    This video shows single phase to three phase VFD to make the motor forward and reverse in terminal control mode(push button switch control/3 wire control).This method can start and stop the motor without approaching the VFD.
    Parameter settings in the video: P0.3=1, P4.02=9, P4.08=2
    Other basic settings video, • Run a 3-phase motor on...

    I’m thinking about using a relay turned on by my 120v side of circuit. Switch on triggers relay for 240v. Would be nice not to have several switches.

    I just bought a model EM15-sp1s1-1d5 /1ph 120v ac input -1.5kw 1ph/3ph 0~220v ac 7a output vfd for my wood lathe.
    this video shows a vfd with different terminals then the one I got and not sure which terminals to use for forward - reverse ..
    none of the terminals are labeled for. rev. or X ...

      I did not know the model you are using; but this has a dedicated VFD, such as ATO 1-phase input to 3-phase output VFD, www.ato.com/single-phase-to-three-phase-vfd

    is your "switch" (green button switch) momentarily on or it "toggles" between on and off at each press?

    • @ATOcom
      @ATOcom  4 роки тому +3

      In the video, the green button at 2:07 is a self-locking button (it is always ON after being pressed), and the green button on the rear control box is an auto-reset button (ON when pressed, and OFF when not pressed).

      @@ATOcom OK so the one on the 2:07min. is a ON/OFF normally open and the "Green and White" on the yellow box are Momentarily Normally Open. What is the rate of amperage and voltage for the switches on the yellow box? Thanks in advance.

    Hi i just purchased a GK3000 single phase in and out for my 3hp lathe motor. Do you have a similar scamatic for me to use so I can make a enclosure to use. The only difference I need is I want to put a variable knob on the lathe and I want to use a joystick up for forward and down for reverse. Please if you can send me a scamatic.

      @@ATOcom yes this helps but I have other questions not answered yet, this video is still for 3phase correct? I have single phase in and out. Am I gonna need the dc converter? And what about a scamatic for a joystick for forward and reverse control?

    • @ATOcom
      @ATOcom  3 роки тому

      @@DemiFlower1010 1. Yes, the video is applicable to all GK3000-2S series (including single-phase output, three-phase output VFD), but it should be reminded that single-phase motors are not suitable for long-term operation below 80% of the rated speed because single The centrifugal switch of the phase motor will not be cut off at low speed, leading to the risk of burning the motor.
      2. At present, the forward and reverse rotation of the motor can only be controlled by button, panel, and modbus communication. You can use the VFD in combination with the two videos you see.
      3. What is your purpose of using DC converter?
      4. If you encounter more troubles, please contact our after-sales team, www.ato.com/contactus

      @@ATOcom I'm not interested in the dc converter I just keep seeing it in most the videos. I purchased this for my lathe as I said it's 3hp motor. So if I set this up like I see in those couple videos how long are you saying my motor Will last? And why would single phase input and output vfd control be made if its no good for your motor? Should I return it and purchase a single phase in and 3phase out and get a 3phase motor instead? I idid not know these were not good for single phase motors or I would not of purchased. Because On a lathe I'll probably be using the lathe speed less than 80 percent speed all the time so my motor will not last long your saying correct?

    • @ATOcom
      @ATOcom  3 роки тому

      @@DemiFlower1010 1. The low-speed operation time of each brand of single-phase motor is different, which depends on its heat dissipation performance and the separation speed of the centrifugal switch.
      2. Single-phase input & output VFD is suitable for single-phase motors that do not run at low speed for a long time, to adjust speed or reduce the impact of the motor on the power grid.
      3. If your motor has a long-term use speed lower than 80% of the rated speed without matching the reducer, I suggest that you purchase a three-phase motor and use it with a single-phase input to three-phase output VFD (when running at low speeds, Note that the motor can dissipate heat in time)

    Hi sir can you give me idea how to run motor with vfd 10 hz to 50hz repeatedly

    • @ATOcom
      @ATOcom  2 роки тому

      You mean run at 10Hz for a while, then run at 50Hz for a while, and so on?
      1. You can use VFD two-stage speed control mode + 2 time relays, and connect a group of multi-function terminals after each time.
      2. You can use PLC to build control logic to activate a certain speed at regular intervals. VFD can choose multi-speed control or directly control VFD frequency by Modbus communication.

      24VDC is a safe voltage and 220VAC is a dangerous voltage. In the application of automation equipment, the safe voltage is usually used to control the dangerous voltage.
