@@homedeath4583 Yea on ps4 it takes me 2mins+ to load in whearas on pc about 30seconds. That's only installed on a hard drive as well not an SSD. Ubisoft needs to release an update that could somehow help the loading times on console.
I asked my friend who played the game if it's worth buying and he TOTALLY hated the game, but I bought the game anyway. Best decision I could make, definitely an awesome game.
@MALEK001 001 played it since beta. Still surprisingly fun. It's not like modern games shooting people with duck sounds while they're wearing a teddy bear costume on a small ass CoD map. Besides tying War Thunder this is my favorite game. Open map, First/Third person simulator + shooter.
@@Newera1047 he is correct, Breakpoint's better coz they listened to the community and improved the game slot in the ghost experience update and are constantly updating the game there on....I am new player so if it wasn't, it is now
my penis would go 420% erection whenever i see the side missions, missions to do, guns to collect (or attachments). unlike other open world games like GTA where after you complete the story there is almost nothing to do other than waste your money on killing some cops usually ending up respawning in the hospital.
@Cam 777 Ghost recon games have always had a realistic hardcore tinge, only exception being the new two, advanced warfighter for PC and 360, (the ps3 versions of these games are basically completely different games) and Future soldier 2. this new one encourages a run and gun style half the time, so no tactical realistic combat, and the stealth is so shit its almost good.and you cant say "iTs NoT bAd JuSt DifFeReNt" its like if HALO became a modern military shooter
Benjamin Cabaux lmao the amount of times I fucked myself over by riding the dirt bike into a ledge that would then send me flying and eventually incapacitated with nobody to help me is truly impeccable
Ubisoft: We can`t do a game about druglords in Mexico, that would not be good for our image Also Ubisoft: What about a Mexican cartel... in Bolivia Ubisoft: Oui! !Oui
to me your game does not open I downloaded from ubisoft when it went free and it does not open at all the first icon is opened and then it closes again without giving any announcement to any carpet Pope and it is still a problem very games to play them people and old computers that we have no money for others We all this planet you see is poor It has no world money if you want if you do not keep them😠
@@UltraCasualPenguin That's probably not what he meant but to be fair, there's no other country in the entire continent that has such rampant violence due to drug cartels. Believe me, I live in Mexico.
I'm from Bolivia and I first bought this game just because it is set on my country, but as I played I liked the gameplay, the open world and the graphics. Plus, I have to say the way Bolivia looks in this game is really accurate, although there are some larger cities, but I think Ubisoft omitted them for some obvious reasons.
Hi, if this game really does depict the geographical layout of your country accurately I must say it is very beautiful. One of the things I love about this game is just walking to most of my destinations even if its 3 kilometers and just enjoying the views. I love getting on top of a high mountains or high hills and just looking out over the Vistas
@@varshoee Yes I have to agree, I have the Xbox One X and just like I think he said in the video about how good the lighting is in the game. Ubisoft really did a good job with the lighting, it's very realistic looking. You could be walking through the woods and you can just see how the sunlight is cast in certain spots and shade in others, just like you would expect in the mountainous regions. Heck even how the Moonlight comes through the tree lines at night and hits the vegetation in realistic ways. I haven't experienced a open world game that matches it; I have Assassin's Creed Origins and it's a nice-looking game as well but the lighting in my opinion does not match the realism that wildlands produces. Sorry for the long reply. Lol
It should look like it, a Ubisoft team went over there and took a shitload of pictures and movies. They really scanned the envrionment and put in some great landmarks like those mummies in those buildings, great stuff.
I’m completely with you! It is one of my underrated games from 2017! I love how the open world is unrestricted and actually open! And it is never boring! Solid video!
@@Mjms000quon I was like 300 meters away from the objective , I asked Katari to give me an Armored Car , he sended it 550 meters away from me Fuck you Katari
@my name is DRAKE I don't know, wild lands had some decent AI (not the best but alright at least) if you ask me the worst was breakpoint since they couldn't even shoot at point blank range
Lol ubisoft makes games for the lowest common denominator of gamer. I play their games too, but don't pretend like ghost recon is some kind of niche, cult-classic
Got it in 2020 and started playing recently, haven't noticed any of the bugs you've revealed, but I did got stuck few times while in the mountains and one while jumping down some church Love this game so much, so much to do and all shooting, driving and exploring is night quality
They kept updating and fixing bugs up until last spring. The game was good when it released, but by the final update it was simply great, they should have done a wildlands 2 instead of Breakpoint
@@TheNorseAmerican Agreed, now GR put everything besides starter shit behind a character lvl wall including Battle passes for fuckin kids that need motivation to continue playing. On top of it, no mass people hunting you like unidad, barely any sniping, and breakpoint is 90% raiding.
@@jaybyrd6777 yea bro I got this game like 3 years ago but I re-started playing it after some time and now it looks really great! I hope some new updates will come
I absolutely adored this game. I had over 300 hours logged with 100% completion on PC.... and bought it AGAIN on XBOX One to play with some console elitist friends, because it was only $15 for Black Friday. Worth every penny.
First silver play button Without videos not for me, but I have a very reserved and slow play style. I don’t get into into shootouts unless necessary and i utilize snap targeting in conjunction with a lot of stealth and utilizing cover. I’m mostly playing in ghost mode with a few irl friends from the military community. Typically I run the g28 with g28 optic. Having a Semi auto .308, with magnified optic, and an aim point on top allows the ability to clear rooms in side missions and clean up target rich environments from several hundred meters out. It’s also most effective for my role on my team. On occasion I’ll run the MSR with the t5xi, but only when we know I won’t need to move in for additional support. The dude who plays as our machine gunner runs the mk48 with the eotech on top. We also do two guys as an assault role. One runs an mp7 with aimpoint and the last dude runs a scar 17 with the elcan.
glitcwifi glitchy, buggy, lack of content, repetitive, shit story, toxic community, terrible map design, bad pvp content, huge latency and terrible frame rate on consoles, and bad gameplay that seems almost like you're shooting at the same enemy all the time.
@King Croft This game was buggy trash when it came out. Just because you got it on sale with all the DLCs and with the 30+gb of patches they released to fix this piece of trash doesnt mean you can act like a pompous fanboy lol. It had no PVP or tier system when it came out. One of the funnest parts of this game was how buggy it was before the patches, which is sad. I love this game and play it on Xbone, but it was shit when it came out. All you new players need to shutup
This game was some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing with my friends. I remember a particular moment that had us all gasping for air from laughter for a solid three minutes, and staying up til the early hours of the morning cause we got lost in how much fun we were having.
This game is top tier and could live on for years if Ubisoft will continue to support it. Missions can be introduced. We could move into another country and have new missions there. I love this game.
After finishing the story mode I did what i do everything and left for another game. After seeing people playing the last dlc I decided to play again and man this game is a blast! Just loved the details of the graphics and customization of weapons is fun. Underrated truly
Seriously love this game. It feels like a 3rd person Far Cry to me. The map is just amazing. Best played without the HUD for maximum tension. Great channel, subbed!!
@@jeremyblackwater439 It totally feels that way to me. Imagine Far Cry - but now you have 3 AI (or real world) buddies alongside you. For some missions (the small side missions) you can command the AI buddies to hold position while you press ahead with the attack on your own - which makes it feel even more Far Cry lol. Its a great game, the open world is awesome and the bad guys are a hoot. It does have some annoyances (SAM launchers are immune to heavy gunfire, even from helicopters, you have to plant explosives on them manually or throw a grenade) but these can be overlooked. Recommended to disable all the Ubisoft hand holding HUD superpowers (xray vision, tagging and all other alerts). Have fun!
Yeah, I hope next time in North korea and that you have to kill the regime, Detect nuclear weapons to and destroy them etc. I don't know, but for me it sounds really cool.
Since the beta days i havent stopped playing it, i log in every day even though i play other games i still go back to this plus customizing the characters, weapons and even the HUD for a more immersive experience never gets old
@@Ghost-oj2nc well that's not very smart if you miss shots, it's based on times he gets hit, not damage, you could complete it in the same number of shots with a pistol and a shotgun
I'm thinking about grabbing this, and I keep hearing it keeps getting free content: but are they adding stuff to single player or just MP modes and MTX? I live in a small town with shit web so sadly I gotta sit out most MP focused titles.
Beta wasn't even that bugged. Fun as fuck. And floating helis along with randomly spread out Easter eggs. .50cals, Anti material rifles. Shall I say more?
Me too. Every outpost can be taken out in many many different ways. Every time you get completely different gameplay! For instance pistol-only, or sniper/stealth, or quick&kick-ass, or knife-only, with or without gadgets, etc. etc. Awesome game!!
One of the finest game reviews I've ever watched. Thanks for all the time mand effort you put into making it. My buddy and I are huge Farcry fans and we were looking for something similar to play coop during quarantine. We logged at least 5 hours each night on this game. One of our beefs with FarCry being that once you cleared out a base, it was done. In this game the enemy respawns into that area almost immediately. Never gets old.
Hands down, my favourite game ever. Have played the story missions twice solo, and now clocking up more hours in co-op mode wreaking havoc on Bolivia. I really hope they do a sequel at some point!
Why would we need more games like this? especially from Ubisoft? The last update this broken piece of crap had, was Mercenaries. Who needs to bring out a major patch to fix the game, when they can bring some crappy PVP out. But hey, that’s what the community wanted, a a crappy Battle Royal, instead of fixing there shit.
While this game had it's routine bugs that we see in most Ubisoft games it still had an overwhelming amount of story content as well as seamless multiplayer/co-op.
Fr! They get mad because of the loading screen like wtf lol, I literally didn’t even know it takes long. Just get on your phone or make a sandwich if it takes so long, don’t bitch about it
Actually the translation is "Don't let the DEA see me" and the way it's used the in the song quite funny, "Don't let the DEA see me because it causes stress. Yankee motherfucker go home" great song LOL.
This is absolutely underrated. The missions are amazing. The environment is so well done and there are vast differences in areas. I was late to pick up the game however, no one to play coop with lol.
It’s a culmination of all Ubisofts best work. Quite literally. There are so many mechanics and even animations from all their titles. Including a Splintercell 2 Animation (The takedown). To me this is Ubisoft at their VERY BEST.
I love this game- the missions aren’t forgiving and require you to think of a strategy before you go in. Teaches you to not rely on your equipment all the time.
This game is not underrated. In fact, I think it's the exact opposite. Open-world is bland, mechanics are broken, and the overall design is just bad in many ways. Trust me, I was hype for this game pre-release but once I played the finished product I was more than disappointed by the experience. The Ghost War PVP mode they added later is pretty enjoyable but unfortunately the core game and all of it's DLC releases are absolute garbage. IMO, this is one of the worst games I have ever had the displeasure of playing. Not sure how Ubisoft Paris managed to take such a solid concept and execute it so terribly but they found a way. This was copied by Lonewolf Brinstar. But I mean the same as him and he said it in a good way. So I just took it.
Fair enough that's what I thought at first as well but I got into it again later on and loved it for some reason. Also, open world being bland is subjective and while some mechanics are broken I barely run into game breaking ones
Maybe not a bad game...but a bad GHOST RECON game. This is Grand Theft commando. Crazy ridiculous " funny moments" for your UA-cam and twitch stream. Map a zillion miles wide and one inch deep. AI that is either dumb as dirt or omniscient and godlike. Endless choppers that pose no threat. Ghost Recon of old was about unforgiving realism and deadliness. Methodical planning was not an option. This is typical Ubi tripe, icons all over the map, see your enemies thru walls, mark them and they stay marked thru walls, undergound, it's just silly. Guys hanging out the window of vehicles shooting and then rolling down a cliff only to land on their wheels and keep shooting. Crash a plane and hop right out. And instafail stealth?? Do real operatives get to start over just because someone caught them, or do they adapt and overcome and deal with it? What a farce this game was. Grand Theft Farcry Creed. Had fun with friends, but I've had fun gutting fish with friends. That's why they're friends. And calling this an RPG?? LOLOL.
It's not fantastic when you get stuck between rocks. All of the time. And you know that resources, which should've been used elsewhere, were instead utilized to make a "large open world." Let's go through a list off of the top of my head, and I doubt any of this shit has ever been patched since that would require initiative. And they're too busy price gouging dumbasses who will pay an exorbitant amount of money for non-customizable shit. The "skills" are fucking retarded. I can't choose how many magazines or explosives I want to carry. I have to use "skills," and they're not reversable - or I haven't found out how to disable them when I don't want to carry anymore landmines for example. You can't disable the "thump" sound when you hit an enemy. Really retarded for people who disable the HUD. The ballistics in this game are atrocious. When you unscrew the suppressor to the KRISS Vector, which is .45 ACP, the velocities will increase by like 1/3rd. Nothing should've changed, .45 ACP is a subsonic round. A suppressor suppresses the *BANG*, the powder in the case exploding. It doesn't suppressed the *CRACK*, the sonic boom from the bullets breaking the sound barrier. There's no caliber conversions in this game. There's .300 AAC BLK (absolutely unacceptable in a game with suppressor use. A subsonic 5.56 is basically a .22 LR, and I don't even think subsonic 5.56 will cycle), 6.5 Grendel, 6.5 Creedmoor, .458 SOCOM, or .224 Valkyrie. This game was released in 2017, and it feels obsolete as fuck. The KRISS Vector should've had 9mm, 10mm, and .357 SIG variants. The Vector didn't even have a two-round hyperburst. I don't even know what the fucking ROF is since it's just a bar. It doesn't state velocity, or ft lbs of energy - it's just a bar. Just give me the numbers. Along with no caliber conversions, you can't select your bullet type, or grains. Do I want to use some Black Hills 77 gr 5.56 HP? Or .308 175 gr BTHP's? Nope. You get what appears to be just FMJ judging by the bullets in the magazine models. No wonder why it takes 5 or more hits to neutralize anyone - these "Special Forces Operators" are shooting people with cheap ass training ammunition. I can't use supersonic bullets with suppressors. They magically switch back and forth from subsonic to supersonic when you screw a suppressor on and off. The "default" factory muzzle attachments, such as muzzle brakes and flash hiders, don't work. They put in the work to model this stuff, and it doesn't do anything. The default flash hiders don't work. If you want to hide your flash, you need to screw on a suppressor - but then it magically turns your bullets subsonic. Real wizard hours. If you can invent a way to instantaneously turn bullets from supersonic, to subsonic, later back to supersonic - you should contact SOCOM immediately. I bet you'll get a massive contract with the military if you can create this wizardy magic shit. If I stick an EOTech PEQ on my AR, it isn't going to tight up my MOA. Ever. Sticking a 40 round PMag in my AR isn't going to make the rifle more unstable. The extra weight is barely negligible, but if anything - it should make it easier to control. Don't even get me started on barrel lengths and their "effects" in game. Dumb. I don't think the plates in the game actually work. Why even wear plate carriers? Have you ever worn a plate carrier? It stops being cool after about an hour. If the plate carrier does jack shit, of course I'm not going to fucking wear it. There are no engagement ranges >200 meters. I've tried at 400, but they enemies will suicidally charge at you like they're Japanese infantry during WW2. And they dual-wield Mac-11s, and shoot sub MOA groups with minimal recoil. And the ballistics in this game sucks so much, that you wouldn't want to use them past 200. You don't use slings in this game. A sling to rifle is what a holster is to a pistol. There's no battlebelts either. That leg holster, and stuffing everything onto your chest is going to suck ass, really fucking fast when that shit starts hurting after a long hike. This game is very annoying, and its target audience appears to be dumb people who care about aesthetics and not substance. I could understand older games not including as much detail like a decade ago, but this is a "triple A" title made by a multi-billion dollar company. And they don't even know what a bolt release is. Your special forces operators can't press a fucking button on the side of the receiver that releases the bolt. They always rack the charging handle - even when there's a bullet that is already chambered. I doubt they've fixed that either.
The vehicles are a bit iffy to drive The game is very repetitive when you play it fir a while. It’s basically just stealth as far as you can then kill everyone before you die.
This game is seriously one of the best games I've played in a while. I bought it 3 times (both my ps4 and xbox broke so I switched to PC). But for people to call it repetitive is bullshit repetitive is what the newest cod is this xmas or what destiny 2 is doing this shook the whole gaming world because of its ability to be ghost recon but also to not be ghost recon and I think the world wasn't ready for it that's why a lot of people said very negative things about it but here it is 2018 and wildlands got a 2nd season pass which mean these journalists who are lazy didn't see how big of a community it would actually have this game is the true game of the year for 2016 in my eyes I still play it and love it
It also means im getting old......2 fuck'n years,I keep forgetting that......No wonder. My friend & I were playing Ghost Mode,& I was telling where on the map shit is,how to do this or that,& hes like"Youve been playing the shit outa this game".... I got him to buy the season 2 pass, love the Ultramax......
"What is Vagina? Seriously...I'm starting to forget!!" Freaking love your humor and I LOVED this video. You laid out this game so accurately and passionately (rightly so) it made me want to jump back in and play it some more. Your negatives about the game were accurate as well. Some are enough to make me crazy but overall you're right...ITS" A FUN GAME!! Thank you for making this video and seriously you did freaking awesome. :)
I love the video but I disagree with your statement on the variety of missions. If you play for a marathon session, the repetitive gameplay becomes very apparent. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game, but in every region you can find a mission that is almost the exact same type of objective in almost any other region. Kill this person, extract this person, find intel without being detected, and destroy cocaine. They should’ve done more to mix it up. The story elements aren’t enough to overlook the fact I’m doing the same five missions over and over. I forgot tailing missions, which are easy but are by far the least enjoyable mission type in any game. I love the review, but I’m shocked you don’t feel like the game gets Repetitive in the mission types?
I agree with you to some extent! The missions are actually repetitive but that's why there are Gadgets/skills/ and co-op so you can try diff. strategy every time with your friends. And the biasing in reviews is done acc. to a non-shooter fan perspective. Cause as a shooter/stealth gamer i personally like to do those 5 missions again and again not only in GR but also in Far Cry capturing outpost is my fav thing doesn't matter if there are 10,20 or even 100 Outposts. Suppose a cod fan who actually don't like RPG games like Witcher 3 will straight be bored of those spell/potion things and boring combat. But the Review is done acc to perspective of a RPG player who likes that Shield sword combat. That fairness is totally absent here. A gamer who played Tom Clancy's games actually love that type of gameplay including me. The thing which is underperforming is story and Map evolution.
My biggest problem is AI for allies and the way command works. Theres just not enough options for us solo players to position AI. I also find the whole teleporting into veichles they do after a while very immersion breaking. My gripe with this game is despite that I enjoy it in many ways I also find it frustrating due to many oversight and the way its primarily designed as a Co-op with single player as a side note in many ways. Its frustrating aspects like poor companion Ai. Like they dont help or support properly either then occasionally go into god mode as when they revive and slaughter all enemies at once. Its like playing solo with lots of disruptive elements around you. If they had released this game with a much more competent AI I could overlook many other issues more easily like a bit immature story that never takes off fully and portray this stuff more properly. Or the way they instead of letting you buy from handlers or a black market insist on giving you new guns and such by opening boxes in the wild... really? They lost a big cance of giving you a double agent esque system where you have to help the rebells or the agency you work for and forcing you trough dilemmas of ethical and morally questionable stuff. These decisions would then impact the guns and gadgets you could access... if you worked more with rebels you could access more crude guns and such and if you helped the agency they would invest more into the operation and you would gain access to more high tec and such stuff. It would also remove much of the clutter stuff on the map and tie various systems togheter with the plot for a better experience. I would also have loved a safe house system where you store stuff and mechanics that allow the cartell to find you if you leave traces or let them hunt you. Tied into this I would not want to see so many insta ammo refill boxes and force you to get back to safe houses to change guns and more. Making you think twice about what you are taking with for what missions. I still like the game but I want less weird open world game clutter and more system that ties into the story and experience in regards to weapons, cosmetics and more. Its so weird many devs still struggle to build this into the world and give reason instead of saying hey we know you are ghosts and such but you have to find weirdly placed weapons boxes that will give you these infinite ammounts of guns that you have to find to get new weapons. But I hope they can change the Ai still for single player and allow us to give commands while moving right now thats a big gripe having to stand still enter a clunky wheel and select orders that they may or may not follow. I still play it occasionally and will more so because in terms of its infiltration and taking out bases its amazing. I love to scout and engage these bases and the way the enemies goes down with a shot or two is so awesome compared to the usuall drain healthmeeter bullet spoonge enemies in many other games.
There's something missing with this game, reminds me a lot of Skyrim, I have 1000hrs of it and still my favorite TES game is Morrowind, the same goes for Wildlands, I have 400 hrs of it 5x more than the original GR and still Ghost Recon is my favorite GR game, and one of the best shooters of all time, it's a masterpiece, Wildlands it's just another shooter, another Ubisoft game, the same formula, the same shit, fun but far from a masterpiece, and in my opinion I rather play/make a game that I know few will love, than a game that i hope many people will like. A shallow ocean when it could have been a deep pond. Mediocre.
It is a awesome game if you like this style of gameplay. It is not a run and gun FPS game so it is the polar opposite of COD. I like it on extreme difficulty and to play it very tactically. Just wish the AI was a bit better.
I saw this video when it launched, and every yeah since then, i come back to watch it again. I absolutely agree with everything in this video. And you make this video so easy to watch. Such good editing and commentary. Hope you always keep up the great work mate. Best regards.
Ghost Recon has always been about co-op play with humans NOT A.I. The problem with this generation of gamers is the fact they are Call of Duty babies. These gamers don't use their microphones and have no clue about teamwork and the unpredictability of humans playing together, something programmed A.I. can never produce. The 'Call of Duty Generation' of gamers will play a co-op game as if it's a single player game. They don't use a microphone and have no clue about tactical teamwork. Those of us who have played Ghost Recon dating back to the original Xbox and 360 know the very reason we play the game is for teaming up with friends and playing as a squad using communication to beat the game. When you understand the culture of Ghost Recon you then understand what makes this game so great. Bottom line, stop playing Ghost Recon with a Call of Duty mindset.
It's true. There's nothing like playing this game with other humans. You actually have to bark orders at each other and know what you're doing. It's the greatest.
I do like playing with humans but I have always been a guy who loved Single Player Gameplay. I really appreciate it when I can find my own ways etc. However on games like For Honor or Rainbow Six Siege or even Warframe I do very much appreciate to play with friends. Bottom line: If the game is story-focused I'll probably play it Single Player. But hey... there are different people :)
You're review about COD is so far off, Everyone I have ever played with has mics on the game, I play on PS3/PS4 though. What you're talking about is a Xbox thing..Also, it does take team work to win. It sounds like you just hate COD all together. I play a little bit of everything. I do avoid Xbox though.. Any platform of Xbox blows
My favourite games reviewer. Thank you, Major Lee. I still love this game! I am a stealth master. I can replay in Ghost Mode in order to rediscover the awesome open world. The Clancy-esque political perspective and dialogue. It's forgivable.Because we know what Clancy is. The game itself totally rocks! And it does actually introduce us to Bolivian culture. My AI teammates rarely let me down. I am both Col. Kurtz and young captain Willard. Major Lee. You're my main man.
Jay agree tpp is an incomplete mess that needed more time and things to do hell they even rehash some of the missions to pad the game out 😂😂😂 the gameplay was great though
SAME! I went to play phantom pain and it was just awful in comparison. The controls weren’t as good, freedom for each mission wasn’t as good, weapons were awful in comparison and had no customization. Phantom pain wishes it was wildlands
AI is useful. I can’t imagine playing Narco Road without the AI, in extreme mode. But yes, about 5% of the time they can’t find a path to come heal you. In Ghost mode, that is deadly. Learn to back up your save.
my biggest problem with the game is the prices on the content. i love what they add and i dont mind paying for it but seriously? you have to pay $19.00 for enough credits to but a small pack (those are perfect analysis) sure u can say its a waste but at least u get something out of it that you enjoy
Yeah Ubisoft really turns me off I almost quit the game because I was pised off about buying the season pass and getting almost nothing especially when year two gets you a lot more
@@AndyE30 So what about the overpriced items? A good company would make it so that you could unlock the items, even if you have to do multiple play-throughs. Instead you have to spend unreasonable sums of real money for them. -.- Don't get fooled, just because this is the current state of the industry. People like you are the cause for this shitty money grabbing.
@@MaeckesPlanB so every co.pany should make every game and dlc and post release content free of charge while the devs eat what, dirt? And live where, the streets? Look, it's a great company that listens to their consumers and gives them what they want. They never had overpriced items in their release of the full game, everything is added post release. Try to support the good companies and devs in the current industry, not the big shitty monopolies. I also bought every dlc and add on for Titanfall 1 and 2 because Respawn Entertainment doesn't take shit from EA and makes the games their passion projects. And that is something lacking in the current industry.
A tiny thing considering how sophisticated the AI already is, but I would love a little more pressure on taking the stealthy approach. For instance if you shoot someone and an enemy discovers the body they'll become suspicious, but it would be awesome if killing the enemy also started a timer where if that enemy hasn't responded to others via radio or shift rotation it also triggers the suspicious/hunted status. Doing so would force players to either think more about their approach or say fuck it and go Rambo. I don't know if this happens after you reach tier 1, but as someone that really likes taking the stealthy approach it started to feel a little unfair how easy it is to just sit and wait to pick off lone enemies or use sync shot.
I do think they become suspicious after finding a dead body. A good way of adding difficulty is playing the game in the hardest difficulty with no hud turned and to never use sync shot.
You can also stop using your drone and utilize your binoculars more often. This means that you have to scour around the big map to find high vantage points.
I really wanted to love this game but all of the NPCs, from the enemies to the rebels to the civilians, just feel like empty shells. If you spend one minute toying with a guard in Phantom Pain you can have more meaningful AI interaction than you can get in the entirety of Wildlands from start to finish. Phantom Pain's core mechanics in Wildlands' populated world would be the pinnacle of military stealth action gaming... good thing Konami wasted the Fox Engine on Survive.
"She" is like my old gf, she is never present during sex, only talks to me via phone, she never waves hello, she is an entity that just exists in weird cut scenes from my memory, and she never left our shack.
They are not trying to be feminist in this game. The reason why she refers to the god as she is because she is referring to Santa Muerte, which is the female God of Death in the game.
Wish they would make a Wildlands 2 instead of Breakpoint. I always enjoyed exploring the realm of Bolivia because there was always so many different settings, mountain ranges, salt deserts, tropical jungles, forested areas, etc. in breakpoint you’re just stuck on one island.
One of the things I felt he could have mentioned in the review when responding to the critiques on the depiction of Bolivia as a narco state was - and this by no means alleviates those very valid critiques - how beautifully Ubisoft depicted the Bolivian countryside. The map is just.. Gorgeous. I could spend hours in just flor d'oro.
Justin Rivers breakpoint would end up like wildlands they’re gonna fix it and when a new ghost recon game comes out and it sucks and people would say wHy nO bReAkPoInT 2? Or shit like wHy cAnT iT bE LiKe WiLdLAnDs oR bReAkPoInT so shut the fuck up about no wildlands 2
I totally agreed with the video. Ubisoft really made some great design choices with the game. For example, the rebel chopper supply raid mission. If u go all guns blazing, more likely u see the supply chopper flown away before u could fly it. But if u scouted first, u could find there is one sicario with a headphone or pilot helmet there. Take him out first and then kill the others at your pleasure with no risk the chopper being flown away. It took me 2 playthrough of the main campaign to notice this.
You should play MGSV dude when you finish GRW :) I would say MGSV game mechanics are better, but Wildlands world looks more beautiful and more life to it
@@jonsnow1342 actually i did the other way around. I finished mgs5 first then played grw.like u said, mgs5 had the better mechanics foe the most part but the world is barren compared to grw. Mgs5 had the better missions hands down. The feeling when u lost quiet, grw missions doesnt even come close. But honestly i just prefer grw. On my third playthru, currently on tier 23. Achived tier 1 on my last playthru.
I played this whole thing trough. I played it for ages. But it DOES ABSOLUTELY get repetitive. The story is well made but the rest is just the same couple of missions placed over and over again over the entire map. Some story-related places have great detail and other places are just the same thing. They also use the same buildings everywhere. Yes, you can't make an unique building everytime, but it's not enough. Still it's underrated tho. I recommend buying it when it's on sale again
@Robert Esslinger i fucking loved the story. I will admit the ending is a little underwhelming but the story overall for me was gripping and kept me playing
I've very aware of the story in a somewhat more generic game, Like COD BO I & II, whereas I have very little understanding of the ongoing story of this game, who the characters are, and all of that bullshit. This story and the characters within in it are garbage, even so, I'm surprised how any person could play this game and promote it as an underrated stealth game and a better shooter. This game has a horrible stealth system that lets enemies detect you immediately despite any positioning you might've taken to prevent this, and when you're forced into a full-on shootout, the enemies toggle their aimbot and never miss a single shot on you. Sure, you're somewhat of a bullet sponge on the lower difficulties, but you still die within a second or two of a single enemy firing an Uzi at you. This game is really only good when you play it with friends where the shenanigans your squad gets into covers up the repetitiveness of this game and the shit combat mechanics, along with that, the extra team members actually become useful...
People always talk about how the game can get repetitive, I understand why people would think that way and it's because you're just doing everything the same way, try doing it differently and mess around with it and have fun. For example look at Rainbow Six Siege, you get the same 4 objectives every time but people always have fun because they do everything differently. You might say that it's because it's on different maps and areas, same as the missions and objectives in GRWL. It's only gonna be repetitive and boring if you make it that way.
@@monttemadness9250 You can say that about every game though. The big problem with this game is that there is nothing that breaks up the pacing, there's no writing that helps to establish beyond the fact that it's a military shooter with some quirky yet bland characters along the ride. Thus making repetitive because it's the same shit over and over again with nothing to break the ice, though this wouldn't be nearly as bad if the core gameplay wasn't poorly designed. To examplify, the stealth in this game is atrocious. The detection system is simply and poorly designed, the enemies seem to have a cone of vision which most stealth games base the rest of their other features off of, whereas GRWL doesn't take into account the shrubbery or other environmental objects that obfuscates the view. If you're not behind a clearly defined wall of some kind, it's likely that you'll be detected. Which then leads into the combat itself, which is also bad, in the sense that enemies have an accuracy of over 90% percent.
I agree. After the main game, the two, DLC, and completing Tier mode it is really dull. Allowing same system Co-op play like they had on GRAW, Making a mission creator, and including many no hud quality of life features would help but just giving us a 20 minute mission every 3 to 4 months isn't going much to hold the "majority" of players interest.
LOOOOL this vid is a masterpiece of comedy. Just awesome! My squad and I have over 1000hrs on this game, even with all its faults. If shitbag Ubi would've just listened to the community more and fixed a few more things it could've been the greatest game of its type ever. There will probably never be another Wildlands, so enjoy it while you still can.

Yeah, after playing this game, I feel like I actually visited Bolivia. it's by far the best looking game in existence, at least on PC.
@@varshoee
Yes I have to agree, I have the Xbox One X and just like I think he said in the video about how good the lighting is in the game.

The vehicles are a bit iffy to drive
The game is very repetitive when you play it fir a while. It’s basically just stealth as far as you can then kill everyone before you die.
I give Ur review 10/10
mathias richard i give this comment a 10/10
This game is seriously one of the best games I've played in a while.
Dude, you are an idiot if you think this game isnt repetitive and yet COD/Destiny 2 are. All 3 are repetitive as heck.
I thought the game came out 2017 wut
This review is a masterpiece man. that is an underrated comment too.
Mediocre.
Dylan Hase it does get repetitive that’s why I like playing pvp.

=Fun Fun Fun
It is a awesome game if you like this style of gameplay. It is not a run and gun FPS game so it is the polar opposite of COD.
I like it on extreme difficulty and to play it very tactically. Just wish the AI was a bit better.

woah you guys are good eh
I saw this video when it launched, and every yeah since then, i come back to watch it again. I absolutely agree with everything in this video. And you make this video so easy to watch. Such good editing and commentary. Hope you always keep up the great work mate. Best regards.
Still playing and enjoying it in 2018, the cool missions bringing together all the cool tom Clancy characters and units is done well.
I got the game 5 days ago,and I really like it :)

Earned my sub right there. That was hilarious.
Emcee S.
I agree
You're review about COD is so far off, Everyone I have ever played with has mics on the game, I play on PS3/PS4 though. What you're talking about is a Xbox thing..Also, it does take team work to win. It sounds like you just hate COD all together. I play a little bit of everything. I do avoid Xbox though.. Any platform of Xbox blows
Exactly, and they're now doing the same to BF smh. No PTO whatsoever. Just worrying about KD.
In mid 2019 this is still my favorite game ever..... I enjoyed Battlefield 1, however it doesn't have the open environment freedom of GR Wilderness.
I was replaying the Phantom Pain and realized it was lacking everything this game can offer. Starting Wildlands up for the first time now....
Jay agree tpp is an incomplete mess that needed more time and things to do hell they even rehash some of the missions to pad the game out 😂😂😂 the gameplay was great though
tpp is incomplete, but its still a better game than this pos
Carl -The OG Milfhunter- Wheezer I don’t know about that
SAME! I went to play phantom pain and it was just awful in comparison. The controls weren’t as good, freedom for each mission wasn’t as good, weapons were awful in comparison and had no customization. Phantom pain wishes it was wildlands
@@natedogsturdikat8538 atleast phantom pain has better story, soundtrack, characters, voice acting and stealth. Stealth in wildlands is fucking ass
The ai are good but I was level 28 on ghost mode and blew up and my ai teammates bugged out and didn’t res me. I was so pissed
Bro i just died on ghost mode tier 26 while i was spotting on my drone a car blew up and squashed me and guess what GAME OVER
AI is useful. I can’t imagine playing Narco Road without the AI, in extreme mode. But yes, about 5% of the time they can’t find a path to come heal you. In Ghost mode, that is deadly. Learn to back up your save.
I don't understand why anyone hate this really good game?im not gonan lie,grw is one of the best game that i've played in my life
my biggest problem with the game is the prices on the content. i love what they add and i dont mind paying for it but seriously? you have to pay $19.00 for enough credits to but a small pack (those are perfect analysis) sure u can say its a waste but at least u get something out of it that you enjoy
It's a good company that actually listens to their community. The continue to update it consistently with great content. I'll give them all my money.
The economy is one of the biggest issues with this game.
Don't get fooled, just because this is the current state of the industry.
2 years of playing and it's still so good!

Oh you are still alive nice video by the way
I have +250 hours on the game. I know people with more time. This game doesn’t get old.
I don't know if this happens after you reach tier 1, but as someone that really likes taking the stealthy approach it started to feel a little unfair how easy it is to just sit and wait to pick off lone enemies or use sync shot.
or maybe add an option to drag enemies around so the bodies can be hidden
I do think they become suspicious after finding a dead body. A good way of adding difficulty is playing the game in the hardest difficulty with no hud turned and to never use sync shot.
You can also stop using your drone and utilize your binoculars more often. This means that you have to scour around the big map to find high vantage points.
The music from Wildlands that plays in the background while you play just set the vibes.
Big facts, but can i deck myself out in wildlands in the exact gear that i did in real life and operate like the good ol days
Hmm,im playi g on xbox x and got noproblems at all,i just have a goodtime

Love this game so much. Six or seven play throughs so far and always will go back for some co-op if a mate wants a game.

Its a good game but once your done with the story it gets pretty boring and lets not forget how long it took to ubisoft bring pvp
done the story like a year ago and still playing coop with my friend
I have beaten the story 3 years ago
Nope, it's called tier 1
