Yup that's the answer! When I worked in Switzerland as a carer for an adult with severe autism, I would get "respectfully" flirted with in public, but never ever catcalled. I would drop him off and get catcalled all the way home.

I love you guys so much. I can see so much genuine love between you and it inspires me so much in my own relationship. I have struggled with my weight for years and feel disabled because of it for so many reasons. I’m 240 lbs and lose my breath going up the stairs, have sore knees constantly and just feel unattractive but I met a man who in my opinion is the sexiest man alive and could have any woman he wants yet he wants me! At first I thought it was just about my kindness, creativity and how I treated him which is important and yes he does love me for those reasons, just as I don’t just love him because of his looks, he loves me for more than my personality as well. He has struggled so hard to show me that he finds me sexy but I had a hard time believing him. Watching your videos helped me see that true love is unexplainable. It’s something unique to each couple and those who can see beyond each other’s weaknesses whether physical, mental or emotional and see the true beauty within each other, are the ones who last forever. My now fiance’s patents have been together about 50 years and his mom takes care of his dad and looks at him like Hannah does Shane. I think that is beautiful and want the same for me and my soulmate for the rest of our lives. Keep shining your light on the world. You are one of the fortunate couples who will last a lifetime ❤️

First of all, you guys are awesome. I think flirting/catcalling is something that very much happens 'in the moment' and so when you guys are together there's probably more thought directed towards trying to figure out what you guys are to each other which takes up that moment. It's because he's a man! I've found that men don't catcall women who are out with another man. I think it's because catcalling is behavior they subconsciously realize is disrespectful so they have no problem displaying it in front of women, people they subconsciously and/or consciously deem as less deserving of respect than men. When I'm with guy friends I never get catcalled, whether we look like a couple or not. When I'm out with my girl friends I will still get catcalled. It's infuriating.
I think that most men will not cat call when there is another man present because they know it's disrespectful and that the man might start a fight with them if they cat call. I think it has to due with risk more than it has to do with respect. Cat calling is horrible behavior but they do it because they think they can get away with it, if there is a chance for reprocussions then they usually won't.

Well guys. I can say I can help a bit in this area. I had my son at 14 years old now he's 20 and when we are together people think his my brother and I'm his sister or friend. So i get catcall at times in front of my son. So this is what he did one day. I got catcall walking with him one day and he said "Respect her she's my mother and she has a fiance." TMI ( That only work a couple of times but put hem in there spot). What I'm trying to say is Shane you got to speak up and say "I'm sorry to tell you man she's my girlfriend or Hanna you could speak up and say excuse me this is my boyfriend right here respect that. 😉

Now there is no tolerance for harassment or profanity. That is not cool in my book. But a "catcall" done tastefully could be sort of a compliment. Moreover, if your son put men on the spot as you say and call them out-they may feel embarrassed, awkward if they have a good conscience and did not mean any harm or harassment. These men may beat themselves up for saying anything to you in the first place. Then they won't do it anymore.

I never minded being cat-called. Those days are largely behind me now, but I didn’t dress proactively or otherwise encourage it. And I don’t recall anyone ever being vulgar about it. I never felt threatened, and I knew my intrinsic value was more than what could be seen through the eyes of a stranger. Regardless, please don’t assume it offends everyone, because it doesn’t. Is it poor manners? Perhaps. But it’s survivable.

I love you guys so much. I can see so much genuine love between you and it inspires me so much in my own relationship.
I have struggled with my weight for years and feel disabled because of it for so many reasons. I’m 240 lbs and lose my breath going up the stairs, have sore knees constantly and just feel unattractive but I met a man who in my opinion is the sexiest man alive and could have any woman he wants yet he wants me! At first I thought it was just about my kindness, creativity and how I treated him which is important and yes he does love me for those reasons, just as I don’t just love him because of his looks, he loves me for more than my personality as well. He has struggled so hard to show me that he finds me sexy but I had a hard time believing him.
Watching your videos helped me see that true love is unexplainable. It’s something unique to each couple and those who can see beyond each other’s weaknesses whether physical, mental or emotional and see the true beauty within each other, are the ones who last forever.
My now fiance’s patents have been together about 50 years and his mom takes care of his dad and looks at him like Hannah does Shane. I think that is beautiful and want the same for me and my soulmate for the rest of our lives. Keep shining your light on the world. You are one of the fortunate couples who will last a lifetime ❤️

It's because he's a man! I've found that men don't catcall women who are out with another man. I think it's because catcalling is behavior they subconsciously realize is disrespectful so they have no problem displaying it in front of women, people they subconsciously and/or consciously deem as less deserving of respect than men.
When I'm with guy friends I never get catcalled, whether we look like a couple or not. When I'm out with my girl friends I will still get catcalled. It's infuriating.

I think that most men will not cat call when there is another man present because they know it's disrespectful and that the man might start a fight with them if they cat call. I think it has to due with risk more than it has to do with respect. So i get catcall at times in front of my son. So this is what he did one day.
I got catcall walking with him one day and he said

Now there is no tolerance for harassment or profanity. That is not cool in my book. But a "catcall" done tastefully could be sort of a compliment.
