Congratulations on 6k ❤️ I mean you have to make any of the Olympic Norwegian patterns. They are a couple of free ones in ravelry that are crazy beautiful. 1998 one. I think they are from the magazine Dale of Norway.
Hi Sam! Now, it's a cardigan, but check out the Figures pattern by Audrey Borrego. And in the Projects part, go see the one called Figures Test For Francis -- you can see several photos of it on a male body. I've this pattern myself, but not made it yet.
You just popped up on my feed. I've liked and subscribed. Thank you for telling us about Jardo's free patterns. And your book reviews are refreshingly honest. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Ciao Sam, congratulations! 🥳 I really like your podcast! 😊 I think, the pattern from Jenna Kostet, called "Iku-Turso" out of the book Kalevala is exactly what you're looking for... gauge is 13 sts/10cm... so fast to knit and warm enough for an Italian in Dublin... 😉 I started it in unspun yarn and love it! 🥰 Now it's just waiting for me while I "have to" knit the Christmas stuff... 😅 I'm curious which pattern you will choose... Wish you a nice december, Katja
Congrats on 6k. No idea if these are the kind of colorwork patterns that would appeal to you, but the Unbearable Hoodie is on my to make list. For next Christmas (because I know I can't finish it in time) I just discovered the Krampus Yoke sweater which my brother will laugh at and hopefully love. Both are fun colorwork
Thank you so much for the lovely words Sam I really apprecciate you!🥺🥺❤ ahahaha please take your time with the testknit there is no rush!! (I cannot wait to see your marbled version tho😍). Congrats for the 6k!! definitelly very well deserved. You have a very particular request, the only pattern that came to mind is the Rhue sweater by rebecca clow!! it has a saddle shoulder constrution top down, which is something you do not do too often; it has colourwork in the middle of it and you swap MC and CC as you go. It came to mind when you said dark at the top and light at the bottom.
Sam! I love your channel. Thank you! I am working on the Wixom sweater. its colorwork is simple but striking! I have seen on men too! also the For fox sake by Maxim cyr! its always great and would look GREAT on you!
Hi and congratulations for the 6000 subscribers! I think you are very good in colorwork so you should try the Norwegian olympic patterns. For example the Nagano Adult Pullover by Jorunn Heggdal, I think it is a free pattern. Thank you for the wonderful, and very funny, podcast, and I am looking forward to seeing your vlogmas in Italy!
Hey Sam, Congratulations on making your 6k milestone. Happy for you and it's well deserved, keep up the good work. Lovely jumper, saddle shoulder seems to fit ones body better then others and more customizable I think. Also, nice Holiday decor behind you. Look forward to more in the future. Take care. Also, a thought, have you tried phrankos sweater pattern? Interesting program where you add your gauge and measurements then provide a pattern to which you can add your own color work cabling etc. just a thought and maybe worth looking at least.
Have you seen patterns by Max the Knitter (Maxim Cyr)? His ‘Be Positive’ jumper is modern. I really enjoy your podcasts with all of the different crafts and book recommendations. Just finished Pillars of the Earth which I thoroughly enjoyed 😊
Oh it’s an amazing book!!!!! One of my favourites! I am tempted to read it again 😛 thanks for the pattern recommendation! I did knit a pattern of Max the knitter a few years ago…wasn’t my most brilliant job 😅
Congrats on 6k! I have a few different pattern recommendations… from the same designer! Sophie Ochera does some really great, interesting, fun, modern color work. I’ve made 3 of her designs and I have plans to make 3 more this year!
Ciao Sam, congratulations on the 6k! You should check the pattern called "Bosque de Araucarias Sweater" by Sacdrac Opazo or "Trembling" by Anna Maltz. I think both would look ace on you!
Hello! All the best from rainy, cold and gloomy London! Have you every consider to try PATTERNS of Védís Jónsdóttir? absolutely lovely colourworks. I had two jumpers knitted based on her patterns. Highly recommend.
There is are free knitting patterns called Deer John and Drops Design 32-11 Sweater with stars and reindeer which might help you with your Ugly Holiday jumper. If you like video game motifs, Eight Bit has some cute motifs you could incorporate into your next colorwork jumper.
Nice sir
Thanks and welcome
Your sweater looks amazing. I recently also discovered the great collection of knitting patterns by järbo.
Oh thank you!
