the vengeful one, inside the fire, stupify, stricken, 10000 fists, perfect insanity, open your eyes, the light, are you ready, hey you, bad man, land of confusion, asylum, the animal, the night, another way to die, voices, the game, fear, prayer, liberate
Disturbed has some amazing songs....Prayer, Criminal and their cover of Sound of Silence. Also, Godsmack is def a band you will love.....Straight Out of Line, Crying Like a B%tch, Under Your Scars and 1000 HP are just a few of many.
8:00 This is the radio edit. There's actually a huge bridge part you're missing there. It goes pretty wild, and hard. But I guess they thought it was a bit much.
"Liberate" by them is great, along similar lines. "The sound of silence" by them is one of the best cover songs ever made and displays further David's vocal prowess. Enjoying your reactions.
Basically Disturbed's entire first 3 albums are 🔥 all the way through. Seriously I think their first album (the sickness) is with a full album listen. I feel after the 3rd the sound doesn't change much excluding a couple covers, such as Sound of Silence. They're definitely in the era and general family of Korn, less so Metallica but they're still in the over arching umbrella of Metal together.
Has anyone recommended listening to Rob Zombie yet? With your penchant for horror you’d probably love him. Try listening to “Dragula” and “Living Dead Girl”. ❤❤Absolutely love your reactions, Mia!!❤❤
I loved this song so much when it came out! I remember working as a cook and I put this song on repeat for like 2 hours my coworkers were begging me to stop lol,and I can even play it on the guitar.other good songs by them are the game, stricken and voices
Ouuu you’ve finally come across my favorite band! Here’s what you should listen to: Indestructible Stupify Remember Inside the fire Stricken Prayer Decadence Averice The animal Are you ready A reason to fight I’m Alive Sound of silence Just to name a few 😉
they are so big... about the band - Stupify, Voices, Land Of Confusion, The Night, Violence Fetish, The Game, 10 000 Fists, Liberate... they are so much great songs of them...
I recently introduced my female lead singer to metal and the first thing she said about metalcore, nu-metal, and similar modern metal music, that it was very "visceral and sensual" at the same time. the tension is both violent and yet intimate.
Search YT for the song title and u’ll find an unedited version which has 74M+ views (not a typo). Its been up for 14 yrs. When u listen to the unedited version, u’ll hear the spoken part which leads me to believe was the motivation for the lyrics.
When Disturbed first came on scene back in 99 or 2000 they were a ground breaking band. David’s vocals are some of the best in the business and his range is insane. I actually have a disturbed tatt too! Absolutely belongs with bands in the realm of Metallica and Korn. My all time 3 favorite bands are Metallica, Disturbed, and The Warning. You should definitely check out The Warning. They have hit me like Disturbed did back in the day. You will absolutely fall in love with that power trio of sisters. And they are all in the low 20’s with the sky as the limit!
Oh, man. When I first started the video, something started happening to my heart, because I thought you were doing the original version. Your reaction to that one would be...... interesting
Hey Mia. Another great review. Thanks for putting these out. Disturbed is out of Chicago. Their rendition of Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel is outstanding too. David Draiman is a great vocalist.
Disturbed's biggest song is "The Sound of Silence" which is a ballad, a slow song. It's a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's hit from the 1960s. David Draiman's vocals in Disturbed's version are very powerful and every UA-cam music Reactor has reacted to it and it seems to be among their 'most watched'. Disturbed has a long list of great music for you to choose from. "Ten Thousand Fists", "Inside the Fire", "Animal" or "Stupify" would be good ones to check out next if you're looking for faster, more upbeat songs like "Down With the Sickness" to react to next.
Just tossing out the suggestion “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” but the version that was covered at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Featuring Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne, and Prince. Wonderful tribute to George Harrison.
First date with my (now) wife was a Disturbed concert back in 2001. She invited me because she had broken up with the douche that she was with. First kiss was straight out of a mosh pit that night. 🤘 Feed Love! Starve hate.
The first time I heard disturbed, it was the song stupefy and I used to like it bc there's a line in the song where he says, "For all the gente in the barrio." I think one of the other bands which was really popular at the time was a band called Godsmack. They had a song called Whatever, and a song called Voodoo (check out Voodoo). Nice reaction.
The 1st Disturbed album was EPIC. I can still listen that album in it's entirety. Korn and Disturbed were considered Nu Metal. Metallica is considered Thrash Metal
Disturbed has done a couple of awesome cover tunes, one was Supernaut originally by Black Sabbath, and also The sound of silence originally by Simon and Garfunkel
I'm with the Prince fans now. One or two since they've been waiting for it. "Raspberry Berret", "Purple Rain" or "The Prettiest Girl In The World" written for Mia of course. Lol ❤
You gotta peep the og. Right after the guitar solo is a nasty little piece about his mom which is what this track is about. When you hear "no mommy" you'll know
This whole CD was one of my favorites when it was released. I lived on a mountain and would have this blasting as I went way to fast driving to the bottom. Hope you find more stuff you like.
You can't go wrong with Disturbed! A lot of their songs are on my workout playlist. David Draiman is the lead singer, and you are correct, he has an amazing voice. He was training as a cantor, but he was a little too wild for the Jewish faith in his youth, and got kicked out of a few yeshivas. I think it worked out for him, though!
This reaction vid was quite entertaining to me seeing your extreme excitement over a Metal classic:) Yea heavy on the drums and David Draiman is an amazing vocalist. This another anthem of the early 2000's and considered one of their better singles and the song and energy slaps. The guitars are in dropped D which gives it that "hardcore" sound. Disturbed however is considered Heavy/Alternative Metal, Metallica is heavy metal but more Thrash Metal especially in their earlier years, Korn is considered 'Nu' Metal. If you do another Disturbed reaction vid (Which it seems you are lol) I would recommend 'The Light' with the classic Disturbed Metal sound but with a more 'inspired' or 'inspirational' message and meaning to it. Happy day and happy 'Disturbing' Mia🤘 🖤
Also, please forgive the “fact” that I tend to make a couple comments.. please.. I just had to mention, the way you LIGHT UP, as soon(3seconds in!) as you love what you hear!! You are just the greatest way to start my day!! So thank you! And Rock on Mia. You got this!!❤🎸🎸🥁🥁🪘🪘🖤
Excellent review of this classic Disturbed song. All of their songs are perfect! You’re one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen BTW!!! Keep up the great content
This song STILL gets my hyped after all of these years. Glad you loved it! Watching you is super fun, you are simply adorable. If you like this you would probably also like System of a Down. I would love to see you react to BYOB by System of a Down, it is absolutely a bop - watch the vid but also pull up the lyrics while you watch cause the message is deep.
I remember the first time I heard that "ooh ah ah ah ah." I was not prepared lol. You got done dirty on this one though, because the single version of this song cuts out an entire section that gets dark. This band's first album was intense as it showcased all the elements of nu-metal that incorporated parts of hip hop and a heavy dosing of industrial. Stupify and Voices are also highly suggested from their first album.
I’d love to see you react to some avenged sevenfold. I’m thinking nightmare or hail to the king would be a good place to start. Maybe nightmare since it’s October
I love your reactions and videos, thanks !
thank you so much babe, you are amazing
@@MiaintheMoment your welcome babe
STUPIFY is another great Disturbed song.
Damn straight !

You need the UNCENSORED version!!!
she’s not ready for that
It's better without the domestic abuse solo.
@@lordtrigon1733 lol, agree
Uncensored version is definitely better.
@@dwaynediamond6431 No its not. He loses control in the uncensored. He sounds like a bitch. Badasses always keep their grip.
The slow turn of mia becoming a metal head is over....
Welcome aboard 🤘🏽
Also, Disturbed, one of the BEST live shows you can ever see
100% agree
Pantera - Cemetery Gates (full 7 min version)
the vengeful one, inside the fire, stupify, stricken, 10000 fists, perfect insanity, open your eyes, the light, are you ready, hey you, bad man, land of confusion, asylum, the animal, the night, another way to die, voices, the game, fear, prayer, liberate
100%!!!
It's imposible to not absolutely love Disturbed. One of my favorite bands out there!
I've seen disturbed in concert twice those drums hit the soul different when they are live
Yea, I'm sure the pit proved that!.
@MR-MR-ud5oo for sure
You NEED to listen and react to "Stupify" and " Sound of Silence" by these guys for sure! You'll love them!!
Even I knew it before: Since 2004 I always associate this song now with "Dawn of the Dead".
Disturbed has some amazing songs....Prayer, Criminal and their cover of Sound of Silence. Also, Godsmack is def a band you will love.....Straight Out of Line, Crying Like a B%tch, Under Your Scars and 1000 HP are just a few of many.
Yeah, she's gonna love Godsmack, 100%.
I saw Disturbed open for Korn back in 2002 when I was 14. They were AMAZING live.
As someone mentioned earlier, Disturbed is excellent in concert. Also, you have to listen to the uncensored version.
Korn limpbizkit disturbed Slipknot mushroom head are NU METAL
Prayer by disturbed is my favorite I think it might be your new favorite too!!!
I've seen them in concert 3 times. They get better each show.
Hot girls and metal music go well together. Glad you liked Disturbed they were one of my favorite bands as a kid.
Liberate is an excellent choice
This is actually one of the most famous drum beats in the history of rock.
"No. Mommy! Don't do it again!! Don't do it again!! I'll be a good boy!"
I love their version of "Sound of silence"
love your reactions
this is a certified banger
youre getting closer to Tool
Disturbed is doing a 25th anniversary tour of this album. Tickets went on sale a week ago.

I died.
It's ok, you can be "Queen" and still come reach your inner beast here.
Thats what it was made for.
Inside the fire, stupify, and the sound of silence are great songs
David Draiman is arguably the best heavy metal vocalist, the strange thing about him is he’s a classical trained singer.
Not classicly trained. Trained as a cantor. He says it in interviews all the time.
Legion Of Monsters, Inside The Fire, Decadence, Warrior. the best from Disturbed
Has anyone recommended listening to Rob Zombie yet? With your penchant for horror you’d probably love him. Try listening to “Dragula” and “Living Dead Girl”.
❤❤Absolutely love your reactions, Mia!!❤❤
It's impossible NOT to love David Draiman ❤️

Seen them twice in concert 😊they are also touring in 2025 🎉you should see them live 🎉
You can't miss The Sound of Silence by them
If you do, please do the Live on Conan one. I think it's sooooo much better than the music video. Just my opinion 🤘

David the lead singer of Distrubed is classically trained as both a Opera singer and Also in Jewish religious music and singing.

Disturbed's biggest song is "The Sound of Silence" which is a ballad, a slow song. It's a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's hit from the 1960s. Mia, love your heartfelt reactions. This song and "Are You Ready?" are my favorites. I really like their cover of "The Sound of Silence" also.
Stricken and Stupify is a must!!

Love the reaction, same as many when first time up. Disturbed will take you down a rabbit hole. Check out "Sound of silence". Stay safe.🤟
