Alcohol or hand sanitizer is ESSENTIAL to a long-lasting stencil. It removes all of the oils from the skin before placing the stencil and will make it last a lot longer.
Shave with a good amount of green soap in your mixture, rub the shit out of the area with alcohol, let it dry, then use your favorite solution to place the stencil.
You'll be surprised how much oil and dirt you'll get off of a client's skin when you really scrub it hard with alcohol. Just look at your paper towel before you throw it out. Pretty gross.

Take a damp paper towel after applying your stincil layout over the stincil to get the excess carbon of the skin be careful not to smear just pat the damp paper towel you will be surprised how much longer it will last

First you gotta clean the skin with alcohol or like he said a higher amount of green soap. Clean that area super good and then take a look at the paper towel. It will be dark. Those are oils that don’t let the carbon stencil attach itself well. Once the area is cleaned really good and shaved. I apply proton from dynamic. It’s a gel ( blue or pink it doesn’t matter) and it has been the best. Really gets into the skin and you don’t have to worry about smearing since it’s a gel it’s not watery.

I've used hush foam at the end, let it sit for 5-10 minutes covered with Saran Wrap. Not only does this help to soothe the skin and bring the redness down but it will take any left over stencil right off. I sometimes wipe with only distilled water or with band aid antiseptic solution to preserve my stencil as well.

If you wait around 5-10 mins regardless the redness from blood surfacing will reduce naturally anyway, but nice tips.. 🔥👍🏻🔥

The best product for applying stencils I've found in 18yrs is good old KY Jelly. I am the king of losing stencils, I couldn't get one to last 2-3hrs with any of the other products and I've tried a ton of them. It looks weird to the client and you have to use a little more to get a dark stencil, but I get them to stay on for two full days while working on back to back pieces. Everything else mentioned in the video are good tips as well.

What i d is. After i shave the area, i apply alcohol to dry out the skin ,(NOTE) it might burn a bit so i let know the customer that, and then i place the stencil , it last a lot,, plus i only use distiled water to wipe out while tattooing i dont use geen soap at all,, i use it just to clean up tables, chairs and stuff like that.
