- I found this dresser out in the trash and brought it home a few months ago. I had NO idea what to do with this thing! I finally got inspired by a stunning decor transfer from ReDesign with Prima and in this video you can watch my idea come to life. This is a bit of a departure from my usual minimalistic style but I love stepping outside the box every now and then.

Katie, I know you don't typically use transfers on your pieces but this one is stunning and definitely elevated the beauty of this piece. I loved it so much I went ahead and ordered one to use as background on a display cabinet I'm working on.
I was just telling my daughter I wanted to paint a bookcase and put wallpaper on the backing, but I think we'll give a transfer a go. This piece is stunning!

There is always a solution for little mistakes. The gold sharpie is a perfect solution and I like how it frames the transfer. 👏🏻

Katie, this is a gorgeous transformation! I’ve used transfers on several pieces now (I was reluctant at first until I did my first one) and love them. The way you described transfers - “they’re like a tattoo” - was a perfect description, instead of a sticker. And this transfer is exactly what I’ve been looking for! It’s a custom ordered hutch, painted a true black, to go on the back panel. The customer is from Miami but lives here in Dallas now, so the cranes give that Florida vibe and the colors match perfectly with the colors of their dining room!! You are not lying about the transfer! I recently applied it to a chalk painted surface without a topcoat and it took an eternity! I had suspicions that I could have made my life easier but In my head I wanted to do the top coat after the transfer😳
