One thing: The first bag of burgers you held up are cooked. The second are raw, correct? Something we don't think about a lot is the fact that we don't have to eat them as burgers, whether they're cooked or not. I get two pounds of raw frozen Angus patties (1/3 lb. each) at Aldi, and I can use three to make ground beef for meat sauce or taco meat or use them as pre-made burgers. Even if the burgers are cooked, you can crumble them to put on top of pizza or to put in meat sauce or a recipe.
The 2nd burgers of Kirkland 100% Grass Feed beef patties (15 in a pack). Yes, they are raw. As you say, you don’t always have to only have patties. Sometimes I will take a patty & thaw in fridge overnight. Then cut into 1-2” squares to cook up, set aside, cook some eggs in the beef fat, then stir fry veggies & add back in the beef squares to absorb whatever seasoning I’m cooking the veggies in.
I do the same thing, use them as just beef. If I need a pound I use 3 etc
Oh good point! I was thinking when she showed the burger patties "I can't eat burgers!" - I'm new to this channel and trying to watch my carbs and what I put in my body.
@@LA-ol9ht We can eat burgers, even on a low-carb bun! Hero makes a great one. Many of us eat burgers without buns. You can even order them at fast-food restaurants. They're a great way to get our protein.
@@LA-ol9ht As Mayra says, you can eat them in a lettuce wrap.
just realized: you say 'I've been maintaining for 15yrs' - yes, thank you! maintenance is an ongoing thing, losing weight is not a once and done thing for many of us. it's not like you lose and all of a sudden become one of the fortunate people who can eat what and how much they want, never to think about weight again.
lol this is correct. I got comfortable and now i gained everything back
Costco sells a 6 lb. bag of Italian meatballs. They're super low-carb and clean. I throw some in the microwave for about a minute and a half and sometimes eat them plain or with melted cheese. I've also put them in a low-carb hotdog bun with cheese for a sub or in a tortilla with cheese for a meatball wrap. Of course you can put them in sauce, but also try thawing them a bit in the microwave and crumbling them on pizza. Delish.
The seabass is worth it. I always buy 2 bags because it is easy to thaw a piece or two for a quick meal. I also buy the big fresh salmon and like you cut and freeze most of it. I buy the frozen as well but I think the fresh tastes better even after freezing. I know this was a frozen foods video but their Wild Planet albacore tuna is great too. Thanks for your tips!
Love Costco! I had to go low carb due to being told I was ONE point away from being diabetic. (I was considered pre-diabetic) I had gestational diabetes during all 4 of my pregnancies and I knew I did NOT want to be dealing with that again! I gained about 40 pounds during the pandemic and this was a kick in the butt to lose the weight. I’ve lost the 40 pounds and I am no longer pre-diabetic. Yeah! 👏🏼👏🏼 I love watching videos of low carb recommendations as there is always something I haven’t tried. BTW, I don’t do the “NET” carb thing, I count “ALL” carbs like I had to do during my pregnancies.
Once you have lost your weight, it us unhealthy to stay at 20 or below, especially for women
Congratulations! And good for you to take control before you slip over to the diabetic side!
@@debiwillis9045 20 or below what? Carbs? I lost weight eating 70 or so carbs a day. (gross carbs as I don’t do net)
@@cydkriletich6538 Thank you 😊 I already had to deal with diabetes during the hardest food craving time EVERRR so that ONE point was a huge NO for me. My father has type two and one of my children has type 2 so I’ll have to monitor it closely, probably forever.. I actually ended up waiting 2-3 weeks before even starting low carb and It HAD to start on a Monday! 🤣 I forgot one Monday so I waited until the next 🤣👏🏼👏🏼 I’ve been watching what I eat for about 7 months now. Actually, 32 weeks and 2 days. (Or 225 days) BWAHAHA 🤣
Congrats! My doctor just told I am close to being Pre diabetic too, so I'm trying to make some changes as well. I love watching LowCarbLove videos too!
I am new to low carb & have found your videos & tips are so helpful! Thank you!
I think you are a great role model for others in eating a healthy lifestyle by sharing your success & the choices you make to stay fit.
Love your costco low carb recommendations ❤
Thank you! 😊
Yessss!!!! I NEED to know you gluten free list!!! This will SO HELP me with my gluten free journey 🙌🏼🙏🏼🤩
Coming soon! ❤️
Thanks for doing this! Different Costco have different stuff. Some stuff you showing my Costco don’t have. Always buying frittatas! Love them! And the angus burgers I’ve bought ones and loved it!
For the burgers I use chaffles for my buns...highly recommend!
Thank you for another great trip to Costco!💝
I literally enjoyed this video!

Myra, I would love a video of all Gluten Free. I have celiac disease and learning to eat better. Please share the best finds. ❤
I have celiac disease and Costco is amazing for gf foods.
Do you follow downshiftology?
She has celiac and has great recipes.
These Costco tips are great. Keep them coming please
Will do! 🙌🏼 Where else do you shop?
Aldi and Walmart@@LowCarbLove
Could you also do this at Sam’s club please
I've only tracked calories to lose weight in the past but now I'm tracking protein in addition to calories. I've never been overweight but I'm just trying to stop myself from becoming heavier as I get older. It's so exhausting! I feel like I'm going to have to track for the rest of my life. I admire people who have been able to lose 100+ bc even at my lower weight it's so hard to not give in to indulgences. I'm not low carb but your ideas still help me because a lot of your suggestions are also low calorie ❤
For me, it’s been much easier to count carbs than calories. I’d recommend trying that for a little bit. After a while, you get to know what foods you can and cannot eat. Much easier IMO. Just stay away from anything white; sugar, flour, etc. that’s the easiest way to start. (I think)
@@michelleelle4622 I've tried to do that too and it does make you stay in a deficit more easily. Thanks! I def could never go fully low carb but have started to stay way from them when it's easier (ie avoiding added sugars especially in drinks). Also started opting for protien based options over ones with higher carbs, like veggies as a side instead of rice, but cant let go of them completely lol I love bread too much! 🤣
@@amna6024 My weakness is french fries 🍟🤣 You are not trying to lose, just not gain so apparently you are doing just fine 😉 Unless you start to gain, relax and don’t worry about it as much 🩷 Tips: I now weigh myself once a week and wear non stretchy pants. During the pandemic I was in leggings and t-shirts (I do artwork) and never stepped on the scale. Now I will wear non stretch pants (unless doing art) and stand on scale once a week. Had I been wearing jeans everyday, I can assure you I never would have gained so much!
@@michelleelle4622 thanks for your advice! I love fries too, my weakness is chips though! I gained during the pandemic too, prob bc I was wearing sweatpants all day too! finally lost most of it still trying to lose a little bit more to get to my pre pan weight. you're right that it's best to wear jeans with no stretch!
Live this. About to hit Costki now. Thanks.
I love you!! Awesome video. Do a carnivore Costco trip.
Thank you for the helpful tips as always! Good to have these in mind when I do my pre-filming Costco trip!😊
I got those burgers, and you’re right. Fantastic!
I've been getting the crispy wings for a while and just got the egg bites recently and both of them are great.
Thanks -- this was a great video, I did see some things I will look for next time such as the portioned frozen fruit. I am also a big fan of the Milton's cauliflower pizza. Some of the things, though, come with too much food for me as a single person. Even though they are frozen, vegies tend to get icy and dry in my freezer if I keep them more than a few weeks and my freezer isn't that big either. Do you have a deep freeze or a large freezer to handle these large amounts?
Maintaining for 15 YEARS! You GO, girl!
Hello
As always love your videos
Had a question what other electrolites would you recomend besides the packets you use ?
Those are a bit pricey
I keep my freezer stocked with those 100% grass fed burgers 🍔
Also, when it comes to seafood always choose wild caught over farm raised.
Great video!! Have a nice week!!!💛🌻😘
I love your videos they have been so helpful to eat right to get this weight off.❤
Hi Myra. Great info. Please do a video for gluten free products. That would be so useful.
Thanks for this info.
Glad it was helpful!
If you have never tried the Eglands best cheese omelettes. They are wonderful and a very easy quick breakfast. Toddlers love them too.
Yesss, please share the gluten free finds😊 I'm also allergic to Yeast, so if they are yeast free as well, that would be great 😊
Fun fact there are purple and white carrots too 😊 Thanks for sharing some ideas Myra
Yes! Would love a GF video!! Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful tips!
Thank you for the Costco finds. It would help me if you also said the prices for the items. Thank you!🥰
Thanks for all the yummy food ideas 😊 Love Costco
Yes a Gluten Free video would be great 😃 Thank you!
You got it! Coming soon! 😊
Thank you 😊
Yes please would love your gluten free choices because I have had way too many awful ones.
Love shopping at Costco I just when there yesterday and I go there every month or day
Great.. thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching 😊
Thank you Mayra😊
You’re welcome 😊
I would like to see a gluten free video please. I am low carb but my daughter is GF and we came across the Kirkland Cauliflower pizza and we keep in stocked all the time, it is soo good! I also love in the fish section Ahi Tuna, blackened
I went to Costco yesterday and I bought a big thing of sushi ❤ it was so good.
chilean sea bass...get it! I made a mistake looking at the prices in the past (top and bottom price) so I thought these were only 26.99 but turned out to be 40 something...it was best mistake i've ever made. it's worth it IMO.
Frozen food has definitely saved me while fasting & doing low carb. I can take out what I want, when I want. I keep food much longer now too 😂 iykyk
Can you do a video about lunch food?
Another amazing post and I don't even have a Costco membership! Please do a gluten free post on breads, pizzas, crackers, tortillas, etc Best from Colorado!
Yes please, I would love a video on your favorite gluten free products. Dairy free too. I love dairy but need to limit.
Definitely the gluten free list for sure. I’ve been gluten intolerant for around 10 years so I’m always on the lookout for good things. Never tried the Morton’s pizzas but the gluten-free Safeway brand vegetable pizza is my favorite…. But it’s not low-carb so I only treat myself once in a while. 😊 by the way, Costco has a huge bag of chili lime almonds for $13 and their low-carb and they are fantastic.
Yes I’d love to hear about your holy grails of your gluten free goodies. Thank you
You got it!
Thanks Mayra. I would like to see your gluten free list. Cheers.
I love you low carb love, you’re so pretty.🥰
Would love to see some options for those of us on a very limited budget, but still want to eat Keto.
Got it! 🙌🏼
Im obsessed with her aesthetic
It would be helpful if you would show the tag for the products name and price.
Great video as always! Please make a video with your gluten free Holy Grails!!
Wish I had a Cosco nearby
I saw you at Costco!!!!! I should have said hi!!
Is this a re-uploaded video? I feel like I’ve seen it before and I haven’t been able to find the riced cauliflower or cooked burger patties at Costco for a long time.
1:10 Definately use clean sauce on those. For me the sauce puts me down hard. Plus Primal K sauce is 10x better in taste and right there in 2packs at costco.
Hi Mayra
Hope you're doing well
When you go to Costco do you scan items with the Bobby approved app?
When I go to Costco I do and get great stuff
Thank you for your videos, tops and recipes 👍👍👏👏❤️❤️
What’s a Bobby approved app? 10:52
Can you talk more about Gluten Free foods and recipes? Thank you
Can you please take this series to Sam's Club? I would appreciate it so much. It's the only wholesale store near me.. Thanks for sharing this content
Yes, please share your favorite gluten free items!
Yes please do a gluten free video! I always look 9 months pregnant when I eat anything gluten! I've tried gluten free flour an it just doesn't taste good. I need lots of ideas please!
I love chicken 🐔 wings 😋
Yes, please, share your best gluten free products, I am also gluten intolerant, thank you
Will do!!
Yes to the gluten free video!!
I need to get them wings again because they are delicious
Please do a gluten free go to video! I get frustrated watching some videos where they used many low carb but gluten filled shortcuts that I can’t use
Do you have a Sam's Club there by chance? I don't have a Costco club card, my parents do, but they don't go to Costco often
I looked at the carb count in the cauliflower crust pizza and I thought the carb count was a bit high so I haven’t tried it.😊
yes, on gluten-free food ever since I went gluten-free, I've been able to get off my joint pain medicine for autoimmune arthritis
Yes, Gluten Free items video please!
Do you do online coaching?
I have Addison's disease, and must take steroids daily. The drug messes with my body's sugar levels, so I have had to start counting sugars. I just placed a grocery order, and about went blind reading labels.🙄 I don't have issues with gluten, but I eat mostly GF except for bread. I cannot find a decent GF bread that tastes good and is not so small. What does agree with me is the Dave's Killer bread because it is sprouted. I only eat it a couple of times a week.
Do you have any suggestions for a decent GF bread? I LOVE the GF frozen waffles from Trader Joe's!! I will treat myself on the weekends, adding some nuts and a very small amount of syrup (I mead like a tablespoon or less drizzled over them!)
I don't eat bananas very often, but I freeze banana slices to add to my smoothies once in a while!
Yes, please share your GF products info. Been GF for several years but finding good tasting things is difficult - ESPECIALLY on keto, most use wheat
Noted! Coming soon! 👏🏼
7:04 I asked Costco this past week, where I can get info on their food products safety, especially if the Stir Fry Blend Veggie Blend is GMO or if it is pesticide FREE. Nothing on the label of this product and many others, tell us anything, and no info is available online either on this big seller.
There's a soy allergy in our house. Do you know how hard it is to find soy free items in the store? Nearly impossible and we also have a gluten intolerance in the house too. Great tips.
I would love the holy grail of gluten free items
Thanks
I would like to know more about gluten free meals
Its the corazón gal . . .
I have Hashimotos/Hypothyroid would love to hear about best gluten free because i need to go gluten free
I also have a collection of autoimmune diseases, and I try to be GF. But I don't ever notice feeling differently after eating gluten. Anyway, my favorite GF is the Trader Joe's GF frozen waffles! I just had some for dinner. I add nuts on top and a tiny bit of syrup. I'm still on the hunt for a GF bread that I can tolerate, and isn't the size of a cracker!
Can you please do a haul at BJ'S?
Wake n bake then UA-cam then Costco for 9am open. N a ice cream 🇨🇦🥶👽
Regularly purchase the Sea Bass. Shame they only come with 5-6 pieces
Love your videos girl but when I hear "Star-B's" and now "Costky"....😬😬
I love your UA-cam
What if you have high blood pressure ?
Yes please make a gluten free video 👍
I can’t find the cauliflower rice at my Costco. I’m in the Maryland area.😢
Hi new to channel thanks to friend
Yes please do a holy grail gluten-free video!!! 🙏
Noted 🙌🏼
@@LowCarbLove ❤️🙌🏻
Why do you call is Cost-kie instead of Costco?
Low carb is hard when you have limit salt intake.
‼️The Kirkland brand Cauliflower pizza is better❤️✨I love rice, so mix it 1:1 with cauliflower rice ✨Also the Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon burgers are yummy and great for quick meals‼️✨
