I feel like in an alternate universe this album is a thing. Imagine, 1987 could've been a great year for Beatles fans with Cloud 9 and this, top notch music
amazing remaster!! have always been frustrated i couldn’t listen to this in higher/better audio quality. thank you so much! i’m absolutely over the moon that i found this!!
Ahh I'm a sucker for LinnDrum drum programming lol. Love the backwards piano at the end and this is a very good track! Hopefully it gets released sometime in the future.
Well back then my plans had slightly changed and I wanted to turn it into a new album with a different, shorter and more "historically accurate" tracklist, since a couple songs from the original bootleg were recorded after 1987 and some like in the early 80s, which would've been a bit weird. I actually finished this album, with a new cover and all of that, but UA-cam took it immediately down and I never came back to it. I think I also lost the files sadly.
This is what John had in mind in calling Paul's music "Muzak!" Pure schmaltz... "peppered" with cloniish glimpses of previous Paul greatness stirred into a sugary glop, finally devolving into pathetic parody.... all topped off with some of Paul's most inane lyrics (and that's an achievement). Sgt. Pepper is rolling his eyes, and pointing to the way out of Pepperland for "Sir" Paul. "And don't come back!"
This goofy demo alone is better than 90% of Lennon's solo output. The sad truth is that John's genius had almost all but vanished after the end of the Beatles and the horrible primal scream therapy he was forced to undertake. On the other hand, Paul always had a bizarre taste, which I don't think those who don't like music-hall can truly appreciate (but then again, if that was the case you wouldn't even be able to stand Sgt. Pepper), and he too was greatly hampered creatively after being deprived of the other three, but in comparison his solo material is light years ahead of Lennon's.
what are on to? this sounds like the stuff xtc was doing with dukes of stratosphear. which is only fair, since they were aping mccartney first and foremost

It is a shame that Paul hasn't released this... I want to add it to my playlist so bad

Paul el Genio.
11/10
Nice. Do you have the link to this remaster?
No, but you can download it via UA-cam Download tools.
Класс, звучит по Битловски!!!
Oh please, Paul...
What happened to your plan to release remasters of the rest of the demos? There's probably never been a better time than now tbh.

@@alekskrakoew8584 Damn! That's incredibly frustrating.
@@thedonttouchthatdialguy Yeah, but maybe I'll do a new try some day. I'm still pretty obsessed with that era
@@alekskrakoew8584 Best of luck whenever you do!
It's not bad, really.

@rustyreid3508.
Sure, perhaps John's idea of non Granny music was Yoko Ono's gutteral yelps or Revolution 9..
Yeh...But I still love it.

Nah, listen to the melody.
Nice remaster. But the song... ugh. Even Paul understands it's a travesty.
Why?
This melody pops into my head all the time
@@EditUnivers75 I had the very same feeling with you, what a melody
Love Paul but yeah, this is bollocks.
But a long way better than some of the stuff he’s producing now. 🤔
