Ingredients for skin (皮料):
250g glutinous rice flour (糯米粉)
30g tapioca flour (木薯粉)
1 tbsp caster sugar (细砂糖)
2 tbsp oil (油)
240ml pandan juice ( 5 pandan leaves blended with 240ml of water) 班兰水 (5片班兰叶加入240毫升水打烂)
Filling (馅料):
200g white grated coconut (白椰丝)
60g palm sugar (椰糖)
40g caster sugar (细砂糖)
50ml water (水)
1 pandan leaf, knotted (1片班兰叶,打结)
1/4 tsp salt (盐)

Hi. Tq for sharing the recipe. Can I omit the tapioca starch if I don’t have it and can I still boil the dough without the tapioca flour. Tq
Tq for sharing your recipe. I followed every step when you boiled the dough. The first knead was very smooth but after adding the boiled dough I couldn’t need knead it at all cos it got very very sticky. Ended up adding lots of flour.

do you have the recipe the savoury one with glutinous rice fillings?
That is a Teochew cake which is pink in colour and it is called "ang to guê" red peach cake - 紅桃粿 or just "to guê 桃粿" peach cake and some people call it "bung guê 飯粿" rice cake. If you can read Chinese, there are lots of recipes in the Internet.

可以用花生,红豆沙,玉米, 黑芝麻。。什么都可以啦。。original one is not even coconut . Original version is using mung bean.

If you use only uncooked dough, the cake will be much less elastic.
