@fty-ys4ni I was just waiting for that reply..... 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ almost EVERY product has globally sourced parts/components... the honor comes from the fact that they give hard working Americans jobs and fuel our economies and not just pull money from them...
I ABSOLUTELY loved watching this video!!! Thanks so much to Brad and Jeep for making this possible. A big thank you to those working that line at Toledo making our beloved Wrangler for so many. Thanks again Brad.
Great film Brad. So glad to see you in Michigan where the Jeep was born. My Uncle, Red Hausmann was a test driver for the original Military Jeep project and is credited with naming the Jeep. He's the guy that drove the test vehicle up the Capitol steps. When you see some old pictures, he's usually the one driving the Jeep over obstacles and wearing a Fedora. He also took part in developing the Civilian Jeep ,1945, and arranged to extract one of the original prototype chassis, serial number 003, from the factory for my Dad. Dad put a new body on it and it remains in the family ever since. I grew up driving that jeep in the woods back in the 50's when I was in grade school. My Dad, Eugene Hausmann, also worked at a Willys Overland offshoot that customized jeeps for Military Ambulances during the war. He was a Body Man. Always enjoy your videos. Chuck Hausmann
I love watching vehicle manufacturing videos, especially regarding the differences in levels of automation between large production facilities and boutique manufacturers. For those of us who grew up with and love Jeeps, this was especially fun to see. It was also cool, and understandable, to see how emotional the experience was for you. 😊 The footage of the giant robots at the beginning of the video made me think of visiting dinosaur exhibitions in museums as a kid, except these guys were alive (and highly domesticated)!
Brad, thanks for taking us along on the Jeep tour. What an amazing opportunity. Factory-tour videos often have very bland narration , so it's wonderful to see your genuine enthusiasm at the end of the video, that's how I would be.
This and the prior video at the proving grounds were just amazing! Many thanks to Jeep for providing you this access. And many thanks to you for sharing the videos with us.
You ARE a true Ambassador for the Jeep brand. I'm not surprised if some of those in high places at Jeep have seen or subscribe to TrailRecon. I'm sure they see you as quite the knowledgeable marketing guru for all us weekend trail drivers and new overlanders. Great video. I too love the channel, "How it's made," and this was quite the treat.
I greatly envy you for having had this opportunity to visit the Jeep Wrangler assembly plan in Toledo! I've been following your UA-cam channel for a few years now, but for whatever reason, I hadn't found this video of your tour of the factory assembly plant until today. Superb tour of the Wrangler's manufacturing plant! Thank you very much for this, and thanks to Jeep, too, for having you---of all Jeep owners---make this video! This truly was perfection all the way around! Andy McKane, 31 October 2023, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.
I'm amazed how all the correct parts come together when they are supposed to considering all the available options. Also brings back great memories following my 2017 Corvette along the assembly line when it was built at Bowling Green. Took a day and a half. Thank you Brad!
Fascinating tour. As a programmer, I was impressed with the systems design and intricate dance of assembly. As a Jeep enthusiast it was really cool to see what goes into our machines and all the hidden bits that we never see.
You and your family have given us many hours of wheeling fun. But this ,in my opinion was the best of the best. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
Thanks, I watched this while sitting here in our Rubicon 4xe in the rain. No leaks in this one -- great to see quality control and great manufacturing process for the most capable and awesome PHEV.
I worked in an assembly plant (retired). I worked in the quality department and also worked in weld repair . Your video brings back a lot of memories . It wasn't (unfortunately) Jeeps that the plant I worked at built, but the layout and processes are the same . Thanks for the video. Wild Bill Adventures North.
No absolutely not . But human beings not being infallible make mistakes , and when you are making hundreds of thousands of vehicles and the line moving 24/7 stuff does slip by , and this is true of all makes all factories.
I was sad at first to see no humans involved. Thankfully there were some mid way through. They are still great machines they just dont have the heritage they had before. Thamks for the video.
Hats off to it being a Stellantis company. They are only in Toledo until the tax breaks expire. In another two years, corporate will close and relocate that plant
Thank you for your video - great job. Back "in the day", both my wife and I worked for suppliers for the new Saturn plant in Spring Hill, TN. She in particular had access to the entire site and seeing your video brought back many memories of the best time of her career. She stated that in that role, she felt complete pride in her role of producing a quality product for customers both on the shop floor and ultimately on the roads. You mentioned the coordination of components needed to build the vehicles which is also an amazing process, maintaining enough supply to make the production process hum without creating an overabundance of inventory. I don't know the production rates in Toledo but would be willing to bet that the on-site supply is probably equal to a couple of hours of production, not days or weeks worth. I would invite you to visit other production facilities when you can and report on them - American manufacturing is an amazing process that consumers should see.
I live a few miles from the Spring Hill plant. It’s going to be twice the size, well it kind of already is. They added a battery plant and an EV plant and it should be operational 2024 or 2025. And my neighbor works there. What I’ve heard from him, I’ll never buy a GM made product.
Such an exciting glimpse into how much work goes into making each Wrangler! And Brad, you're the perfect ambassador for the rest of us enthusiasts...What a great experience! Thank you!
Wow. I can watch these being built all day. Totally speaks to my inner child. Also seeing everything as individual pieces coming together builds a better understanding of my own jeep and help planning my future mods.
The automation in these assembly plants is mind blowing. With all the options, colors available, still all comes together with the units being at the right place at the right time
I have watched a lot of factory tours, By far you did the best at the flow of how it starts and finishes. Not jumping all over. one minute tires going on the next is engine going in then back to axles being installed. Thanks for actually going with the flow.
Brad, you are like the luckiest guy in the world! And for many different reasons but this has to be icing on the cake! Thanks for taking us along with you and your lifestyle!
Omg this is so amazing Brad. You must have been like a little kid with excitement lol, I know I am just watching this. Love the video. Amazing you got to go there and they actually let you film this, so cool. Ive always wanted a Wrangler since my first year in college (1991) and I finally bought one in May 2021. It’s a2017 JK 2 dr and I absolutely ❤❤❤it. Thank you for this video and for your Service.
I am being sucked in to being a Jeep owner. I'm falling for the vehicle, the culture and the history. Ford be damned, I think I'll order a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon!!! Love it. Great video Brad.
When you see the effort and precision that goes into every vehicle, it makes you think twice about hard off road driving. But that’s what they are built for! I love mine!👍
Such a cool video thanks! I’m always amazed how things are built and when you think about it , it all comes from raw materials and chemicals somewhere that’s been refined, then created into a product
The plant sure didn't look like that when my CJ rolled off the line. That's impressive to see the components and major assemblies separately. Carmakers have extracted every little bit of efficiency out of the build process. I saw people riding bikes around and it's nice to see the American flag at the end of the assembly line. It's about time Jeep really got on the factory custom market. Those accessories are relatively cheap to built but have big profit margins.
Oh my gosh! Master Blaster you have outdone yourself! This was so incredible and to see the folks working with their hands and technology that goes in to making these is just amazing. There are sections that I watched again and again, just wonderful to experience. Just to think, even the assemblies you showed going together were assembled BEFORE they got to this point. I am even more proud to be a Jeep owner! Semper Fi fellow Devil Doc!
Brad, You have presented to the world the fascinating Jeep Wrangler made in America. I am in the process of ordering a 2024 Willys model for light off roading and to travel across the country. Jeep runs in our family and we owned from CJ2s and a Jeep Willys Station Wagon (1959) that was manufactured in Toledo! This last one has AZ plates. Please continue your wonderful work showing us these magnificent American vehicles and the beautiful places that you off-road.
I’ve never clicked so fast before

So awesome to see how my Wrangler was made ❤️

“assembled” in america
@fty-ys4ni I was just waiting for that reply..... 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ almost EVERY product has globally sourced parts/components... the honor comes from the fact that they give hard working Americans jobs and fuel our economies and not just pull money from them...
I would rather see made in Japan on my vehicle.
@@fty-ys4ni Exactly.
@@lonesomecricket7721 You're free to move there anytime you want to.
Fascinating to watch. BIG Thanks to all those working at the Toledo Assembly Complex for building our Jeeps, and thanks to Brad for giving us a peek.
Thank you for appreciating what we do in manufacturing. 💙
Brad, WHAT an Honor for you to be allowed to film this !!!! And SUCH an honor that you could show US !!!! A MILLION Thanks !!!
Go Jeep,

I ABSOLUTELY loved watching this video!!! Thanks so much to Brad and Jeep for making this possible. A big thank you to those working that line at Toledo making our beloved Wrangler for so many. Thanks again Brad.
JEEP is an emotion! 🇺🇸 ❤

I'm envious of your upbringing compadre.
Fantastic, thank you Brad for taking us along; I need a JEEP!

Thanks to you and Jeep!
Wow what a privilege as a Jeep UA-camr to get to share this event. I sure wish Jeep loved me as much as they love you. Great video!
Brad, thanks for taking us along on the Jeep tour. What an amazing opportunity. Factory-tour videos often have very bland narration , so it's wonderful to see your genuine enthusiasm at the end of the video, that's how I would be.
It is also better at 2 times the speed!
thanks Brad for letting us share your tour of the Jeep manufacture plant,..i am sure you are enjoying it!!,..awesome!!
Thanks Brad for taking us on the tour and to Jeep for allowing us an insight onto the vehicles we all love .... made in the USA

My grandfather worked at a GM plant until 1988. Takes me back to when I was a kid getting to visit that plant. Love this!
That’s so awesome thanks for visiting the factory. My great grandpa worked there for 35 years. Retired in the early 80s. I heard he was a legend.
Bet he didn't dress like that?

It was nice seeing Katskins making the interior. They do such a nice job. Great people there!
Wow Brad, what an amazing video! Thank you for all your hard work to make this happen.
I’ve owned many different generations of Wranglers.
I loved them all & being built at a single plant made them all the more special
Just got my new Wrangler yesterday evening and today morning got this video on my screen. Perfect timing :) Thank you.

Having worked at a Honda plant for the past 29yrs it was cool seeing how my Gladiator is built. Thanks for the tour Brad!
Mesmerizing. Love it
This is one of the coolest inside looks I've ever seen. It's also super cool to see how many women there are building them too.
Oh wow!! I pass this factory all the time and have always wanted to know what it looked like inside!! How cool!!
Great video Brad. Love watching the assembly process. Well done. Thanks.
Jeep has such a loyal fan base, they should do public tours of their factory like Ford does in Detroit, would be awesome!
Never gets old.. love watching the building process
That's awesome! Glad you were able to share this!
Brad, thanks for taking us along for the tour - completely awesome!!
Thanks for the letting us ride along with you, as a WJ owner of almost 20 years, I'm looking to switch up to a JK 4d. 😊😊😊
Thank for sharing this amazing experience I’m in complete awe. Out of all the assembly lines I’ve watched this was coolness.
Mind Blown. Thanks for the glimpse Brad.

I'm with you and your 5 year old! I'm a total nerd for seeing how things are made!
Thanks to you for putting this together and the hardworking Americans at the Toledo AC for making dreams come true!😎
What a treat for you and for us. Thanks for making this happen Brad. Woot!
I am being sucked in to being a Jeep owner. I'm falling for the vehicle, the culture and the history. Ford be damned, I think I'll order a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon!!! Love it. Great video Brad.
Had one of the first Rubies
Then bought one of the last LJs
Also a Rubicon, 06, still drive it😊
P.S.
Son loves his 22 Gladiator
Rubicon 😊😊
I have to say, it's a lot of fun to watch this whole assembly line! thanks for sharing that with us.
When you see the effort and precision that goes into every vehicle, it makes you think twice about hard off road driving. But that’s what they are built for!
I love mine!👍
Wow what a great video 👍. I think I could watch this several times over 😃. That custom shop is awesome 👍
Loved to tour that assembly plant! Toured the Wrangler Assembly plant when they were built in Brampton, Ontario.
Brad, Thanks for sharing. As an obsessed Jeep fanatic, this was very cool footage to see how the Jeep is made.
I always liked watching these kinds of videos.
Such a cool video thanks! I’m always amazed how things are built and when you think about it , it all comes from raw materials and chemicals somewhere that’s been refined, then created into a product
First time in an assembly plant? Glad you enjoyed it. Good to see a American Plant humming along! bought a New Gladiator last month!

Perhaps because your CJ was built at the old plant on North Cove.
Amazing to think all of those will belong to someone soon...very cool!
Totally cool watching the process of robots in action. Comparing that to the processes of the past, amazing
Oh my gosh! Master Blaster you have outdone yourself! This was so incredible and to see the folks working with their hands and technology that goes in to making these is just amazing.
