I’m 61. Haven’t done step in forever. This was a great first time video. I’m sweating. In the past year I lost 40 lbs. trying to get in shape and keep the weight off and get my heart going. Thank you!
I haven't done Step since the early 90s. I found a brand new step in its box at a garage sale a couple of years ago and bought it for $10! This is a great workout to get me back into the swing of things and bring back those Step Aerobic memories! Thank you!

Starting today I have been prescribed to do 30 minutes of aerobics daily. I came upon this video and I can’t believe how I struggled to get thru to the end but I did not give up. I will be back tomorrow and thank you it is a great step class especially if you have away for a long time.

I put the heat in the room higher so i can sweat and vry happy to find you. It's not to fast n we have enough time to learn the new steps that you keep adding. BRAVO!! NOW AM HOOK ON STEP AGAIN !! 🤩

I have never had to worry about my weight and all of a sudden I am 30 pounds heavier. Struggling with both physical and mental health problems I had done only occasional exercise for years. June 2020 was my new start exercising 2-3 times a week. I started with a bike ergometer and walk aerobics. Today I dared to come back to step for the first time, and this was so much fun. The slower speed is perfect for me, thank you!
I wasn't feeling like an hour this morning, so I did this with 2 risers, jump kicks and running up. GREAT cardio burn. Sometimes for Mrs. Clumsy basic is better with the higher intensity. Thanks for your kindness and generosity.
I was able to do this one. I haven’t done step aerobics in decades. I thought it was only 15 minutes, but I see that it was longer. I will alternate between this one and the 15 minute one until I get better. Thank you for the fun videos.
After successfully avoiding step for decades, I just got my own step this morning and did this into/basic step class. Only tripped on my step a few times, stumbled, lost my balance and the routine but found it all again with Chris' consistent and clear instructions. It wasn't pretty but who cares??? I did it!! Thanks, Chris, for doing what you do.

Hi, I’ve done this workout today with a riser on my step, I love how your basic workout routines are easy to follow but you can still get a good sweat going😅. These are great for me as I’m getting back into step after 25 years of other fitness activities but I always felt fitter when doing step, I’m now 60years old and feel that step is the best way for me to stay fit and healthy. That was great. I like that you mixed some basic with some of the fun intermediate moves like the step up tapout. I did this one today just on the floor and without my step and it was perfect and I still got sweaty from it. Thanks Chris for offering such an awesome variety of classes and levels for each class
Just finished this. I’ve got two left feet but was able to follow. I’m not good at step but this was perfect. Thank you! Did add one riser and a weighted vest. Fun Fun and Fun !

I knew that I wanted to work out this morning, but I wasn’t in the mood for something very lengthy or difficult. I used my risers and ran up on the step most of the time. This workout was perfect! Just what I needed today.

Great work out! Got out my 3rd riser finally and used weighted gloves. My joints thank you for giving me a solid workout that didn’t require jumping around!

Chris, I have be ill for a long time and I literally stumbled on this workout. I'm so glad that I did. While there are other step workouts online your workouts are so much fun. Your cueing is on point, the music is great and your energy and constant encouragement spurred me on when I thought I wouldn't be able to do the entire workout. Thank you so much for this. I walk 75 min a day on my treadmill, so I thought I was in pretty good shape. Then I had a doctor’s appt. one day, and I took the stairs. I was out of breath by the time I reached the third floor. So, I bought a step and searched for beginning step class on YT. I tried others, until I found you. Your vid was the best. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m having so much fun!

No lie, yours is the FIRST basic step I was able to follow and finish. Whew!! And this is from someone who has been doing Body Combat and Body Pump faithfully since 2012. But in the last 2-3 months, I just got sick of it and walked away from it. Today I decided to try Step again. Thank you for this great workout!!

Just perfect! Basic enough that I can follow and challenging enough that I don't get bored and the workout is over before I realize I worked up a pretty good sweat! Will keep working my way through this basic playlist over next couple of weeks. :)

Chris, I have be ill for a long time and I literally stumbled on this workout. I'm so glad that I did. While there are other step workouts online your workouts are so much fun. Your cueing is on point, the music is great and your energy and constant encouragement spurred me on when I thought I wouldn't be able to do the entire workout. Thank you so much for this. I walk 75 min a day on my treadmill, so I thought I was in pretty good shape. Then I had a doctor’s appt. one day, and I took the stairs. I was out of breath by the time I reached the third floor. So, I bought a step and searched for beginning step class on YT. I tried others, until I found you. Your vid was the best. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m having so much fun!

No lie, yours is the FIRST basic step I was able to follow and finish. Whew!! And this is from someone who has been doing Body Combat and Body Pump faithfully since 2012. But in the last 2-3 months, I just got sick of it and walked away from it. Today I decided to try Step again. Thank you for this great workout!!
