    Yes.
Got my license almost 6 months ago, got my bike a month later.
Developed a certain level of confidence for the next month, went on a group ride.
Made and still making tons of friends.
If you go to a group ride and walk up to every person and say hello, they become friendly faces that are enthusiastic to see you the next time.
If you don't know what to talk about at the start (like I didnt), just ask what they ride and let them talk about their bike. Get to learn about bikes and watch someone talk about their pride and joy.
    Definitely cures it for me.

I'm hoping one day all us autistic people can form our own world together. They will never except us being who we are. I think we see the world clearly it's normal people that have it wrong. Obviously you can't just be who you are. You have to conform to some norm. For example, do not shout in library just because you're autistic.
At least that is what I stereotyped of autistic people. I wish they have more have self control.
Having said that, training your social skills can be helpful to be more accepted in community. I said training because I believe it is a skill, not a talent.
Just speaking from personal experience, I was a very unconformist guy who learned some social skills. Hope you can thrive and get ahead in life... peace..

this helped me man. im an 18 year old kid thats been obsessed with bikes for the past 3 years. i graduated this summer and have started working hard just to get one. one of the reasons is bcs of everything i have going on in my head. when im in my car going 100+ i forget everything as cringe as that sounds so i can only imagine what a bike could make me feel. youre right tho, all the bag of problems will be waiting for you right when you come back.

A bike for me was worth every penny. You have to respect the bike, though it's not like a car, they are called death machines for a reason. If you ride normal, they are probably safer than a car, though.
I really just wanted to recommend that you buy a used beginner bike rather than buying new or a big CC bike. Buying new for your first is a waste of money. Buying big is a steep learning curve. You can upgrade when you're ready, but if you don't start smart, it will take you longer to upgrade.
I spent three times more on my 390 Duke than my VFR. The VFR is king.

I hope you don’t mind but I want to share a quick opinion. I haven’t had the best childhood. I have had to fight bullies and eventually isolated myself. I’m still much of a loner to this day.
Motorcycles saved my life! It has given me the confidence to actually make friends and meet new people. You have a point when you mention that you may regress into the feelings of loneliness when you aren’t in the bike. Keep this in mind; you still have the passion that you can talk with others about and still meet new people even when not currently riding.

I had alot of problems coming to my way too. My ex-gf cheated on me, took my whole house, car, belongings and so on. We have 1 child together. Even though im his father, she won't let me see him on my own terms. I only see him 4 days a month. Took legal actions with my lawyer which already took 2 years of my life and it's still not settled. During that time, my dad had cancer and he passed away within 2 months after discovering it. Life has been harsh on me.. My soul kinda died and everything was unfair. However,
I never gave up, im fighting for custody for my kid. During these years i became a typical "heartbreak" gym warrior, and worked hard every day. Physically, im very fit now. It's like i'm taking my youth back. I also took motorcycle lessons and bought my first motorcycle, an Yamaha Tracer 900 GT from 2018. I'm having a blast on it. Like you said, driving a motorcycle doesn't cure the whole problem or situation, but it does help abit. I having a sense of freedom and slowly i'm turning my life into a better situation. I believe one day that everything going to be alright. But everytime i feel a little bit of sad or lonely, i just grab my bike and just drive where ever the winds take me. I know for a fact that at least my iron horse won't cheat on me.

For me, motorcycles have been a crutch and I've gotten too far lost in the hobby. I have 3 bikes and for a few years now all I've thought about was the hobby, then suddenly I look up and I'm well into my 30s and still single. But I do have a 17’ WR450 supermoto and an f80 m3. So when I get a little “lonely” I just wait for my girls to sleep and run out for a drive or ride. Helps me a lot and makes me not regret changing my life for the better. One day I’ll look for some friends with bikes etc but honestly I’m just focused on being a dad now. Works for me. Three years ago i went through a separation and mentally, i wasnt feeling well at all. i went from being a family man who got to spend every day with my beautiful daughter, to only getting to be with her every other week. the weeks my daughter lives with me i feel great! I sleep well, i look forward to coming home from work and picking her up from daycare, I'm just happier and overall more energized. but the weeks she stays with her mother, i am nothing but a shell of a man. I dont find joy in anything, i dont sleep and i kind of just drag myself through my lonely week.
this is kind of weird because i have friends and family that i am close with, so i am not lonely in the sense that i dont have anybody.
I find that while i am out riding my bike, my brain is too busy to think about how much i miss my daughter and how empty my home feels when she is not around.
Does a motorcycle cure loneliness? no, but it redirects your focus and acts as an escape from your own mind, which makes life a little less painful, even if its just for an hour or two.
I wrote this before finishing the video, so i dont know if i might be saying the same stuff you do in the video. i'll finish watching now :)

EDIT: and when i am alone i can go WHERE TF FK I want whenever i want and i can do anytjing i want , eat anything i feel like . DO ALL THE THINGS YOU LIKE in one day . Love your attitude. I don't ride, but do you think motorcycles could help you find community through a shared interest? I hear people talk about how there's more comradery, how bikers wave at each other, etc. Plus meets and group rides. It sounds like a hobby through which you can cure loneliness, even more so than cars.

@@jonathandoe69 definitely appreciate that Jonathan! Motorcycles can 100% help with community and shared interest. He met one of my closest pals of 4 years now through motorcycling. Motorcycles brought us to meet but now we’re friends outside of motorcycles, if that makes sense. When a biker is on the side of the road, another bike will typically pull over no matter what style of bike they are riding. It’s a great community for sure.
