It's kinda neat to see how different people interpret "Noble" My first character was a Noble-born Ancients Paladin whose whole noble deal was Noblesse Oblige, helping the less fortunate because that's literally his job.
I had a noble ranger that was the second-born in a DND campaign. Had chronic foot-in-mouth and was sent off to avoid causing any scandals Basically wound up being the power behind the throne at the end of the campaign because she had trash charisma but wisdom enough to give her brother ideas and let him play them out while she went into the woods to avoid accidentally offending the wrong people
I always save the shar +5 buff for the end of act 2, and 90% of the time I fukn forget to actually go get it before jumping into the oubliette… I usually remember like halfway to myrkul… I think all up I’ve actually remembered to get it beforehand like 2 or 3 times… forgot it on my first HM run, that sucked, like it was fine but it would have made me feel safer 😂
I have a feeling the mentioning about Isobel was because i asked it during the live stream😂 Saved her every time, exept in my Dark Urge Run….lets say the whole Inn was sleeping a long time. Great Vid, can‘t wait for Act 3
Yeah he did that on our earlier runs but it ended up being we took less damage when he was using his call since he was also killing the necromites, and we even got quite a few turns when he killed so many that he couldn't eat (and we had less chance of losing concentration, since we only got hit once per round)
@@the_truantfair enough, when I last fought boney jim, I used blade pact warlock with mobile, so I’d hadar him and then bonk him with that bone chilling hammer from the goblin camp. He just sat there and accepted his fate lol. I’m really liking seeing the tome warlock, I’ve never done that myself.
I remember playing through the game and knocking minthara out instead of killing her. I ended up stealing everything on her person so when I got to moonrise she was stark naked they fixed this by giving her clothes after she arrived at moonrise. But it was funny to find this just randomly through my play through.
Oh my god bonechill seems so useful on that fight. I always get stuck on myrkul which hasnt improved since I started (dis)honour mode runs so ive been looking for strats for the fight and this one seems perfect so I dont have to change the entire build of my characters
It probably just bugged out, but it's kinda funny how it looked like you threw the speed potion away at 25:49. If you look around the bottom left corner you can see a shadow fly offscreen a split second after you threw the potion. The Darkness blinded you so much you missed the floor. (Yes I know the Warlock class gives you immunity to Darkness if you choose the perk for it, which he did. It's just a joke.)
Okay, to settle the "Geringothe" pronounciation once and for all: a, o, u are dark vowels, meaning that you pronounce things like a G "hard", as in "guardian". e and i are light vowels, meaning that you pronounce things like a G "soft", as in "gin". This may not apply to every single word, as english borrows from a lot of languages and this rule is mainly present in French and German*, which influenced English a lot (aside from Latin but 1. we don't know about Latin pronounciation and 2. French is actually derived from Latin). So unless Geringothe is a name from another foreign language, I'd argue that it goes with the rule(s) I just stated, since those rules apply to most English words, if not all. *in German it does not apply to Gs, but to other consonants.
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I'm hoping this noble warlock understands the benefits of gaining the daughter of a goddess as an ally, i don't think it gets much more noble than literal Divinity
the omeluum mispronunciation continues, I found another bg3-tuber who pronounces them as oom-mer-loom: of which made me giggle. I think you've moved up a slight step in not having the worst botched speech in the bg3 community. Have a bronze "you tried" medal. O'mel'u'um. O-mel-u-um. The game has voice acting, its literally impossible to mispronounce something spoken to you.
if goonther were actually business-savy he'd have lifted the shadow curse to drive up property values...

I love how the pronunciation of gerringothe gets more and more cursed every time 😂
I love the constant alliteration and the distinct roleplay from one character to another. Loking forward to act 3!
Fear AND hunger is such a combo
I very much appreciate the alliterations. Great pacing!

I've definitely forgotten it a few times too don't worry!
This run is as cursed as the bourgeoisie... But I love it
Resource check by the end was very fitting. Literally pay to win.
Saturday is saved! Go Goonter go!
Been watching the streams and videos. Very fun and good content!
29:32 that was a banger part of the stream, derryth carry fr
i want to become with time that guy who always comments and likes your videos, love it, always watching the whole playthroughs
Loved the Slay the Spire music at 28:00. Made me do a double take when I first heard it!
I have a feeling the mentioning about Isobel was because i asked it during the live stream😂 Saved her every time, exept

Great Vid, can‘t wait for Act 3
Was glad to catch the streams on this one. Love the vids man, keep up the great work!
I've found if you chuck hunger of hadar over myrkul, he'll just skip his turn, not even using call of the damned.
Yeah he did that on our earlier runs but it ended up being we took less damage when he was using his call since he was also killing the necromites, and we even got quite a few turns when he killed so many that he couldn't eat (and we had less chance of losing concentration, since we only got hit once per round)

I sat near where Aylin normally spawns so the necromites *usually* didn’t cause problems, and ran right into the hadar instead.
I've been eagerly awaiting this one, looking forward to the next, and the stream inbetween! :D

Having to redo everything from Balthazar to Myrkul must have been brutal on your psyche
It was definitely frustrating but I have no one to blame but myself for not doing the math beforehand!
Your first video in the series got 50k+ views, pretty good for a 20k subs channel. I'm positive we'll get to 100k subs
Ori and the blind forest music in the background was very nice to hear
I’m lying down on my stomach kicking my feet in the air with childlike eagerness to see this video
I remember watching the "epic" fights vs. the shambeling mound on stream...a shame that they didn't make it into the final cut!
I’ll never get tried of this series

Dwarves are used to there being solid material in every direction :/
2:38 - this description is a meme holy mercy lol
Gather 'round kids, thetrueant just uploaded
Would love a druid run. Great vid!
I've been waiting for the next chapter, since I couldn't be on stream unfortunately😅
yaaaayyyyy a new thetruant vid!
How did you do that? How did you beat Act 2 only dying once and only resting once? That’s so cool. 😱
Nothing but raw skill and game sense
The God of Fear and Hunger acknowledges your suffering.
13:26 😂 you sound like my landlord
Shovel the MVP.
Are you going to buy the potent robes from minsc next act
For sure
Wait what you can buy them?
wtf you can buy those ?! thought you could only get it by saving everyone
ay 27:17 looks awfully familiar ... where have i seen this bit before

Welcome back 🎉
good video as always
Oh boy been waiting for 2 weeks
Gotta get that wisky wing uwu
Baby wake up, TheTruant just posted
I wish goonter was my landlord👅
did this man really get the harpers killed so he could do the moonrise tower raid alone and prove he could do it?
Who knew Warlock could be decent.
Truant how are you so charismatic
lonewolf or full party druid run!
...I wonder if you can kite the dark justiciar to Yurgir so that he deals the final hit and thus never broke the contract?
An interesting idea for sure, I somehow doubt the game has planned for such a thing though?
You're the greatest
Paladin run next please
Huzzah it’s gonna be a good late breakfast
I know the potent robe is overrated, but this IS an EB warlock build!!! It hurts
YEEAAAHHH
I just finished watching the first one😂
LET'S GOOO
why not use the Potent Robe ? it's like the best item for an eldricht blast warlock i feel like
Less than a minute after upload lets go!
TRAUNT TRAUNT TRAUNT!!!
You can manually end concentration??
Yeah! All you gotta do is click the x right by your character portrait!
nice
Peak
Truant, I see that you have never once pronounced Gerringothe’s name correctly. I am here to help. This is our lovely G-air-in-goth Thorm.
and shovel 🤣
I ask this just because I'm curious, but why not take the potent robe?
Well the actions it would've taken to get it don't fit how the character would behave imo, and also I just value high AC very highly for solo runs
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I'm hoping this noble warlock understands the benefits of gaining the daughter of a goddess as an ally, i don't think it gets much more noble than literal Divinity
Goon
Is it just me or the video has some weird micro stutters?
So early much warlock
1 view in 7 seconds? Bro fell off
NPC spotted
i have a deep hatred of mfs fishing for likes by using these unfunny trends
Bot lookin ahh comment.
UA-cam comment not just being a copy and paste - difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE
Bot ahh lookin comment
