Taekwon-Do Demonstration Captivates Over 200 Students at Hastings Christian School
In an exciting showcase of martial arts mastery, the NZ ITF Taekwon-Do demonstration team brought the power and precision of the original Korean self-defense system to Hastings Christian School. Over 200 students, ranging from years 1-8, were treated to a dynamic display of the original ITF Taekwon-Do, featuring impressive wood breaking, self-defense techniques, and synchronized team routines.
The performance left a lasting impression, with many students eagerly engaging and asking insightful questions about the art. As a memorable keepsake, the leftover wood 20mm thick smashed to pieces during the demonstrations-was gifted to the enthusiastic audience. Some students even requested signatures from the team members on their pieces of wood, a testament to the connection formed between the students and the martial artists.
