So lovely to catch up. Definitely love to see your little garden and the strawberry plants. Strawberries and cream in summer then! Little chef is so cute ❤ some great works in progress too. Congratulations on 5k, you deserve it!!
Congratulations on reaching 5000 subscribers! Viewing your garden would be great. Love the color of the Opal yarn. And your new books! Look forward to seeing what you create from those. Best wishes!
Congrats on 5000! My how you have grown! I am so happy for you! I love strawberries 🍓! Yes you may show them but I would rather eat them. Now you will have to do another cooking show. It's time! You will probably do some still life paintings too! I love the feel of bamboo. I found that it split and that's when I bought very pointy bamboo needles. It helped a bit. The chef is cute and the book choices are very nice. I would love to see Coppenhagen. You sometimes share pictures.....where are the pictures???
Hey hey!!! Thanks so much for your comment!!!! Glad to know it’s not too late for the strawberries 😂 hopefully we ll get some fruits at some point…in terms of cooking….well let’s say I d rather eat 😅
So no strawberry tiramisu! Maybe strawberry shortcake with biscuits or lady fingers? Rethink that cooking show!!! My granddogson loves strawberries too. My daughter dropped a strawberry on the floor and he went crazy. That’s my boy!
Congratulations to the 5k milestone. 🎉 Love your glasses. Regarding rowing out. I think the problem was in the section when knitting flat. Find out if your purls are looser or your knit stitches. What is helping have one needle smaller when knitting flat.
Congrats on 5k!!! I love gardening as well and have been indulging in it this spring and so happy to see all the flowers in my garden. Gardening content is always welcome ❤ Also, love your vests and I have been thinking of making more vests this year and it hasn’t happened yet. Love the colors you picked ! Also, i need to knit with bamboo yarn too haha
I just found your podcast and I'm so happy I did! I see so many peoole knitting patterns for women but I love to see your perspective on mens knitwear. Plus great inspo for the people in my life who would prefer more masculine knitwear :)
If I can go hiking on the weekend, that's what I do. I don't knit on the weekend very much either. We multi hobby people should not feel bad about doing different things at different times. Sorry you got judgemental comments on that. I also would buy all the strawberry plants on sale too! I love strawberries. I learned to knit on cotton yarns, so i have no idea how to give tips and tricks because I was self taught and spend most of my time figuring things out on my own and a lot of time being lost. I only knit with bamboo once. It was the most splitty yarn I've ever used. I'll be interested if I just got bad yarn or if that's your experience too
My opinion about the Safran is that it is best to use it in crocheting. I dont like it either in knitting because i think it is too twisted for it. It might help you if you iron it after you wash and block it. I just prefer not use it at all .
I'm having the same problem with cotton yarn. I also thought I was quite a consistent knitter but this yarn is showing up all my flaws! A lot of it is texture which helps but it's bordered by ribbing which looks so messy compared to what I'm used to. I'm going to try a cotton merino blend. I normally just knit with merino in the summer, as I live in Wales, but I want to get better with plant fibers.
I was tempted with a cotton merino blend as well, and that may be the solution probably. Ribbing wise, yeah, I thought it would become a problem. I might try with a smaller needle size than I would use, and perhaps a hard hard blocking … let’s hope for the best
Sam, we are knitters, of course we want to see your garden! 🍓🍓🍓 AND! You should make/publish a fingering weight sweater pattern. You clearly know how to do the math and figure it out and you can’t be the only one who wants and needs more patterns. I am always looking for men’s sweaters and I am hopeless at math and can only follow an exact pattern. Please think about it. PS: where is Jonathan? I imagine he is furious about the tiny chef! 😂
5.000 - great! Congrats❣️ I love following you, but as a fellow musician I'm sure you can understand how annoying the background music can be. Do you enjoy background music in supermarkets (if you have that in Ireland)? As a musician I can't NOT listen to it; but if it were louder, it would be compromising your speak. And anyway, the music you have chosen, as bland as it is, might not be to everyone's taste. Does it really have to be there?? I'm sorry to criticise. I don't want to be negative. But maybe I'm not the only one ... Best wishes from a fellow musician and knitter from Denmark 😊
Hello hello!!!! Thanks so so much for! As a fellow musician I appreciate very much your feedback! I will make sure to amend in future episodes! Thanks ☺️
Of course not! I really value all the feedback I can get and make my channel a bit better! I am currently just on Spotify…you can look up my name for the classical stuff or “the spotlight rock band” for the few recordings I did with my band ❤️ lot of love

Strawberry tiramisu!!!!! What a wonderful idea

Good point! Will see if blocking helps…I doubt it though 😂

Ohhh is that splitty?!? Bamboo feels really nice balled up, but haven’t tried it yet…hopefully won’t be a complete disaster…fingers crossed
@@irishfarmart I really hope it was just the brand I happened to use. Fingers crossed

Yeah I get the feeling…I am going to try and wash it quite hard and then iron it, let’s hope
For sure we want to see your garden Sam. Love the glasses too. 🍓🍓🍓
Coming soon!

Oh, Jonathan went out to the local pub tonight, he’s raging!!!! Doesn’t bear the sight of the new creature 😂
You look so cute in your glasses❤🧶
Thanks ahahah 😛

I'll need your surname to look you up on Spotify, won't I? I'm more into the classical 🙃
