Ah yes blood sugar can play a HUGE role in PCOS. Getting a CGM should absolutely help you understand your body better, which can help reduce PCOS symptoms

Hi, Marissa. How are you? Hope you're doing well and there's some improvement with your skin. I've resolved my eczema flare! I'm so happy about that, it was totally unexpected! I was scrolling through UA-cam and one short caught my eye: some oils like avocado and olive may be fake or made from rotten sources, so I've decided to eliminate olive oil that i was using. And that was it! It never crossed my mind that olive oil can have such an effect on me. I was feeling constantly tired through all summer and finally I feel good again. Also I've eliminated camomile tea, it seems that it adds some inflammation, but I'll test it again. I've watched some of your videos from november and you said that you have some problems with gums, I also have them when I'm eating some vegetable oils that high in omega-6, like sunflower oil. Maybe it'll be helpful, but i think you're already not eating such oils 😀 Also I'm kinda following antihistamine diet, but I'm doing diary and elimination, so if something not causing any symptoms, I'm eating it again. So I'm eating chocolate, it causes some acne sometimes, but not eczema. Also I soak nuts for several hours in fridge before eating, they're tastier this way and maybe healthier 🤷♀️ I've asked about therapy last time but didn't see that you've answered😅 I'm thinking about possible psychological causes of my problems like psychosomatic eczema, so I'm interested in your thoughts on that.
wow thats amazing that you were able to pinpoint that and fix your skin issues! I personally always buy high quality oils so I don't think my oil use is causing any of my issues. But I'm happy to hear that you've been able to reintroduce chocolate! That gives me hope!
Oh! I meant that triggers for eczema can be whatever for whatever reason, it just needs to be tested 😅 I don't really think the oil was bad, it doesn't taste or smell bad, and it didn't give me inflated gums, so I don't know if it's really bad, fake or maybe it's my personal intolerance. Before that I was using avocado oil, maybe I'll come back to it. I wanted to say that searching for triggers is really benefiting. I was doing diary and elimination for a long time and it didn't make sense why my eczema triggered by some foods, but when I've read about high histamine it all made sense, so I've excluded all fermented foods and instantly felt a lot better. You don't need to wait for 30 days, skin gets better literally over night, the swelling goes down a lot and you finally can bend hands and fingers, cuts take several days to heal 😢
@@lgyulieva Ugh hearing you say it should get better overnight is super discouraging lol because my skin has barely improved and it's been 2.5 weeks strictly low histamine. I don't have super high hopes at this point that it's going to work D: But I'm still going to stick it out for the 30 days just to be 100% sure
@@MissFitAndNerdymaybe incorporate some changes? You're so knowledgeable and know so many kinds of diets, so you can make your own rules. You can try add something or exclude something. There's difference between what you eat in your trips and at home. I think that eczema totally gut related and it's about diet (stress and sleep too). If our gut is happy, skin will be happy too 😂 Hope you'll find your solution soon! Eczema is really exhausting.
You might be able to eat white chocolate as it has cocoa butter instead of straight chocolate. Maybe have some of that with some raspberries for dessert? Also, you could just eat low glycemic fruit for dessert. I would imagine it has the same effect as chocolate would, or could be even better for your blood sugar. Especially if you add cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and cloves. ❤ you might also be able to just make a pumpkin spice nut milk sweetened with monk fruit. ✨ ❤
I hope this helps! But remember that my body might respond differently from yours so a CMG could be really helpful if you're having blood sugar issues!
According to a recent review on the application of bee pollen, “pollen has an antiallergic activity. It protects mast cells of the organisms from degranulation that is from releasing histamine which is the exponent of allergic reactions.” Probably for the same reason consuming honey helped people with season allergies
Also your spike could just be your body, a meal one time could be great and the same meal next time could not be. It all depends on how your body decides to digest
Hey marissa just wanted to ask is it possible for a person who has eaten 1000 calories for 2-3years to reverse diet and hit maintainence? Please do reply .🙏
Yes! Definitely! But I do recommend getting help while doing it if you want to avoid weight gain since you’ll have a significant way to go. But it’s absolutely possible! Let me know if you have any questions about my course Reverse Dieting 101! It will definitely help you!
This is so helpful. I have PCOS and have been trying to figure out blood sugar balance. Thank you!

Ooooo yes cacao butter is low histamine! I actually have a fresh bag of it in my pantry. Maybe I'll add that in! Thanks!

Ooh, thank you for this video. I was wondering what good foods to eat for help with A1c levels. But thank you friend for this info.

What if you don’t have the luxury of going to bed 9 hours before you need to be up
Then go to bed 8 hours before but make sure you're diligent about it
plz make video on eczema diet plan
Can n you do a video on how to use levels
I totally thought bee pollen would be high histamine. Are you still doing the low histamine diet? If so do you know why bee pollen is low histamine?

@@MissFitAndNerdy ah makes sense now. Thanks for replying.

Isn't seeds and nuts kind of off the table since you're doing AIP?
I’m not doing AIP I was doing low histamine. I haven’t been on AIP since 2019 haha
11:30 what is the mobility routine? It looks great very natural
I just have a library of little mobility exercises that I've curated (just saving posts on IG and pinterest) and pick exercises as I go

@@MissFitAndNerdy how long will it take if i dont have an access to gym just dumbells upto 2 - 10 kgs , how much weight gain is expected ?
My confusion is you do so many different things. But doesn't one outbeat the other meaning? If you have diabetes, can you actually do AIP?
Eat a bowl of ice cream and see what the data shows!!!
Every body is different so your perfect blood sugar isn't the same as someone else's
Yup! That's exactly why a CGM is soooo helpful and why I highly recommend one, especially if you have blood sugar issues
She’s not telling you to eat this way😂 wth this is just what works well for her
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
marissa, 100 is high tbh
