- This video shares our recent trip into the Cotswolds, staying at Cotswold View camp site. Whilst we stayed we attended a fantastic outdoor cinema, kindly put on by the Old Shed and we had a fab time. We really want to re-visit this site as there is plenty more to do whilst staying here.

Looks lovely - one for the list for next year as I love the idea of an outdoors movie night and the onsite cafe looks great! Caravan holidays are all about the big breakfasts!
Dan I do so much look forward to your Blogs and this one was no exception first rate please do lots more on your travels.
Great video guys, Cotswold View is one of our favourite sites we've been going there with friends couple of times a year for the last 10 years of so. Charlbury village just a short walk down the hill is a lovely place.

Looks like a great site Dan. We were looking for a site down in that area for an upcoming trip, CAMC sites are our normal go to, but they came it at nearly double the price of this one. Your video of this site came at just the right time ..... BOOKED !!!

Hi Dan, glad to see you have acquired a decent Tow Car, brilliant I had mine for 7 years and did 72,000miles, so sorry to let it go at 145,000 miles , the BEST tow vehicle , Enjoy
Dan we use mainly CL’s and on the odd occasion we have our own tap. My water hook up kit is always in the van. We use a lot of off grid sites but I still carry hook up cables. It’s better to have them and not need them than want them and not have them.

We live 10 mins from there and often pop in for breakfast........shame we missed you. We're off with our caravan ( Doris) for a short break on Thursday, staying at a site nr Chepstow. Glad you enjoyed it. Steve n Jeanette

I like the idea of the outdoor cinema. Looks great fun. BTW I'm very guilty of not reading anything that isn't in bold, so if it said "it's a service pitch" in just plain text, not bold, I might well have missed it...
Excellent video. We have stayed at Cotswold View several times and its an excellent site. Did you know in the middle of Chipping Norton is a famous building? Turn down New St, the A44 and on your left 100yards down is a Dental Surgery. In a previous life it was a recording studio which hosting some of the most famous names in the music industry. The hit "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty was recorded there and there is a blue plaque on the outside of the building.
Oh I never knew that. Will have to hunt it down next time we are there. 👍
@@TheTrudgians I think there is an article on the internet about it Dan, some really famous bands recorded there in the most unlikely of locations.
I just pictured you and your wife arguing with each other in the car about who’s fault it was 😂😂😂 and the fact in this video she’s prob sat next to you making sure you admit it on camera 🔫🤦♂️ great video as usual.
Trouble we found with non caravan and motorhome club sites where there seems to be little to no rules.
Tewkesbury about 10 mins from us, we’ve never stayed there as it was always getting flooded
Great site, stayed there literally last weekend, defo need longer than weekend, bonus delicious pizza !

The 9th September is the start of the Tour of Great Britain in Tewkesbury finishing in Gloucester docks so it will be busy the route via the Cotswolds , Cirencester, Tetbury to Yate and back to Gloucester via Stroud
It starts on Sunday 3rd not Sat 9th
We live in Blackpool and our favourite place is Tudor in slimbridge not far from your favourite place would recommend a visit
Once again a lovely video, im wondering, we are in the market for a english caravan, a sprite cruzer 550 or 635 SR. And i noticed that you have kids, how do you manage that in the caravan with sleeping? Are they sleeping on the couch? Im from the netherlands, can u give me some insight how you manage that with a family without bunkbeds??

We still have him. He’s currently asleep on my feet. He stays home to keep Chloe company. He will be with us again soon.
