.
And they dressed Him in purple, and after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on Him; and they began saluting Him: “Hail, King of the Jews!”

And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.

*******************************************
At least twice a woman's hair was not only visible to Jesus Himself, but it touched Him. Neither woman was rebuked. Since Jesus didn't care about fabric head coverings why should we?
“Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven-for she loved much.
-excerpt Luke 7
Mary then took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, the one who intended to betray Him, said, “Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and the proceeds given to poor people?” Now he said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he kept the money box, he used to steal from what was put into it. Therefore Jesus said, “Leave her alone...

It can only mean the hair is the covering, as the NASB states here:

-Young's Literal Translation (YLT) 1 Corinthians 11 verse 13-15
************
No Old Covenant law requiring women to wear a fabric covering.
Therefore no Old Testament reference available.
1 Corinthians 11 starts with this:
...hold firmly to the traditions, just as I handed them down to you...
Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.
Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I handed them down to you.
There was no way to "hold firmly to the traditions" because you can't start a 'tradition' in a period of time that is just a few years.

If the covering was a physical covering, then hair length is

or no hair.

If a woman needs to touch and pick up something physical, before

the fabric covering a talisman. Though the woman would not believe

Also, can you share where you got this from online? Looks very light and comfortable!
Thank you for the tutorial!! I'm about to attend an Orthodox Church for the first time and wanted to be sure I'm covering correctly.
Where do you get your scarf and infinity scarf from?
I like the 3rd way. But I also wrap it around the bun and tie under it.
Nice tutorial. Many thanks. All the best to you.
Can you please make a video about where to get a headscarf and the different types? I’m new to it
Shein has a lot for cheap or mercari if you like used stuff search for hijab
Your wise and the strength of the Holy Spirit shines in you. Thank you.
Most people don’t realize that the original Christians wore scarves over their heads. Growing up in my church we would put a lace covering over our hair or wear a hat. I intend to start wearing hair coverings. I love the modesty.

Beautiful message. God bless you.
God Bless.
