I can't believe how it has expanded and the facilities that they now offer. What a fantastic retreat. Obviously more money in the leisure industry than in farming. Looked a lovely site we worked in Cirencester for 10 month our aqua roll was all furred up with the lime in the Cotswold stone I don’t mind paying when the food is nice but £2.30 for a cup of tea goodness me

Hi I always stick to the speed limit while driving the Motorhome 👍 but I must agree the camera does make it look like it’s going faster for some reason 🤷♂️
It is a great site, and the food was a bit pricey but the quality was really good, I’d rather pay more and get quality than pay and but less and be inedible
Don't do it. You will be sorry in years to come. You can travel as much as you like as you have the motorhome and can only go to most of the continent for 3 months so you would be wandering around UK otherwise. At least you can chill out at home sometimes and meet up with friends there. Then when you decide to stop motorhoming or not do it so much you will have a home to go back to.

I have no problems paying the rate for a site with good facilities but I draw the line at paying through the nose to just keep the dust off someones grass. All depends on what the customer is willing to accept at the base level of services. For my own part, for £40 a night I would expect (at the minimum), unlimited/non metered hook up, free water fill and drain, cafe/restaurant, clean shower and toilet, level hard standing, kids/youths facilities (table tennis, ping pong, football), free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and a welcoming front desk. There, that’s my spleen vented for another month. 😉
