My first bike is a 2024 ZX10R. I've been riding for about 3 months now. You need to have ALL the respect for these machines. You have to be completely honest with yourself and ask , Are you responsible enough to have 200hp and not let your ego control your right wrist. It also never escapes your mind that these are $20k dollar machines plus whatever mods you add. I love that gold bro! Be safe homie! Great video!!!
@@Bluegrasscycles Man I love everything you said here. All facts. “Not let your ego control your wrist.” Going in with that mindset makes everything a lot easier and simpler when going into being a new rider. Thanks man! It’s my buddy’s, not my bike. I was just reviewing it I like those new ZX10R’s. How do you like it? It’s a bike I want to
@chillwithkea Thanks bro!!! Ok so to me it's ultra fast but as far as bike stats it's ultra restricted. It's twitchy but you learn to be smooth on the throttle. It's tame til 6k then it's a different bike all the way to 13k. I did a 2.5 hour ride before I noticed the seat. I needed a break after that. My back never hurts. I've done ASV levers, RPM Carbon front and side fairings Woodcraft sliders, TST tail light and fender delete, M4 Slip on exhaust. Next is finish the carbon and flash tune. I have the black/black version. Every time I see it, I can't believe I own the keys.
@@VirgilHawkinsIs and that was main point in the video that I got into towards the end. You can theoretically but shouldn’t lmaoo 😂😂 this was a video for people who are going to buy a big bike no matter what people says. I just wanted to make sure that people take it easy and be humble if they do 💯
@@chillwithkea ngl, only reason I started on a 600 is because I'm too small for a 1000cc. 🤣 Busas in similar condition to my gsxr were barely $2k more. 😢
I have the cleanest '03 in the united states and the only thing I don't agree with is that this bike wouldn't be too heavy for a beginner. Going at slow speed turns might pose some issues, other than that I think its a great starter bike lol If a beginner doesn't have wrist/throttle control they can still hurt themself bad on a 400
I don't know if I 100% agree because it's easy to get away from you fast. I personally thinking starting on something smaller is worth while but as always personal opinion. Keep up the great content!
@@UrbanMoto that’s definitely a great appoint and fair enough! I’ve been riding motorcycles for any years now and it took me a good bit to get figure out the bite point on this bike while taking off lol smaller is always better but I just wanted to make a video saying that it can be done but you have to take A LOT OF CAUTION while doing so compared to something smaller. Definitely appreciate your comment and support! 💯
At what 585lbs and 1.5 normal sports bikes long..you would probably enjoy a 375lb ninja 400 /500 or even a ninja 600 /650 bike as they are so easy to throw around and control overall..
yeah on the ninja 400 I'm blipping the throttle all the time which does nothing bad, will defiantly be surprised by the level of throttle control for bigger bikes.
@@ExploreTogetherYT absolutely, I started in a ninja 400 myself. It’s night and day for sure. Definitely take your time on the bigger hikes whenever you do get one brotha
And this is why so many beginner riders kill themselves or others on over powered bikes cause they can't handle them starting on a lower cc is always better for a beginner
I own a 2007 Hayabusa. Very good bike, but I don't recommend using one as a starter bike. Too heavy and too powerful. I started in 1972 on a 50cc Suzuki Gaucho that a friend owned.

You can restrict a bike but you can't restrict stupidity.

Rode a buddy’s OG Hay Bus back then. The tach and speedo were almost in sync.
80 miles an hour in first gear. Awesome machine.

No one SHOULD start on a Busa but you CAN do it...theoretically. But what do I know!? I started on a 400. 🤣🤣😂😂
