- Kriya Yoga is often considered to be one of the most effective spiritual practices for its power to internalize and lead to transcendental states of consciousness. However Kriya Yoga alone is insufficient for complete enlightenment. That's why at Modern Kriya, we teach both Kriya Yoga and Daoist Internal Alchemy with the goal of whole body enlightenment. Kriya IS the pinnacle of Yog! 🌟🌠
As a Kriya yoga practitioner, I agree that to deal with internal issues we also need other practices like therapies to get over burdens etc the psychological side of human life, needs to be addressed in order to live and interact in a healthy way with ourselves and in the world
It sounds like you've had some some experience around dealing with internal issues. What sorts of strategies have you used?
Yep 🔥🙏🕉️
Hello Sir does tranquil breath feel only at the belly button and not at the nasal or lungs. Can you share on this, since I go into this state during every meditation.
@srividhya vinod The Tranquil Breath occurs when the breathing becomes successively more shallow until it seems to disappear. One may feel the shallowing of the breath in the abdomen or in the upper lungs and nose. It doesn't really matter where you feel the transitional breath. Once one is in the Tranquil Breath, one becomes deeply internalized and the body may disappear from one's awareness, feel like it has become a shadow, or feel like one is within a hard shell. This is then an opportunity for the yogi to settle into dharana, to become absorbed in inner perceptions (dhyana), and to become one with the emerging perceptions (samadhi).
That's great that you're getting into the Tranquil Breath regularly. Keep going deep in your meditations using the springboard of the Tranquil Breath!
@@ModernKriya thank you 😊 glad I found this channel.
@srividhya vinod. You're very welcome. Let me know how it goes.
no, it is not the most advanced practice. Moreover, there is no such thing as Kriya-Yoga, it is a concoction of methods from real Yoga Paths, like Hatha, Raj and Tantra
What sorts of things do you consider as advanced yoga or spiritual practice?
@@ModernKriya Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo is the most advanced Yoga of our age
That may be. How would you see Sri Aurobindo’s practices relating to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras?
@@ModernKriya Sri Aurobindo did not prescribe a fixed set of practices to all. He preferred each sadhaka to find his own path to the Divine. As for relation to Patanjali’s classic 8 limb path, Sri Aurobindo used to say that his Yoga begins where others end. For complete explanation please refer to his Synthesis of Yoga book.
