I’ve been using Anchored from the moment I started practicing on fake skin a year ago. Never tried others but kinda feel satisfied with it, so maybe won’t even change brands. Takes a bit to dry as you pointed out. Thanks for the review 💪🏻
nice video!!! i use stencil stuff for years, and sometimes i feel like it's too good because i almost cant wipe it off for the picture.... And one other thing i have had problems with, my stencils without even drieing when i have to replace it, 5-6 scrubs with alkohol dosent even remove the stencil for a quick replacement, so if there is a tattoo where i "probably" need to use alot of tries to get the perfect placement i need to use something thats "worse" so it's alot more easy to get off if that makes sense.
I use the stencil stuff, that was the product my wife bought, when she purchased all my tattoo equipment for me, for an Xmas gift. Personally I thought the stuff worked great & it was really hard to remove, when I messed up placing a stencil, a couple of times. That shit wouldn't come off, unless I used rubbing alcohol+ soap but I'm a noob, what do I know after only tattooing once in a year! lol
Stencil stuff is all I’ve used ever and it works great! It just didn’t last as long as the others surprisingly. Also keep in mind I wiped these with a soaked towel for 15 mins straight lol
Cool video!! Are you going to stay with Stencil stuff or are you going to switch to the Electrum? Looks like Electrum held up.. That's my worst fear is the stencil coming off. Im still on practice skin using Stencil stuff..Thanks for the vid..
Thanks ! I’m switching over to electrum for now. I now have a ton of stencil solution so I’m just going to use it all and after using them all I’ll decide which one I want to buy again.
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial that’s why I tried it the first time it works really well it’s like stencil stuff and electrum had a baby lol .. you don’t need a lot either
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial yep. Learned it from a old as hell tattooer way back in the late 90’s. Kind of like they called witch hazel “cooler”, they called it “pine oil” lol
Electrum is my go to and the one i always use. All my stencils hold very strong through every gentle wipe.
I tried different ones and definitely choose Electrum ❤️. Never had a bad surprise and I’m washing a lot because I need to see very little details

Electrum has a stencil removal solution I use and it works great. Try it out !
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial I use it already haha, and it dosent remove it anyway... It's kinda nuts.
Here to support the content..great man Electrum probably is the best
Thanks for the support !
I’m definitely going to be using the electrum for a while at least after this test
Hello Kelly! Thank you for making me buy electrum!! Love you guys for this ❤️
The brand stencil prep works almost to good no joke check it out. Clearish bottle purple label.
Ive only used stencil stuff but now I want some electrum to huff in between clients!! LOL!
If you taste it let us know how it is lol
Liquid stencil is some really good stuff as well joke around the shop is we call it perma-stencil cuz that stuff is so dang strong
Good guy all the way but I like electrum aswell I'm gonna try anchored though next months order
Liquidstencil and beastmode stencil. Stencil will hold for 6-8 hours. Its what I use for large realism pieces
Switch to anchored a couple months ago will never use stencil stuff again…. Dettol holds a stencil better then my stencil stuff…..
You need to try I Am Ink's Uizznit Stencil solution, works amazingly good!
i love electrum followed by steadfast tattoo company those 2 are the best ive tried
I never tried steadfast before! Whenever I use up all these brands I’ll try it out lol

I find my black ink as I tattoo, especially if it pools as I start a line, it drastically wipes away the stencil. Is the only work around is less ink?

@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial Awesome!! Thanks..
Nice video about the the products , however i enjoyed the bloopers the most :) greetz from the Netherlands
Haha good to hear !
nice i love your videos, a newby tattoo artist here in the philippines🇵🇭❤️👌
Thank you !
Que buenos videos haces !!!!!
Personally I've noticed the same thing, stencil stuff doesn't hold up as well as other industry standard solutions. I really like stencil Honey.
Man I’m mind blown right now. That’s all I’ve used since I started tattooing lol glad I did this experiment
what do you recommend for removing the stencil to replace or re correct position
You could just use the same stencil solution and green soap to scrub it off
Your wife is so beautiful! She has a very sweet bubbly vibe to her, I love your content thank you ❤️🙏🏼
She is! Thank you :)
Very cool video I like the ending, I love doing everything with my wife as well, cowabunga dude’s
the apple 🍎 Smelling stuff is a shave jell
Deos vasaline work ?
Thanks
You needs to try Snail trail stencil gel ..
That one sounds like i want to use it just based on the name lol
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial that’s why I tried it the first time it works really well it’s like stencil stuff and electrum had a baby lol .. you don’t need a lot either
@@TheMindOfMrfiggs how well does it hold up ?
@@yomamma6531 it’s like stencil stuff and electrum had a baby and this they baby… it holds solid for hours as long as you apply it and let it dry
@@TheMindOfMrfiggs thanks for the feedback !
You tried S8 only Safe FDA approved ink to be tattooed over into skin
Never tried it. FDAs stamp of approval doesn’t meant much to me.. they approve poison into our foods
I will take a look at it tho! Thanks
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial 😂😂😂 great comment!
bye bye stencil stuff hi electrum
I feel so wrong not using stencil stuff tho lol it’s all I’ve ever used, but I am switching over as well
I don’t know why but deodorant works best for me. Transfers from paper much more defined. Maybe I’m doing something wrong with stencil stuff
I never used deodorant just because I don’t think that should be injected into the skin. It’s Not made for that.
How are you using stencil stuff? It should hold your stencil solid if done right (waiting until its totally dry to start tattooing)
Pine sol
Lol wait are you suggesting to use pine sol?
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial yep. Learned it from a old as hell tattooer way back in the late 90’s. Kind of like they called witch hazel “cooler”, they called it “pine oil” lol
Oh lol I thought you were suggesting the cleaner
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial it is! Old schoolers were crazy 😂
