So strange all of this ! I follow quite a few people on UA-cam , and this year and last quite a few of these people are having very very similar health issues ? What on earth could be the link I wonder to these seemingly fit healthy guys and gals going through this trauma ?? This is the 5 th I know of !

Hi Keith and Michele, Well what a video that was!! So sorry to hear of your ordeal over the past 6 months. I did wonder, like many of us, why suddenly you had gone quiet on the video front, and was worried it could be something serious, as you'd not said you intended to take a break from this. Anyway, sounds like you're properly back on the road, which is fantastic news. Thank you for sharing with us all. Very pleased to hear it looks like you're going back to caravanning. Personally, I was surprised when you announced the change to the motorhome, especially as you were used to such a lovely big caravan with separate bedroom and large bathroom. Like you said, Motorhoming is quite different and very expensive, so I think you'll soon get back into the caravan lifestyle, especially as you've explored other holidays and recognised what you don't like. Can't wait to see the next video... In the meantime, keep well and Happy New Year!

Ohhh so sorry Keith and Michele to hear about Keith's heart attack, how frightening that must that of been, we're so glad your ok and recovering. My dad had a heart attack way back in the 80's and had a pacemaker fitted and was told not to go near the microwave because of the radio waves it gives out, we found this quite funny. if it wasn't for you we wouldn't of bought a caravan!! Anyway its really good to see you're back and we look forward on seeing your upcoming videos.

Oh sorry to hear about the health, what a worry but glad you are both ok, i guess hard at times not be thinking the, what if's. I stopped watching you when you changed to Motor home. I bought my Sprite 4 SB new back in early 2020, first year away once for 7 nights, 2021 away once 9 nights, 2022 4 nights, came home early due to health. 2023, never used the van at all. Being alone and health issues its not very easy. Considering selling but then again would be nice to use it more. Maybe now you are going back to a caravan and blogging, you may just inspire me to use my caravan more. I found your video's very helpful. Glad i saw this video, look after yourselves and the odd sweetie is fine 😉 moderation eh. Best wishes guys😘
Hi Keith and Michelle, exactly the same happened to me in Oct 23, only feeling sick, ECG show okay, but blood test showed heart attack, same as you 2 stents fitted, but on different operations, how are you feeling ? I'm not back to normal after 2.5 months were you ? So glad you are still with us, and going back to caravans again, I didn't unscribe when you moved to Motorhomes, but have seen this before, as its not the same type of holidays

I don't know if you know CaravanVlogger from UA-cam, he also sold the caravan, and bought a Motorhome, but went back to a caravan again, it seems to me that it works, if you are moving every day, and don't go out and about when parked up

Crikey . Virtuall ditto , 5 years ago we had a swift challenger 2 berth our pride a joy , went to reighton sands in Filey to do some bird photography , pitched up and six hours later I had really bad indigestion and chest pains , wife called for a ambulance and they confirmed heart failure got rushed into hull heart hospital 50 miles away .. straight into the operating theatre and stent fitted .. after being allowed out we had to get car and caravan back to wales ( another story) as I couldn’t drive for 4 weeks. The wife then gave up and sold the caravan due to worry .move on a couple of years and the daughter talked us in to camping so we bought a huge air tent lovely thing but to heavy for a pair of pensioners . Last year in June we were away in it and it was freezing cold so we sat having dinner looked at one another and went CARAVAN . Spotted one in Yorkshire and fell in love with it bought it on the spot a used swift conquerer 2 berth ,coming up for our third holiday in 3 weeks back to Yorkshire for the birds on bempton cliffs ❤

Wow Keith that is terrible. I developed sepsis November 2018 and died but our amazing NHS got me back. It took over 2 years to get back to normal-ish the sepsis caused a lot of damage I also developed PTDS it came from the out of body, death dream what ever it is. Very very relaxing which is an odd feeling but something was not right so I starting shouting at myself to walk up, so need that sorting. I can understand how scared you both were? Be kind to yourself and my advice is get help for your mental health it really does help. It is odd having a second chance isn’t it you look at things so differently. I love adore my wife I’m so lucky, I just couldn’t stop looking at her, realising how lucky I was to still be here. Trees birds grass smells OMG smells. I wish you both health and happiness. When it comes to processed food OMG yes it is terrible for you. I have colitis and I tried a product called Yfood and I have just left hospital after a flare my doctor said Yfood it’s very heavily processed and it’s probably that but landed you in hospital. I’m quite lucky my wife cooks most of our own sources but avoiding process food is very difficult. Be happy and I wish you a lot of healthy years to come. James

Keith looked in many past vlogs to be in great health so don't blame your habits so quickly! Many people since Covid are falling fowl of heart issues, which possibly is a legacy from rushed vaccines.

Just watched your pre video so whats gone . So catching up now the weird thing is my wife had a heart attack in September at 60 believe you me i know what you have gone through😢. So like you shes got loads of pills to pop now. I think i remember you showing us your treat draw before. My wife was very good on the eating front before so who knows why. Understand the recuperation process.. so how much did your travel insurance go up !!

Hope you’re feeling better. I had a heart attack. I was given an ecg at home and another in the ambulance. Both came back ok. Had a blood test at Hospital. That’s when they found out I’d had a heart attack.
Ok so - wow!! Thank the Lord you were ok Keith. Sounded an absolutely horrendous experience! And for Michelle too. But the huge good news is that you both have a lifestyle change which should see you on for a good few years yet. I was watching this thinking, I know that I need to change too. Rubbish diet and not enough exercise. I am trying (as everyone does), to live better. We did in the end buy a Motorhome -(cheers for the storage advice Keith) and we’re loving it. So we both really hope that whatever you’re going to be doing is right for you 👍👍👍 And maybe we will see you on the road in the future (or wave over the storage fence) 😃 Phew - that was a heavy but inspiring video you two. Very happy that you were able to make it 👍👍🎉🎉

Don’t touch alcohol either Thank God you are ok. Both of you take care of yourselves. My husband and I have both had stents fitted. We had to give up Caravanning because my heart is damaged and I can’t walk to far, I get out of breath easily, We miss our Caravan but due to health issues and being in our 70s I wanted to go Caravanning again but Hubby says no! He is right. All the best is wished for both of you ❤❤❤
My dad had his first heart attack at the age of 35 which is when we moved from London to the Isle of Wight, he went on to have several internal defib/pacemakers fitted and lived into his 91’st year, he passed away in March due to dementia related problems, he lived a very full life as will Keith love to you both ❤️

Glad you recovered. I had 7 arterial heart grafts 9 years ago and now feel as fit as a buck rat. Our NHS staff are brilliant despite the intolerable pressure they are under. We can look forward to better times to come for the NHS and hospital care in 2024.

Thank you for sharing your story. It will encourage anyone experiencing pain in the chest or back to call an ambulance. It's a mistake to go to A&E with these symptoms because there is a risk you will be kept waiting. Paramedics are able to use diagnostic machines that can confirm you are having a heart attack and will blue light you to the hospital. You may still have to wait but whilst you are waiting you will be in the ambulance being monitored. Looking forward to your return. Your experience of motorhoming is exactly the same as ours. They are very expensive to buy, run and store and also can be restricting as to when and where you can go whilst using them.

As someone who has been through the same thing, I was treated badly told it was anxiety, stress until one member of staff a lovely nurse from Africa called Jennifer did a test for troponin, then attitudes changed. I’ve only just watched this. I was in tears. Several years ago it happened to my husband, aged 47. Like Keith, we had no idea he was having a heart attack because we expected it to be like in the movies - pain in the arm and clutching of the chest. Again, like Keith, he likened it to a heavy weight, as if an elephant was sitting on his chest. We didn’t call for an ambulance either because well they are just for emergencies aren’t they and we didn’t want to waste their time?! 🙄 I took him to the GP who called for an ambulance. The paramedics then called for an air ambulance because they needed to operate quickly. So Michele, when you were reliving it, I was reliving it with you. Again, like Keith he needed 2 stents. Sadly it did damage his heart so he wasn’t as lucky in that respect but he survived and we will forever be in debt to the NHS. It changes you completely. Our outlook on life has changed. Life is not a dress rehearsal. He works part time now and we are buying our first Motorhome next month. One thing that has changed is he gets so emotional now and when Keith started welling up, I wondered if it’s a common thing after a heart attack. Wishing you both a healthy future xx

So sorry to hear what happened but glad your on the road to recovery. I had very similar in may 2020 during lockdown, just felt odd took the dog out for a walk and didnt get 200 yards and felt terrible,just managed to get home {luckily my darling wife was there} and just collapsed. at the age of only 49. Had the best treatment at the Royal Papworth hospital and thanks to them i am now feeling better than ever, still caravaning and enjoying it more than ever. I had a similar incident and the A&E department took blood , xray taken of my heart the bloods indicated a heart attack unfortunately my heart was damaged but 31 years later still this side of the turf Obviously

I don’t know you from Adam, but both my parents in law have had heart attacks. Both survived but with serious damage. They get by, but they’re not the same as they used to be. You are so lucky and I’m so chuffed for you. Life is for living so really enjoy yourselves. Thank-you for sharing your experiences it’s a real pleasure watching. ❤️❤️

Hi Recently found your channel and great content. Like you we went from caravan to Motorhomes then campervan. All was well until last summer when we wanted to use P&R in Portsmouth and Salisbury only to find height barriers 😡😡. That showed Britain does not want to cater for ‘us types’ so we opted to go back to a caravan. Seems to be less stress but this summer will tell. Happy travels.

We used to be subscriber’s when you had the caravan. Then randomly last week this vlog came up on my feed. We were so shocked to hear what has happened to Keith and upset to see the obvious emotional effect on Michelle. Glad to see all is on the way up now, never knew back pain / vomiting was a symptom of heart trouble. Best wishes for your future health. Incidentally we are subscribers again 👍🏻

So glad your now well on the road to recovery. We love watching your adventures caravanning😊 Many years ago we had started caravanning and then changed to a VW campervan which was good but..had it's drawbacks. So we had break from campervans and caravans etc and decided after a long absence from them to purchase another caravan in 2018 just to see if it suited. I'm happy to say it did and we upgraded it again in 2021. We had no regrets with the campervan but we prefer caravans. Happy caravanning both. Best Wishes Linda and Glenn 🙂

I wonder what happened not seeing your vlogs I know where you coming from Michele my husband had a heart attack I nearly lost my husband they had to revive him 3times and he had a stenth put in that was nearly 4years ago now I still worry especially when he rubs his chest now and then I start worrying so glad you are going back to a caravan bless you both hopefully see you soon take care

We came to the conclusion about large motorhomes very early. If we went anywhere you could see people who you saw on camp sites, with motorhomes, at bus stops, etc, basically anchored to the camp site. Although they look very appealing, easy to set up etc. we could see that they were logistically flawed. Even re-filling your water, or emptying your waste water you have to move the motorhome, whereas a caravan or a campervan you just fill an aqua roll or container up itself and empty a waste master. As far as other accommodation or holidays, a change is as good as a rest, particularly in the winter, where we go to Benidorm or Highland Lodge cabins in Scotland, hotels etc. never say never. There are times when they are the best option, when a long dark 16 hour night in December or January, trapped in a campervan or caravan might not be the best option or you just fancy a bit of heat and sun, particularly the older you get, when you feel the cold more.

Wow. So glad that you have managed to survive all of that! The NHS is brilliant with urgent cases but not so good with the non urgent stuff. I talk from recent experience of both. My wife and I still feel tearful now so don’t worry about that😊 What will become of the secret cupboard? Sounds like you have had great support, now is time to really take stock and make the most of life. Come back to the dark side and get another caravan. Just looking not going to buy LOL we did the same last August and we walked out with buying a brand new Swift Challenger Hi Style 650l, So happy to hear your getting back on the mend and also that we too have had to change our lifestyle. Me with the crisps and biscuits along with the sweets and my wife who broke both her arms has our Golden Retriever pulled her and she fell braking those two arms, but it has made her decide after spending 10 days in hospital that she has stopped drinking and smoking as she did like a drink and the hospital advised her to stop because of the liver damage. Sorry to hear about your heart attack, but your looking good now, last March I broke my Tibia and Fibula, 28 weeks in plaster then full knee replacement and bone grafting, didn't think I would be able to drive a manual car, or our motor home, so we have gone back to a caravan, the wife didn't like being stuck at places without transport like you said, all the best for the future, look forward to seeing your adventures. 👍😁

O Keith & Michelle, i did wonder like many i would imagine what had happened but fully understand now. Cant believe what has happened to you & glad you have come through it with the best outcome. Its really annoying though that you almost have to die before anything is done about your urgent situation being fobbed off until that Doctor realised it was serious. Good on him seems you owe your life to him & glad he was on duty & realised. So yes all the best for your future now & yes bit of a wake up call too, i am 61 & to be honest probably very much like you before it happened to yes i need to look at my diet i think as well. Re your motorhome I am so pleased you are returning back to caravanning, i did think at the time when you changed that was it the right decision but we all sometimes need a change. I couldnt change for the reasons you mentioned as ive been caravanning 33 years in May & just couldnt be without my car whilst away & just love the space in my caravan especially having a twin axle like you used to. Anyway enough said from me I will look forward to seeing what caravan you choose & will look forward to future vlogs again. You ought to consider venturing to France too such lovely places to explore, we were down in Annecy in June with our van & o my god the scenery in the Alps is just stunning so many beautiful places . I retired at 53 and haven’t looked back, but I was lucky as I had planned for many years for that moment. Now 7 years on, I still have my health, my wife too retired and we travel as much as we can. It’s a very scary experience, I know, I’ve been there, I was 51 at the time. That was nearly 21 years ago. With life style changes and medication, you will adjust and still enjoy life. I still caravan and enjoy our lives. I wish you all the best and live life to the full.
Hiya - sounds familiar - retired at 56 first heart attack 59, 3 stents. Second at 63, one stent - then bought a caravan! - couple of years ago, blocked carotid artery so that opened up and cleaned out - apparently I’m predisposed to artery blocking. Fortunately for me I live in France so the medical services are incredible - at 68, still chopping wood cutting trees - away 6 out of 12 months in the van all over Europe since buying - feel fine. Feel free to direct contact me for more of my experiences/advice, I’ve researched all this to death (spoiler, even the experts know and understand very little) Do eat better, do a bit of exercise and do track and understand your own body - great to see you back from the motorhome dark side and look forward to more vids.

I had a massive heart attack 12 years ago. Triple bypass now I’ve got a pacemaker and fibrillator and I’m doing well so hope you get better and I hope you should be ok

Aw,, I’m so sorry to hear about your recent health scare but thank god you came out of the other side. I’ve only recently started following you two, but will continue from now on. I’m thinking of buying a caravan now, was thinking of a motor home but decided on a caravan. I have to go to Turkey for around a month in May, but after that, will look for a caravan. So strange all of this ! I follow quite a few people on UA-cam , and this year and last quite a few of these people are having very very similar health issues ? What on earth could be the link I wonder to these seemingly fit healthy guys and gals going through this trauma ?? This is the 5 th I know of !

I did wonder, like many of us, why suddenly you had gone quiet on the video front, and was worried it could be something serious, as you'd not said you intended to take a break from this. Very pleased to hear it looks like you're going back to caravanning. Personally, I was surprised when you announced the change to the motorhome, especially as you were used to such a lovely big caravan with separate bedroom and large bathroom. Like you said, Motorhoming is quite different and very expensive, so I think you'll soon get back into the caravan lifestyle, especially as you've explored other holidays and recognised what you don't like. Can't wait to see the next video...

Ohhh so sorry Keith and Michele to hear about Keith's heart attack, how frightening that must that of been, we're so glad your ok and recovering. My dad had a heart attack way back in the 80's and had a pacemaker fitted and was told not to go near the microwave because of the radio waves it gives out, we found this quite funny. if it wasn't for you we wouldn't of bought a caravan!! Anyway its really good to see you're back and we look forward on seeing your upcoming videos.

Oh sorry to hear about the health, what a worry but glad you are both ok, i guess hard at times not be thinking the, what if's. I stopped watching you when you changed to Motor home. I bought my Sprite 4 SB new back in early 2020, first year away once for 7 nights, 2021 away once 9 nights, 2022 4 nights, came home early due to health. 2023, never used the van at all. Being alone and health issues its not very easy. Considering selling but then again would be nice to use it more. Maybe now you are going back to a caravan and blogging, you may just inspire me to use my caravan more. I found your video's very helpful. Glad i saw this video, look after yourselves and the odd sweetie is fine 😉 moderation eh. Best wishes guys😘
Hi Keith and Michelle, exactly the same happened to me in Oct 23, only feeling sick, ECG show okay, but blood test showed heart attack, same as you 2 stents fitted, but on different operations, how are you feeling ? I'm not back to normal after 2.5 months were you ?
So glad you are still with us, and going back to caravans again, I didn't unscribe when you moved to Motorhomes, but have seen this before, as its not the same type of holidays

I don't know if you know CaravanVlogger from UA-cam, he also sold the caravan, and bought a Motorhome, but went back to a caravan again, it seems to me that it works, if you are moving every day, and don't go out and about when parked up

Crikey . Virtuall ditto , 5 years ago we had a swift challenger 2 berth our pride a joy , went to reighton sands in Filey to do some bird photography , pitched up and six hours later I had really bad indigestion and chest pains , wife called for a ambulance and they confirmed heart failure got rushed into hull heart hospital 50 miles away .. straight into the operating theatre and stent fitted .. after being allowed out we had to get car and caravan back to wales ( another story) as I couldn’t drive for 4 weeks. The wife then gave up and sold the caravan due to worry .move on a couple of years and the daughter talked us in to camping so we bought a huge air tent lovely thing but to heavy for a pair of pensioners . Last year in June we were away in it and it was freezing cold so we sat having dinner looked at one another and went CARAVAN . Spotted one in Yorkshire and fell in love with it bought it on the spot a used swift conquerer 2 berth ,coming up for our third holiday in 3 weeks back to Yorkshire for the birds on bempton cliffs ❤

Wow Keith that is terrible. I developed sepsis November 2018 and died but our amazing NHS got me back. It took over 2 years to get back to normal-ish the sepsis caused a lot of damage I also developed PTDS it came from the out of body, death dream what ever it is. Very very relaxing which is an odd feeling but something was not right so I starting shouting at myself to walk up, so need that sorting. I can understand how scared you both were?
Be kind to yourself and my advice is get help for your mental health it really does help.
It is odd having a second chance isn’t it you look at things so differently. I love adore my wife I’m so lucky, I just couldn’t stop looking at her, realising how lucky I was to still be here. Trees birds grass smells OMG smells. I wish you both health and happiness.
When it comes to processed food OMG yes it is terrible for you. I have colitis and I tried a product called Yfood and I have just left hospital after a flare my doctor said Yfood it’s very heavily processed and it’s probably that but landed you in hospital. I’m quite lucky my wife cooks most of our own sources but avoiding process food is very difficult.

Keith looked in many past vlogs to be in great health so don't blame your habits so quickly! Many people since Covid are falling fowl of heart issues, which possibly is a legacy from rushed vaccines.

Just watched your pre video so whats gone . So catching up now the weird thing is my wife had a heart attack in September at 60 believe you me i know what you have gone through😢. So like you shes got loads of pills to pop now. I think i remember you showing us your treat draw before. My wife was very good on the eating front before so who knows why. Understand the recuperation process.. so how much did your travel insurance go up !!

Hope you’re feeling better. I had a heart attack. I was given an ecg at home and another in the ambulance. Both came back ok. Had a blood test at Hospital. That’s when they found out I’d had a heart attack.

Ok so - wow!! Thank the Lord you were ok Keith. Sounded an absolutely horrendous experience! And for Michelle too.
But the huge good news is that you both have a lifestyle change which should see you on for a good few years yet.
I was watching this thinking, I know that I need to change too. Rubbish diet and not enough exercise. I am trying (as everyone does), to live better.
We did in the end buy a Motorhome -(cheers for the storage advice Keith) and we’re loving it.
So we both really hope that whatever you’re going to be doing is right for you 👍👍👍
And maybe we will see you on the road in the future (or wave over the storage fence) 😃

Oh sorry to hear about the health, what a worry but glad you are both ok, i guess hard at times not be thinking the, what if's. I stopped watching you when you changed to Motor home. I bought my Sprite 4 SB new back in early 2020, first year away once for 7 nights, 2021 away once 9 nights, 2022, nights, came home early due to heath. 2023, never used the van at all. Being alone and health issues its not very easy. Considering selling but then again would be nice to use it more. Maybe now you are going back to a caravan and blogging, you may just inspire me to use my caravan more. I found your video's very helpful. Glad i saw this video, look after yourselves and the odd sweetie is fine 😉 moderation eh. Best wishes guys😘

Don’t touch alcohol either Thank God you are ok. Both of you take care of yourselves. My husband and I have both had stents fitted. We had to give up Caravanning because my heart is damaged and I can’t walk to far, I get out of breath easily, We miss our Caravan but due to health issues and being in our 70s I wanted to go Caravanning again but Hubby says no! He is right. All the best is wished for both of you ❤❤❤
My dad had his first heart attack at the age of 35 which is when we moved from London to the Isle of Wight, he went on to have several internal defib/pacemakers fitted and lived into his 91’st year, he passed away in March due to dementia related problems, he lived a very full life as will Keith love to you both ❤️

Glad you recovered. I had 7 arterial heart grafts 9 years ago and now feel as fit as a buck rat. Our NHS staff are brilliant despite the intolerable pressure they are under. We can look forward to better times to come for the NHS and hospital care in 2024.

Thank you for sharing your story. It will encourage anyone experiencing pain in the chest or back to call an ambulance. It's a mistake to go to A&E with these symptoms because there is a risk you will be kept waiting. Paramedics are able to use diagnostic machines that can confirm you are having a heart attack and will blue light you to the hospital. You may still have to wait but whilst you are waiting you will be in the ambulance being monitored. Looking forward to your return. Your experience of motorhoming is exactly the same as ours. They are very expensive to buy, run and store and also can be restricting as to when and where you can go whilst using them.

As someone who has been through the same thing, I was treated badly told it was anxiety, stress until one member of staff a lovely nurse from Africa called Jennifer did a test for troponin, then attitudes changed. I’ve only just watched this. I was in tears. Several years ago it happened to my husband, aged 47. Like Keith, we had no idea he was having a heart attack because we expected it to be like in the movies - pain in the arm and clutching of the chest. Again, like Keith, he likened it to a heavy weight, as if an elephant was sitting on his chest. We didn’t call for an ambulance either because well they are just for emergencies aren’t they and we didn’t want to waste their time?! 🙄 I took him to the GP who called for an ambulance. The paramedics then called for an air ambulance because they needed to operate quickly. So Michele, when you were reliving it, I was reliving it with you. Again, like Keith he needed 2 stents. Sadly it did damage his heart so he wasn’t as lucky in that respect but he survived and we will forever be in debt to the NHS. It changes you completely. Our outlook on life has changed. Life is not a dress rehearsal. He works part time now and we are buying our first Motorhome next month. One thing that has changed is he gets so emotional now and when Keith started welling up, I wondered if it’s a common thing after a heart attack. Wishing you both a healthy future xx

So sorry to hear what happened but glad your on the road to recovery.
I had very similar in may 2020 during lockdown, just felt odd took the dog out for a walk and didnt get 200 yards and felt terrible,just managed to get home {luckily my darling wife was there} and just collapsed. at the age of only 49.
Had the best treatment at the Royal Papworth hospital and thanks to them i am now feeling better than ever, still caravaning and enjoying it more than ever.
Nice to see you have come back to caravaning, enjoy what you have especialy your lovely wife

I had a similar incident and the A&E department took blood , xray taken of my heart the bloods indicated a heart attack unfortunately my heart was damaged but 31 years later still this side of the turf Obviously

I don’t know you from Adam, but both my parents in law have had heart attacks. Both survived but with serious damage. They get by, but they’re not the same as they used to be. Recently found your channel and great content.
Like you we went from caravan to Motorhomes then campervan. All was well until last summer when we wanted to use P&R in Portsmouth and Salisbury only to find height barriers 😡😡. That showed Britain does not want to cater for ‘us types’ so we opted to go back to a caravan. Seems to be less stress but this summer will tell. Happy travels.

We used to be subscriber’s when you had the caravan. Then randomly last week this vlog came up on my feed. We were so shocked to hear what has happened to Keith and upset to see the obvious emotional effect on Michelle. Many years ago we had started caravanning and then changed to a VW campervan which was good but..had it's drawbacks. So we had break from campervans and caravans etc and decided after a long absence from them to purchase another caravan in 2018 just to see if it suited. I'm happy to say it did and we upgraded it again in 2021.
We had no regrets with the campervan but we prefer caravans.

I wonder what happened not seeing your vlogs I know where you coming from Michele my husband had a heart attack I nearly lost my husband they had to revive him 3times and he had a stenth put in that was nearly 4years ago now I still worry especially when he rubs his chest now and then I start worrying so glad you are going back to a caravan bless you both hopefully see you soon take care

We came to the conclusion about large motorhomes very early. If we went anywhere you could see people who you saw on camp sites, with motorhomes, at bus stops, etc, basically anchored to the camp site. Although they look very appealing, easy to set up etc. we could see that they were logistically flawed. Even re-filling your water, or emptying your waste water you have to move the motorhome, whereas a caravan or a campervan you just fill an aqua roll or container up itself and empty a waste master. As far as other accommodation or holidays, a change is as good as a rest, particularly in the winter, where we go to Benidorm or Highland Lodge cabins in Scotland, hotels etc. never say never. There are times when they are the best option, when a long dark 16 hour night in December or January, trapped in a campervan or caravan might not be the best option or you just fancy a bit of heat and sun, particularly the older you get, when you feel the cold more.

Wow. So glad that you have managed to survive all of that! The NHS is brilliant with urgent cases but not so good with the non urgent stuff. I talk from recent experience of both. My wife and I still feel tearful now so don’t worry about that😊

Just looking not going to buy LOL we did the same last August and we walked out with buying a brand new Swift Challenger Hi Style 650l, So happy to hear your getting back on the mend and also that we too have had to change our lifestyle. Me with the crisps and biscuits along with the sweets and my wife who broke both her arms has our Golden Retriever pulled her and she fell braking those two arms, but it has made her decide after spending 10 days in hospital that she has stopped drinking and smoking as she did like a drink and the hospital advised her to stop because of the liver damage. Sorry to hear about your heart attack, but your looking good now, last March I broke my Tibia and Fibula, 28 weeks in plaster then full knee replacement and bone grafting, didn't think I would be able to drive a manual car, or our motor home, so we have gone back to a caravan, the wife didn't like being stuck at places without transport like you said, all the best for the future, look forward to seeing your adventures. 👍😁

O Keith & Michelle, i did wonder like many i would imagine what had happened but fully understand now. Cant believe what has happened to you & glad you have come through it with the best outcome. Its really annoying though that you almost have to die before anything is done about your urgent situation being fobbed off until that Doctor realised it was serious. Good on him seems you owe your life to him & glad he was on duty & realised. So yes all the best for your future now & yes bit of a wake up call too, i am 61 & to be honest probably very much like you before it happened to yes i need to look at my diet i think as well. Re your motorhome I am so pleased you are returning back to caravanning, i did think at the time when you changed that was it the right decision but we all sometimes need a change. I couldnt change for the reasons you mentioned as ive been caravanning 33 years in May & just couldnt be without my car whilst away & just love the space in my caravan especially having a twin axle like you used to. Anyway enough said from me I will look forward to seeing what caravan you choose & will look forward to future vlogs again. You ought to consider venturing to France too such lovely places to explore, we were down in Annecy in June with our van & o my god the scenery in the Alps is just stunning so many beautiful places . So pleased for you both that Keith has made a full recovery did wonder where you were thought that perhaps you’d simply had enough of UA-cam !
I could not believe the timing of your Vlog for us as my wife and i sold our Motorhome just 2 hours ago and bought a brand new caravan … all for the same reasons as yourselves including a health issue of mine …. Not as serious as you but another factor that reinforced our decision… so it’s back to a caravan for us and we are really excited as well.

Bit of a shock that....but so pleased you are on the mend, bit of a reality check as well.
Like so many others, you were inspirational, post covid when we bought our first caravan, simple but great tips, from loading correctly through set ups.
So glad you are back caravanning, don't know why, but I was never convinced about your MH days.

Your video is so touching and shows that we shouldn’t take everything for granted, make memories whilst you are still well enough. I retired at 53 and haven’t looked back, but I was lucky as I had planned for many years for that moment. Now 7 years on, I still have my health, my wife too retired and we travel as much as we can. Will look out for future vlogs!

It’s a very scary experience, I know, I’ve been there, I was 51 at the time. That was nearly 21 years ago. With life style changes and medication, you will adjust and still enjoy life. I still caravan and enjoy our lives. I wish you all the best and live life to the full.

Hiya - sounds familiar - retired at 56 first heart attack 59, 3 stents. Second at 63, one stent - then bought a caravan! - couple of years ago, blocked carotid artery so that opened up and cleaned out - apparently I’m predisposed to artery blocking. Fortunately for me I live in France so the medical services are incredible - at 68, still chopping wood cutting trees - away 6 out of 12 months in the van all over Europe since buying - feel fine. Feel free to direct contact me for more of my experiences/advice, I’ve researched all this to death (spoiler, even the experts know and understand very little) Do eat better, do a bit of exercise and do track and understand your own body - great to see you back from the motorhome dark side and look forward to more vids.

I had a massive heart attack 12 years ago. Triple bypass now I’ve got a pacemaker and fibrillator and I’m doing well so hope you get better and I hope you should be ok

Aw,, I’m so sorry to hear about your recent health scare but thank god you came out of the other side. I’ve only recently started following you two, but will continue from now on.
I’m thinking of buying a caravan now, was thinking of a motor home but decided on a caravan.
I have to go to Turkey for around a month in May, but after that, will look for a caravan.
