Brother you just saved me so much frustration with my transfer machine!!! I have had it for a few months now and have apparently been doing it completely wrong. I had the transfer side running through and not the ink side. Tried the way I watched you and what do you know......Perfect stencil so thank you from the depths of my wallet
BRO! I'm Tj... I've been drawing everything and anything since I could walk. Most my life I've been told by many people, family friends I should become a tattoo artist. I'm finally just now getting around to accomplishing that goal as well. I got everything I need to start tattooing. So I've been doing a lot of reading, research, watching many Utube videos on becoming a Tattoo artist. I'm fully aware that tattooing and drawing on paper are 2 completely different things. With that being said I'm very confident I'm already ahead of the game. Just wish I would of started tattooing earlier. I'm not rich by any means.. but plan to be..lol. so I went ahead and purchased the (Dragonhawk Mast) tattooing pen. Mind you I'm New to this business .. So I just want to Say THANK! YOU! So Very much! for helping Us beginners get Started on the Right Foot! I've watched a few of your videos and I must say Your a Great Teacher! instructor! And Coach! To say the least. .. Please Keep making Videos. Please Keep doing what you're doing! I Greatly appreciate All your work! Sincerely a Fan Tj
Thank you, brother. I really appreciate your content and professionalism. You’re encouraging nature has helped me tremendously in pursuing tattooing in my art career.
Bro,..I Like your Videos because Not only are they Very informative, But Clear, Understanding, and loud 🔊 When in Training..its NICE to be able to hear the instructor speak! Half these other Tattooing instructors on videos, you can barely hear them talk?# its frustrating. This guy☝️ is a professional. No doubt. Thanks Again for Being Great! Sincerely Tj
This was awesome man! Thanks so much! I have a full portfolio, but I haven’t been working on practice with my machine and fake skin. So I’m getting into it and this video was a great help for getting my fake skin ready with solid stencils. Thanks again!
I bought an old dot matrix printer a couple of years ago as my transfer printer I think it was about £15-20 including delivery. It's perfect for me as I only tattoo myself as a hobby. I tend to think of a design draw it on paper the traditional way, then scan it into digital format and do any editing in Krita/GIMP then get the size right and print it out on my transfer paper.
YES this video was very helpful and really education now I can make stencil with worrying about getting a stencil printer (which I will get definitely) but for the pain time I can just trace over the image I want thank you so much
😮 I ❤ how broke everything down from start too ending your video really let me understand how you do tattoos i didn’t know how at first but now I understand perfectly how tattoos are done.. Thank love,I’m new at this point b😢but I got it now again thanks keep making these videos they really helps me 😅🎉🎉❤
I’ve been binge watching ur videos and they’re all so educational- we all appreciate it! I wanna ask, could I use a regular printing machine (& stencil paper) to create a stencil? Huge thanks in advance
Can you use other ways to get the stencil on the paper without using the carbon paper? Starting out on fake skin as someone completely new I want to make sure I get the best possible use out of the materials for practicing before scrapping it.
You sure about Amazon I got mines from there same look but I made sure it was the store tho🤔 also tankhs for the info especially about other paper with the transfer ink side
Can you re use the stencil paper through the thermal printer once you’ve already made a design or is that way your explaining to draw the rest of the designs ?
The problem is my stencil comes off to easy. I clean the skin with green soap, shave the area, wipe with green soap again, then use an alcohol wipe. Let that dry a min. Apply Electrum stencil primer just enough to cover the area lightly. I let that sit for a few minutes to tack up. Finally, I place stencil on. I try to give that 15mins to set up before tattooing. I blot as much as I can and wipe from bottom down, BUT this is where things start to turn South and the lines start to fade. Any suggestions?? Thanks
I'd say try leaving the stencil on to rest longer, you can leave it on for about 30 mins and see if that helps. If not, it could also be the way that you're wiping. For example if you use a thin layer of vaseline before you wipe, it'll help to get ink off the surface easier and will be less abrasive on the stencil
Do you have to use those connected stencil papers? I own ink paper and stencil paper seperate. Can I still use this on this type of machine? Tried it earlier and didn't manage to get any stencils.
Im wondering which of printers will be the best choice for fine lines stipple/pepper shading 0.18/3rl 0.40/1rl ? Epson with ink stencil ecotank or something small thermal like brother or m08f phomemo. ??
Thanks for the video! does anyone know why my stencils would be coming out patchy? I just tried doing stencils with a new stencil machine I bought off Amazoon, its a second hand printer im using to print design (new ink cartridge though). Im confused, if anyone has suggestions id be grateful
Could you do a video on the same thing hand drawing but with a drawing that has alot of lines to it .iv got a ? Im steal hand drawing my stincel and if something has a really bold and thick outline do I have to Trace both sides of the black line and then fill in the middle are just trace it then fill in when im tattooing it on fake skin

Huge thanks in advance
The ink from your printer won’t work for stencil paper. You’ll need a thermal printer.
u can do it with a cricut
What how do you use a cricut for this?
The second way is a good idea. Thanks for showing that. Awesome
!!!!!!! un énorme merci pour c'est astuce avec le stencil !!!
excellent explanation
Thanks bookie 😊
You deserve an award for this istg😭‼️
Can you use other ways to get the stencil on the paper without using the carbon paper?
Starting out on fake skin as someone completely new I want to make sure I get the best possible use out of the materials for practicing before scrapping it.

Ryt On Q...it is the 1st video I've seen on tattooing
For the hand stencil, was it just normal paper or was it a special stencil paper? Like can you use just normal printer paper?
Thanks!
Thank you dude✌👊
Which machine is that? Which is best or recommended?
You sure about Amazon I got mines from there same look but I made sure it was the store tho🤔 also tankhs for the info especially about other paper with the transfer ink side
Do we have to mirror the image?
thank you for this video
Thanks brother!
I use a slightly simpler stencil machine. It's bluetooth. Don't know if it's any better but it doesn't require a pre printout.
So helpful
I have learned a lot I now can tattoo fall lish thank you
does it just stick on when ur done with those steps? or do you need something for it to go on the skin?
Deodorant gel kind
Thanks Great video
Hello
Am a newbie in tattoo designs
Please what do you mean by fake skin??
can the stencil that’s being transferred be printed on normal paper from a computer before you transfer it to spirit paper?
Omg thank God for you! I appreciate your videos. ❤️💯💪🏾
Glad you like them!
Is that arrow image on like regular print paper?
Can you re use the stencil paper through the thermal printer once you’ve already made a design or is that way your explaining to draw the rest of the designs ?

Do you need a different paper to do hand stencils?
No
What about the animal and shadow stancils?
Can be done with this maschine? 🤔🤔🤔🤔...show us pls
What machine is this plz🙏
Can I use any pen without worry of ink poisoning?
So how would I get the picture to print Is it a separate printer for the actual stencil printer or I could use that too
anyone ever used a deodorant stick in a pinch for transfer gel?? tried it once. seemed to work ok. any other ideas?
It works like a treat on fake skins, though if you're tattooing on someone you'd probably want to get some stencil stuff
I have never heard that Ball pens can have differnet thickness. Can you rexomend a brand? I can't seem to find any thing online

Do you have to draw your tattoo first or
Can you print out an image and put that in there
Can you reuse the stencil sheet in the printer ?

Epson with ink stencil ecotank or something small thermal like brother or m08f phomemo.
??
Tnx so much Brandon to all the tips! It really helps me a lot as a newbie🙂🙏
hiii thank you. but how can i take the shadows off the designs before printing the stencil pls
thanks bro

patchy in the dark areas? it could either be the design is not dark enough-or you may be using poor quality stencil paper
For your 7 RL & 5RL are they 0.30?
Ive heard you can use a regular printer???
What Printer is this?
What was the name of the machine you used?
Yo Thanks
This video helped me out...
Can you give us a website to get that same stencil machine you have?..Ty…love your videos by the way
So where was this fkn awesome printer sold. you know what. Screenshot it and let xhatgpt figure it out
would this work on shoes? 🤔
What kind of stencil machine is that ?
when you go to apply the stencil wont it be backwards?
no the image is in reverse when u print it off but because its flipped in our eyes it isnt flipped when put onto skin
for the hand stencil, did you print it out on standard printer paper?
and if so cant I just get regular carbon transfer sheets and print my design onto standard paper, and trace?
Drop link for printer!?
what if you don’t have a heat machine can you use something else
Who do you attach the copy to the skin for lining
What thermal printer is it that you have please? X
Who else watched this w their hands covered in blue? 😅
👋🏼Me but black ink😂 first day learning
Lol how'd you know 😂😂

Yeeai! Comment section full of tattoo artist from around the world
More than likely gonna sound super dumb but. Is the original design just on normal paper printed out by a normal office printer?
Yes it is
@@Tattooing101 Thank you! Your videos are a great help for a beginner that over thinks everything.

Is it also possible to make a stencil of a photo from your cell phone with a stencil machine ??
I'm about to attempt this now
Ja mam taki problem że jak już przeniosę wzór na ciało to część wzoru rozmazuje mi się po 3-4 przetarciu rany
let it dry longer
@ a na jaką długość wystawiłaś igłę do lini oraz cieniowania ?
Thanks a lot man.
Is your printer a toner? or just a normal ink printer?
