StellaRhyme3 You don’t seem to understand that ghost recon used to be a military simulator style shooter not an arcade shooter. You can change gameplay and keep the game realistic but the only reason they did this was for casuals like you. If I had to guess your first ghost recon game was Wildlands. Also just because you don’t have issues doesn’t mean everyone else doesn’t, quit being a fan boy and realize this game was half assed and isn’t worth more then a few pennies.
I just want to share my experience with the Shepherd or ‘Convoy Truck.’ My buddy and I just came out from killing the guys in the construction site. We walk out and a convoy is heading down the road. So U took out the first truck, while I am shooting the third and him the second (The big truck), it starts to fly into the air and everywhere. Hit me and him a couple times but was as beautiful as a bee as it flung through the air, keeping our loot from us. 😭🤣

I agree, some people are too fast at judging. Like the ones who give a restaurant with amazing food, amazing style a 1 star because the service was slow. Get real guys
I just tried to approach it like a Division spinoff. It's got its problems, which aren't hard to find. My first 5 minutes playing, I was already disappointed asf. But I kept playing, hoping it would get better. And for me, it did. I eventually began to enjoy it amidst its flaws. We few who appreciate the game just need to keep hush. They shot below the bar on this, and even if some of us are content with that, we shouldn't let them get comfortable with making that the new norm.
Yeah, it kinda makes sense if you put it that way. But it established itself as "wildlands sequel" so i played it, expected better wildlands, but got this mess instead.
@@klauserji that's what I expected as well, but seeing how different it was and seeing the new gear score style progression system, I changed my perspective on it and it helped a little. Still Ghost Recon, but like... Ghost Division...Recon...
Theres a reddit post that explains hoe I (and most) people feel about the game. On one side it shows what Breakpoint is trying to be with games like Borderlands, Destiny, Anthem, with drones and microtransacrions and the other side shows what the game should try to be with games like the first Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six 3, Arma 3, Squad, Insurgency Sandstorm, SOCOM 1, SWAT 4 and Escape From Tarkov.
What I really liked about your review was how "raw" it was. No sugar coating, yet you go on to give the game some praise where it deserves it. Well said. I like your style. Even got some good humor in there as well. I had more than a few chuckles while watching your review. Kudos
Wildlands was dope. I finished the game twice just to prove haha I just bought Breakpoint, and it still has improvements to be done. It's super fun, but I notice that most, if not all missions require you to clear a base. Things like that do make the game feel repetitive, and tiring sometimes. Also certain things from Wildlands should have made it to this game, like the offline teammates (edit: i heard they are coming in the next patch).
There’s only two major things that shies me away from playing this game more the always online system and no AI team mates for the time being anyway. Other than that the game is just okay at best in my opinion doesn’t do anything that’s like GOTY by no means though that’s for sure.
yes i agree with you. after the community survey, i'm really excited for AI Squadmates. Do you think it will help us do raids without having 4 players with you all the time?
The thing that kills this game for me is the fact that you have to cycle to get to the team orders menu...WHY. No reason not to keep the controls for team C2 easily accessible like in Wildlands. That part it just baffling to me and the reason I have not come back to the game and I just play Wildlands instead.
This was and still is one of the buggiest games I’ve ever played. I played Wildlands and loved it, this game seemed like something they quickly threw together in order to capitalize on and make as much money possibly off the success of Wildlands.
One bug you didn’t mention is that there are random place on the map with neon lights coming from the ground and if you stand in them you character and their weapons will be neon color too.
I have to say I agree with you on most things in this video except for the story I thought it was absolute trash this timeit was not nearly as long as the last one and the last one at least made you feel something this one I felt very melancholy the entire storyand then to force players to pay for the DLC just to get the rest of the story is absolutely ridiculous for a game that so buggy and f***** up the first game in my opinion was way better than the trash they just put out and I'm super disappointed cuz I waited a very long time for this and bought it day one
I hope you re-review this game eventually, maybe after a year or so of patches and updates, because I really enjoy your optimistic approach to reviewing these Ghost Recon games. My buddy and I are still finishing up Wildlands (we were a little late to the party) and eventually will want to try Breakpoint.... But only after more patching and fixing. Apparently the new Immersive Mode they just added helps a lot? Anyways funny reviews man! 👍
I don't mind the looter shooters if the progression and teiring are dialed in. I remember getting stuck about 3/4 way through the first division and I just could not progress because there was a 4-5 level difference between my weapons and he enemies and I just could not kill anyone and I couldn't find any matching level weapons. Had alot of fun with it but it's hard to keep playing a game you can't progress in because of bad design
this is just a copy of the division. just like assassins creed..... every game of them is the same like i thought fifa was bad but they just release the same game once a year. UBI is doing it with different titles LOL
So I played the demo, and haven't played, except for a random free weekend. But I'm getting into right now in July 2020, it seems like some of the bugs are working their way out. It certainly runs a boat load better then it used to.
A friend of mine offered it to me for free and I declined. This is how bad this game is. Hell -- I doubt I'd even play it for a million dollar to be honest.
Breakpoint is fun but it's missing immersion features like having car radios, having civilians roaming in the world/on the roads, having memorable characters, having banter with AI teammates etc, it just feels like a 'dead' version of Wildlands
that "mission failed" popup in wildlands was not a bug. you were suppose to do a mission that you started in a limited amount of time. what i did through stupidity is get the intel for it, see "mission complete" and leave to do side quests. you were suppose to get to the next mission ASAP because the bomb was about to blow up.
Lance Lancer Patch was extremely worth it. Literally feels like exactly how the game should've been from the start. I loved Wildlands and was heartbroken that this game was a flop at launch. But If they have this much dedication to improving the game, I can't wait to see what happens in the future.
Anyone else had the bug in Wildlands where you shoot at an enemy but it has no effect?😅 VERY irritating, if I'm quick enough I can switch to another gun I'm not always that lucky. Had it probably 3 or 4 times in the first playthrough (1 month(I was in lockdown give me a break)). started new game immediately and still enjoying it just as much now. Also dropped through the map a few times when getting out of helicopters, normally when I get out before I've touched down. And then there's either getting stuck IN a rock, or getting trapped in a rocky hole which ends in you killing yourself (annoying when you have the 'last chance' unlocked) or fast travelling somewhere. Another addition on this, there's a house in the woods somewhere, a few cartel in the building but A LOT more spread out quite far patrolling around the house. There is ALWAYS an enemy stuck inside the closest rock to the house (probably 40 meters away from the house), pretty sure I killed him by shooting through the rock. Also, this one I get a lot more than anything else, when initiating a spring he will sprint the opposite way you turned which ends with you doing a little sprint circle, usually happens when I'm sprinting for cover. Anyway, still absolutely loving Wildlands, I didn't get a PS4 until 2019 so I never got it new and got it discounted to £16, thats why I'm still playing when everyone else seems to have moved on. Don't think I'll be getting breakpoint though, doesn't look as fun in general. The Division 2 is normally cheap when its on sale, might give that a go at some stage too. I don't bother getting games above £25, ill wait for them to go on sale
Honestly loved it. Ghost Recon used to be something completely different during the different eras of consoles and I love what it's done. I would have preferred a little more with breakpoint, but the setting was nice. Contained and to the point. There's not many other games on console that give you the tactical shooting like they do in this game. Unpopular hot take, but I didn't like Wildlands.
I started 6 days ago with breakpoint , and so far having a blast. If i thought the same if i bought it day 1 for 60 with the problems it had , i dont know. I played wildlands also just 6 months ago , but understood ot was a mess too on release. Yes , they should have wait with release , and im a bit dissapointed the update of dec 18th is delayed to mid januari. And that A.I. teammates arent in the SP. That too is announced to be included in a update somewhere in 2020. If all of that whas fixed before release i think reviews would have beeing much better.
The bug at the end had me dyin!!!!! I couldn't help but lmao when that jugg pulled some Houdini crap and popped back up with his iron rod 15 feet in the opposite direction. 🤣😂
There are still lots of bugs in the game to day. The Wolf armor vest for a example if you use an smg the magazines is in the vest and poking out a little. Enemies can shoot you through mountains and even snipe you through walls and even when you are in a basement with only one way out and they can't see you. Invisible walls and places you can't climb. I have fallen to my death after i respawned under the ground. Weapons are not calibrated at all and ammo that don't match the weapons and weapon info that is not to be trusted like for a example it says that it have penetration but it don't work and so on. There are even more bugs. Lots of the bugs you mentioned has happened to me as well.
Fun fact: if you like breakpoint you actually just like The Division, stay away from my ghost recon. If they just retitled this as 'The Division 3' I don't think anyone would complain.
Bob Bobberson I didn’t see any health bars or damage numbers? I’m not going to pretend this game is anywhere near good but you can’t say it’s Division 2 just because they both have loot and rpg elements, there’s a lot more to a game than that. Division 2 has way fewer glitches
@@kevong938 Breakpoint has health bar and simply because you don't see numbers appearing everywhere doesn't mean that it isn't a game with low damage output, like the division.
It's a game where you constantly loot the same exact weapon over and over again with different gear levels and juggernauts everywhere, so... Yes, very much like the division
Just an off topic question what is the best Ghost Recon to start with. i only played a bit of future Soldier and liked it but i want something actually tactical. It is in a way but not like i expected.
I wish you could holster your weapon in this game like in Wildlands so that it could be some kind of zooming out, it's getting boring to always have your weapons in hand and run/walk around... I think this is important and needed in the game.
Honestly, shout out to you. I’m impressed how you aren’t scared to say you like something, and when you think something is actually underrated. Keep up the good work
"it actually has characters that develop" Freaking LoL dude, if you think that's the case then I guess you find the Fast n Furious franchise Deep, nuanced and filled with deep plots. The game is a shittier, version of wild lands with more bugs and less character development then Vin Diesel in a XXX film.

@stella I was writing you a long reaction explaining everything, but I will make it short... you are an idiot, simple as that...
@@ravioli-bamboli "Quit being a fanboy."
Ok quit being a nostalgia filled bitch. I don't play breakpoint I just wanted to say that.
Lmao at the ending of this vid. Simply hilarious XD
A little graphic😅

"It bad, but it's amazing!" For those who haven't play the game, here are some good words that describe the game un MY opinion.
hope next Ghost Recon could use stuff people like from Wildlands and Breakpoint, nad make the mission less searching for intel
I think I'll just keep playing the Division 2. However, if they drop the "always online" I will get it.
It's a pain in the ass
Why would you get it if it's always alone? That would be more of a pain
That Guy Again not everyone has the same preferences
Division 2 is always online so you make no damn sense lol
@@deathstalker909 Maybe he meant Destiny... oh wait.
"Items are more well hidden in this game." *Item has a marker over it, showing where it is located*
"Ghost Recon is a looter shooter..." *This is the first looter shooter in the Ghost Recon franchise*
"I think the game being more like The Division makes it better." *it only serves to make the gameplay redundant, and you can shoot an enemy in the head to get an instant kill, negating the necessity to loot.*
"I consider gardening to be something fun to do in a shooter game." *How exactly is that possible*
"There is no GPS." *There is literally a minimap at the bottom right of the screen. are you fucking blind?*
"Ubisoft listens to their players and attempts to fix as many bugs as they can." *Then explain why a bug from the Beta managed to sneak into the main fucking game.*
"The world is full of realism." *Then does it take an entire magazine of 7.62 from an assault rifle to kill some dude in a cloak unless i get a weapon that is 50 levels higher than it. I'm fairly certain that we don't have weapon levels in the real world.*
"It has great attention to detail." *Then why is it such a buggy mess?*
The end of this video should've been a real event. This guy really needs to either bite a bullet or stop saying stupid shit.
Spot on review as always.......oh, and I haven't laughed so much in ages - Brilliant. Subbed.
Just a heads up. It's 14 euros on Epic store now with the 10 euro holiday coupon.
Ii wouldn't play this shit for free. They need to take TCs name off of it.
Finally one of my fav UA-camrs has made a Review on a game where my objectives won't spawn in until 3 minutes after I encountered it!!!! I love your reviews btw good to see some pure stanning for Asian women represent!!!
I agree, some people are too fast at judging. Like the ones who give a restaurant with amazing food, amazing style a 1 star because the service was slow. Get real guys
Never played advanced Warfighter have you? Stop coming up with excuses for this shit. The graphics are halfway decent and everything else sucks.
It's just hard for me to get from wildlands to breakpoint... I keep dropping back to wildlands dunno why...
Kudos
You know there removing the tier loot on weapons and items, so the 'collect better items' was disliked by the majority of the community not some.
People just like things being hella easy, lvl 1 with best sniper, assault rifle and pistol or whatever is dumb.
Also I didn't know they were doing this but it shouldn't be to bad if they do as long as the best guns are still boss drops should make sense
I don't know what this game is, wildlands had a more interesting way of capturing HVTs.
Bosses and drops shouldn't exist in an Ghost Recon game.
@@hatoftricks7132 u goddamn right
Wildlands was dope. I finished the game twice just to prove haha
I just bought Breakpoint, and it still has improvements to be done.
To bad to go solo I would suggest getting better
The thing that kills this game for me is the fact that you have to cycle to get to the team orders menu...WHY. No reason not to keep the controls for team C2 easily accessible like in Wildlands. That part it just baffling to me and the reason I have not come back to the game and I just play Wildlands instead.
If that's what turned you off, then you're just a waste of life... go nap
Couldn’t agree more 😢
This was and still is one of the buggiest games I’ve ever played. I played Wildlands and loved it, this game seemed like something they quickly threw together in order to capitalize on and make as much money possibly off the success of Wildlands.
Another bug is that sometimes you can’t even hear your weapon fire until you restart the game or you log out of the character
That was an amazing review. There is one thing i hate, the helicopter controls, i want the original wildland controls back
This is 100% one of the videos of all time
Been awaiting your thoughts on 3 things: Death Stranding, Call of Duty Modem Warfare and Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker.
One bug you didn’t mention is that there are random place on the map with neon lights coming from the ground and if you stand in them you character and their weapons will be neon color too.
Asian women 😂😍I think I need to buy this game now
A 30 year old Jim Gaffigan reviews video games with little to no filter. I love it.
I have to say I agree with you on most things in this video except for the story I thought it was absolute trash this timeit was not nearly as long as the last one and the last one at least made you feel something this one I felt very melancholy the entire storyand then to force players to pay for the DLC just to get the rest of the story is absolutely ridiculous for a game that so buggy and f***** up the first game in my opinion was way better than the trash they just put out and I'm super disappointed cuz I waited a very long time for this and bought it day one
the story was super trash
@Maj0r Lee, are you going to do a new updated review covering your thoughts on immersion mode?
Honestly, they spent more money on Promotion and commercializations, instead of proper game development.
wildlands is great!!!
Awesome, I was waiting for this review 😀🍺
It wasn't even a waffle, it was a fucking steak! Love your shit man, just found your channel.
Don't ever stop making reviews!
UBI is doing it with different titles LOL
i can count 10 bug today by playing GR Breakpoint and i still love the game.
So I played the demo, and haven't played, except for a random free weekend. But I'm getting into right now in July 2020, it seems like some of the bugs are working their way out. It certainly runs a boat load better then it used to.
I just paid $18.00 for it today and that’s well worth the price

Yes sir GameStop has a sale where you buy 2 pre owned games and get two for free lmao got it for free
I agree I got mine for $16 epic games store.
The Guy who has convinced me to play Wildlands has now convinced me to stop playing Breakpoint LMAO
that "mission failed" popup in wildlands was not a bug. you were suppose to do a mission that you started in a limited amount of time. what i did through stupidity is get the intel for it, see "mission complete" and leave to do side quests. you were suppose to get to the next mission ASAP because the bomb was about to blow up.
I’m not giving ubisoft my hard-earned shekels until the March 24th patch.
Agreed and even then I'm gonna wait for the gameplay to see if its improved.
Lance Lancer Patch was extremely worth it. Literally feels like exactly how the game should've been from the start. I loved Wildlands and was heartbroken that this game was a flop at launch. But If they have this much dedication to improving the game, I can't wait to see what happens in the future.
Justin Raker alright Mr.Raker...I’m trusting you...
Did you trade your shekels for Skell-kels?
@@wickedspank Get out.
Lots of Asian woman? Ah, I’m sold.
That moment when Plastic Gloves are better than Tactical Gloves.
Not to mention a baseball cap offering more protection than a Tactical helmet.
I bought mine in March 2020 and most of the bugs are gone. It's so much fun now. I love Breakpoint.
I haven't played either game. Which game would your recommend ?
@@danr8267 start with wildlands. Cause breakpoint gets a big update in januari
The bug at the end had me dyin!!!!! I couldn't help but lmao when that jugg pulled some Houdini crap and popped back up with his iron rod 15 feet in the opposite direction. 🤣😂
Still doesn’t change the fact that this game was terrible
Not really.
TheCommentSuperhero by your logic every action shooter with rpg elements is Division.
It's a game where you constantly loot the same exact weapon over and over again with different gear levels and juggernauts everywhere, so... Yes, very much like the division
Bob Bobberson I don’t remember Division having stealth elements, or different methods to beating a level aside from changing your gear.
I love all these bugs. They make it more fun as long as they don’t get me stuck somewhere. I crack up every time I see a bug.
The worst things in this game are the death headshot animation lol
Just an off topic question what is the best Ghost Recon to start with. i only played a bit of future Soldier and liked it but i want something actually tactical. It is in a way but not like i expected.
Best thing about this game is the fact that this game could be batshit crazy or really tactical depending on how you want to play.
That's pretty much the same thing about Wildlands, and that game is still better imo
I miss the single player campaigns in games
Im playing this single player since i got it two weeks ago on sale having a blast
To be honest. I'm more of a Banshee than a Ghost in Breakpoint.

I wish you could holster your weapon in this game like in Wildlands so that it could be some kind of zooming out, it's getting boring to always have your weapons in hand and run/walk around... I think this is important and needed in the game.
Hahaha the ending of this video !
Honestly, shout out to you. I’m impressed how you aren’t scared to say you like something, and when you think something is actually underrated. Keep up the good work
@Ancient yeah, the fact that that’s when it came out proves my point.
"it actually has characters that develop"
Freaking LoL dude, if you think that's the case then I guess you find the Fast n Furious franchise Deep, nuanced and filled with deep plots.
The game is a shittier, version of wild lands with more bugs and less character development then Vin Diesel in a XXX film.
Is it worth 15$? It’s on sale right now. Idc about any multiplayer. I know you need a connection but I’m just going to play by myself.
