Jeep JL Wrangler Cargo Shelf - American Adventure Lab M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf Installation - Part 2

- After drilling to align the misaligned holes as shown in Part 1, we proceeded to finish the install of the American Adventure Lab M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf!
The cargo shelf is not only sturdy, but it is also very functional, as the dog bone cut outs allow you to install tie down studs and even hooks to secure your cargo in place! The Black and Red combination also matches the black interior leather with red threads!
Furthermore, one of the amazing features is the adjustable height option! You never have to settle for a fixed height and it is easily adjusted up and down the cargo shelf brackets! The weight of the rack is not overly heavy, thanks to the combination of aluminium and steel components to make up the complete rack!

Great video. First detailed on I saw. I was thinking between this one and the Genright. I’ll probably go with this one only because the Genright sticks up to high. I’m going with same color combo you did. Only thing I’ll do differently is when installing bolts and nuts in the final step I will have the screw head be what shows and the nut will be hidden.
Hi! Yes the screws and nuts tightens in any orientation (: Having the screw cap showing instead of the nuts will indeed make the overall look neater (:
Hi .... Great great video to know how final product will look with installation. I already ordered mine weeks ago with same color for my JL and expecting it next week. Btw. Your video is 1st full installation video and shows how it will really looks like. Even American Adventures Lab dont have this detailed video.

Live your content.it looks like you can go up one more notch,except that you lose one bolt hole on each side.am I correct.I'm curious to know.also whats the height from the bottom of trunk to lowest part of the cargo shelf? I'm installing a subwoofer box that is 21.5" tall n 24in depth n not sure if the lliwest part of it would still hit the speakers? Thanx n keep up with the videos great work
How thick are the brackets? And are they aluminum?
Also how thick is the shelf surface? Is it aluminum?

Mate , I have a serious question and with all due respect, you've got all this gear but Singapore is so small. Where do you go wheeling/ overlanding???
Hi! We actually head across the border to Malaysia, where there is an abundant range of off-road opportunities (: I am hoping to capture some of the trips for the JL Journey segment but due to COVID-19, borders are closed!
@@jeepjournal8248 ah I see mate. I’m a Singaporean living in Australia and currently overlanding setup with my JL. I was thinking of bringing it back to Singapore but realise there’s no overlanding opportunities in Singapore 😂
@@seantan2912 Oic! Well yes you're right Singapore's too urbanised and small to have any overlanding opportunities, but I am planning to do a drive up to Phuket or even just a food trip to Malacca! I lived in the US for some time and had a great time tinkling with my TJ and that's why I bought a Jeep when I came back to Singapore!
