Absolutely LOVING it! I'm doing as advised and also adding in 1 or 2 strength training sessions. Gotta say, I'm 62, have been working out most of my life, but have never felt fitter or stronger and at the same time looked forward to and loved doing it so much as I have done since finding your channel! 💌
This is still one of my favourite step routines. It is just so easy to follow. Perfect for a Friday or when time is an issue. I still get amazing Fitbit stats from this workout. Thank you Chris. Couldn't get my mind motivated to do a 60 minute step workout this morning. This was perfect! You have such a variety of classes - something for everyone!
Had to get to an early doc appointment (more about this later!) and fit this in-sweaty mess and enjoyed seeing the sun in a dark blowy day! Went to my podiatrist bec my right foot had been swollen and hurting about 2 weeks now-I tripped over my step doing a glass! Anyway, X-ray showed arthritis significantly spread esp big toe joint. He and asked if I could move my big toe which I can-slowly! Impressed by my pain tolerance, he praised your workouts and two cortisone injections later, feeling better! Just wanted to share!! Working out keeps it all moving! Thx Chris!!💕💪🏻

I redid this workout today. Sunday is usually a slower paced workout for me. I did this with an 8lb vest. Well, major calorie burn. I really enjoy that your enthusiasm is the same regardless of the level of workout. Anyone intermediate or advanced, don’t be discouraged by the title of basic. You can make this very challenging!! 💙♥️

Loved this, as do struggle with any steps moves, although its' basic' it still gets the heart pumping and legs aching. Particularly loved the mix of Dua Lipa's We're Good then followed by Into The Groove. Love Dua and was a massive Madonna fan in the 80s. Thank you.
Forgot to add that I followed this with the kickboxing dance mash up, and that was brill. I turned 50 yesterday but don't feel it at all and this helped me feel younger!

Where I live in the UK in the Cotswolds we know the owner of the local restaurant, so they gave us a glass of champagne on the house yesterday. That was after 2 large bottles of beer and I don't normally drink.!

I found your channel fairly recently and have done a handful of your intermediate step classes and they are great! However, after too much wine last night I needed to sweat some toxins out. No revolving door as my head couldn't take them, needed a pace to ensure I wouldn't trip over my step. Picked this workout and it was perfect! Maybe a basic step workout is a key part of a cure for a mild hangover? 😄

Awesome cardio for when I’m time crunched! Just because it’s basic doesn’t mean it has to be easy. I throw a couple risers under the bench, add some hops into a few moves and after 30 minutes I’m sweaty and torched a ton of calories. Thank you!❤️

I have been following you since January and I have to tell you I got out of this, what I put in and it was awesome. Especially my arm work and posture. It was pretty great. Thank you. Trying to get my daughter to do my "MOM Work out" (how dare she). This one might be the one that gets her. Also, that last song was soooo good. Its one to get in the zone for sure. Tried to "Shazam" it but no song found. Any chance you know what it was? Main phrase was "Get busy"
Hey Cheryl! It is different for everyone. Nobody can tell you how many calories you will burn in a workout unless you have a fitness tracker and even those are not completely precise. Beware of clickbait saying you will burn a certain amount of calories
Great workout and as a beginner I followed along a lot of the time. Just one comment that I feel could improve; being outdoors the audio is not sharp and clear and following the instruction is hard. To put it in context, not all of your viewers have optimal hearing, even very small deficits can affect the workout experience. Add the music (which is louder than your voice) and it becomes an added distraction to the instructions. I hope you will consider this in future videos and produce a few more beginner session for those of us who enjoy stem aerobics .
Thanks Dina! Yes, I absolutely love getting feedback. This is the same exact sound system I use inside, I just must have had the levels a little off, so I apologize. It really has nothing to do with being outside. Audio is not an easy thing to work with. It has been my nemesis since I started LOL! Also, if this one is not for you because of the sound, there are over 50 other basics you could choose from that may sound better.
