Got one, used it for several months and the claw snapped off pulling out a bang in or nail pin. Wiha didn’t support the hammer return or replacement. Went with ideal after that. Great hammer so far.
I bought this about two years back and use it basically all the time, barely use my regular hammer now and am now the king of awkward clipping :) and red is my favourite colour, that's the main point...use it for spacing clips too most times
Great video. Different hammers are designed for different trades, certain weights/ head angle/ claw or ball types ( apart from a general hammer). I'm a licenced plumber and electrician. I have a bricklayers hammer because I find the chisel handy for digging dirt and chipping brick and concrete. I have a separate mini crowbar for pulling nails and prising. Cheers!
Had one for a few years now but mine is under the brand name Hulfators and the handle is black. Strange how the Hulfators one is sold as a 500g hammer and the Wera is sold as a 300g hammer..pretty sure they are just the same..I do have both to compare. They are spot on as an electricians hammer though.
hello, I think you should have put a piece of " rubber " sheet behind the hammer, when you were levering that thing off a tiled wall, unless it does not matter if they get damaged. and bashing in rawl plugs, try tapping them in, past the thickness of the tile, and it will not be prone to cracking the tile, when a tapered screw get home. nobody is born knowing any thing, but experience, or pasased on knowlegde will help.
Cable clips must be WAY easier to drive than Romax staples or hanging nail-on boxes. I’ll stick with my 18oz (510g) Klein hammer. It doesn’t fit in my Veto but I wouldn’t be without it.
Plastic clips with one single galvanized nail. They come in different shapes for different shapes of cables, for round cables or the british twin-and-earth which is more flattened. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/54/Nagelschelle_1.jpg
I use a Estwing 15oz framing hammer, it has a similar shape. This looks like it would be easier to wield under a kitchen cabinet than your average “knocking spanner”, when clipping under cupboard lights, or such in similar confined spaces.
UA-cam this is why I don't watch this channel stop recommending it to me now I want this hammer. I do have to say I went out and got a couple of those shorty hammers they are wonderful and I have barely used them. PS a little tip the ball peen hammers if that's the right name with the round ball instead of the claw work really good for knocking out Knockouts in u.s. boxes!
Hi Jordan. As an older apprentice I really enjoy the content you have on here and Instagram (both Tools & Artisan). Just wondering if you actually use all the tools you review or just have them gathering dust? Cheers
I have a Tech MCT and put the hammer through one of the strap rings so it is on the outside of the bag. Easy to access, and does not take up room in the bag
Just saw these and im considering one. I use a bacho 12" electricians tote, and my normal hammer (just a standard 16oz £10 hammer) flops about when its in the top section and when its in the bottom after removing the screwbox that comes with the bag it bulges out the side making it hard to zip up. But these look quite interesting
@@Tools4Sparks its a good hammer, carpenters i work with up here use them. Good balance, 16 oz. I just got a stiletto 14 oz and hickoryhandle. Havnt done much hammering latley, but now and then its full on.
Let's reinvent the wheel?... lol..looks good, but a hammer is a hammer really? I never hit rawl plugs with the metal part, that can crack tiles. The end of my "normal hammer" does the same thing. The flat cut out on the head seems a good idea, but is it really gonna be used that much? even the flatter curve for getting clips out in tight spaces?...you didn't really need that feature to remove the clips in your demo Jordan?... a pry bar does the same thing. are you being sponsored dude? ;-) I'm not liking these sponsored videos. Keep it real Jordan, your'e better than than that. No offence.:-)
This video was not sponsored and even if I do sponsored videos I always give my true opinion on both the positive and negative points. I thought the same like a hammer is just a hammer but I was pleasantly surprised with how great this is.

Every Electrician I know uses their pliers as their hammer.
Or an adjustable spanner 😊
Love how its a description then leads into practical use
Had one for about 6 years now. Good hammer for clipping, nice and light
Got one, and I use it every day. A must have for any sparky

Thanks for the info!
As a plumber I’ve been eyeing them thinking the same. Thank you gonna grab one now
Is that hammer solid metal throughout, like an estwing, with the handle coated? Or is the handle hollow tube and affixed to the head?

I didn't even know Wiha made hammers,, great video btw,,
Subbed on the strength of this video,, 👍

there is a 50 mm of hard plastic just below the head so you can tap shelves /steel units etc great review
Thanks!
Hickory handled, square headed, hammer £6 from Lidl. Use angle grinder to cut V in head. Sorted 😎
Nice one!
I defo want one , I only know of one vendor in North America who has them , I may end up ordering one from the UK , or EU .
Wow, first video of you i was watching now. And this is fucking amazing. You show clips where you use this hammer. It was short but on point!!!!
I suppose using the head of the hammer on the wall plugs into tiles good damage them, great idea for the base of the handle
Absolutely
Got one this week really nice hammer nicely weighted and balanced in the hand fits well into my ck Tool bag
Awesome yeah I love it!
Thank you for the review!
Got one.. love it.😍💪🏻 Thanks jordan.
Awesome!
We love your channels! It's fun to see some of the different brands we don't see here in the states.
Thanks!

Yeah I use them a lot! Thanks for watching!
Love to have one someday.
They’re grea
Was going to get one a while back but didn’t think it would fit into my tech mct, wondered if it fits nicely into your veto?
Yeah it fits perfect in the tech MCT
I have a Tech MCT and put the hammer through one of the strap rings so it is on the outside of the bag. Easy to access, and does not take up room in the bag
@@t2ringer Nice tip thanks!
Bought one to go in my second gen Vito bag😂😂
Hi Jordan,
Got a tech Mct myself and was wondering if this hammer fits in 1 of the narrower vertical pockets in the bag?
Yes it does!
@@Tools4Sparks That's brilliant, I shall be ordering 1 tonight 😁😁 my only gripe with the MCT is the tight squeeze with a standard hammer

Yeah I really love it, just the right size and perfectly balanced, feels great in the hand too.
Good videos 👌🏼really enjoy
Thanks
Is 13 inches tall ?
Class review mate 👌🙂

Симпатичный, но, вероятно, очень дорогой.
Do you live in the Uk
Yes!
Ha. The only times I have ever heard someone say "electricians hammer," they were making a joke about linesman's pliers.
👍
Thanks!
That dishwasher room looks just as crap as the one at my work
Yep!
So this seems to be a shameless copy of Hultafors electricians hammer, even the Commercial seems to be a direct copy.
Same as the Hultafors hammer but only 75% the cost.
Its a copy of Hultafors 😄
Yeah you’re right

@@Tools4Sparks fair enough, I'm kind of attached to my 30 year old claw hammer 🔨😂
