it´s a shame that the frontman Dave Williams died 22 years ago!! because he was starting his career !!!! that first album was one of the best albums of Drowning Pool, you must try that song at the gym 😎
@@kennethbartlett4302 She tried Manson before. It was Sweet Dreams which is not a great starter to me. Lol. Rob Zombie may be too much but let's go for it. 😂
Drowning Pool debuted in 2001 w/ the album 'Sinner'... so they shared a similar 'feel' to bands of that era like Slipknot... as well as bands like Disturbed... Mudvayne ... Soil ... Chimaira ... Drain STH ... ill Nino ... Kittie ... etc.
I'm from Dallas & was lucky to see them a few times before they blew up in 2001. I saw them for the last time with Dave, New Year's going into 2002 with Sevendust & a no name band called Gasoline. When Gasoline came out to perform everyone was shocked. It was Dime, Vinnie & Rex from Pantera & those guys absolutely killed it!
Breaking Benjamin. Can't go wrong with basically any song of theirs but most people start with So Cold, Diary of Jane, or I Will Not Break. They are honestly the kind of band that you can listen through albums in full without skipping a song.
This was my jam! Bodies went hard in the mosh pit and goes hard in the gym. 😂 They don't really have that many hits. The lead singer died early and they were never the same.
This song was used a lot in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) ads. Please react to ‘Dig’ by Mudvayne. This group was similar to Slipknot in that they wore face and body paint to compliment their amazing metal music.

Drowning Pool “37 Stitches” is really good as well as the acoustic version. Some other bands you might like are Green Day, Oasis, Blink 182, Godsmack, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, No Doubt, Soundgarden, Bush, Shinedown (my favorite modern band, I’ve seen them 5 times live) or Limp Bizkit
One of the best shows I ever went to. Original singer, "All ages" show sponsored by jaeger and the host was a small person smoking a blunt and chugging jaeger on stage. Check out damage plan, similar to this but was the band dimebag was in when he was killed.
You should try Static X - Stringwray, Push It or The Only, you will se a crazier hair. On another hand, you should try Faith no More - Epic or Falling to pieces. Also Avatar - The Eagle Has Landed. I just mentioned the songs, but the band in general are incredible talented people.
Loving the trip down the 2000s metal track, a lot of these bands are where I started my love for metal as well. I'm sure you'll eventually get to some of the more well known bands most reactors do like Tool but for now it's fun to see some of these the don't always get a lot of love. A couple I think you'll really enjoy from this general era would be Nonpoint - Bullet With a Name and Sevendust - Bitch. Both of these bands have been putting out solid music for 10+ years and don't get the love they should. Another band I feel you'd definitely enjoy would be Northlane. One of my favorite tracks from them right now is Obsidian. More along the lines of your request for some modern-day Heavy Hitters I'd recommend Spiritbox - Rule of Nines. This one is actually fun to watch with their live take ua-cam.com/video/vVDXTFeGYwc/v-deo.htmlsi=AHfNlqjq6Asra5lx Tetrarch - Freak, saw them open up for In This Moment I believe and they were great live. DeD - Anti Everything (has some metal-rap elements) or Dead to Me (more straight forward metal). Learnd about them when they opened for Korn and killed it. I could go on forever, but I hope you'll have the opportunity to hear all of these at some point!
I jus recently saw Drowning Pool in concert with Saliva they killed it the last song DP did was Bodies they had the whole place rocking for future songs from them u can check out 37 Stitches Shame Paralyzed another awesome band to check out is BFMV Bullet For My Valentine theyre Fn amazing!!! Scream Aim Fire Your Betrayal The Last Fight are jus some of their bangers you look absolutely gorgeous Mia drop dead sexy 😍😍😍
'Tear Away' is their undisputed masterpiece of a song whilst this one is their stupidly catchy song. I'm curious to see where the nu-metal rabbit hole keeps on taking you.
If you really like this, Godsmack - Crying Like a Bitch will be right up your alley. Anything Godsmack, but... you'll find your path or maybe a rabbit-hole. Feed Love! Starve hate. 🤘

While I have no doubt she'll like the music, based on her reaction to Marilyn Manson, I don't think she'll like the horror vibe Rob Zombie has, but who knows?
This is going to sound a little crazy, but I remember this as a song in basic training they played a lot to help pump up the recruits to get ready to go to war when I joined the Army back in 2005. I remember them playing a video of things going on in Iraq and Afghanistan to this playing in the background, trying to pump everyone up to go overseas and fight.
Every 1 and their phuckin' mothers used to cover this song, and yeaaa I saw ur reaction to the first vocal, surprising if you don't know it's coming! But yea this was more of an anthem of the day in many regards...sorry tho, the guitarist is NOTHING like Kirk Hammett from Metallica haha...Anywho if you like heavier bands how about one with a female screamo vocalist ( Allisa White-Gluz is a freakin' BEAST who sings growls and clean vocals)...ANY ARCH ENEMY SONG will do...They are definitely more technical, my style musically more so than drowning pool...they span many decades with another lead singer Angela Glasgow that was before her. Their newest single 'Liars and Thieves' just came out about 9 days ago, altho not my favorite song by them still a banger (There's your new metal you asked for) React to them and welcome to the World of Melodic Death Metal Mia. 🖤🖤🖤

Right. They didn't really hit the same after that.
I firmly believe drowning pool would’ve gone farther and been bigger if he was still alive
Godsmack is very drum heavy band also.. Especially their songs" Voo Doo "and" I stand alone"
Similar bands: Mudvayne "Dig", Nonpoint - "What A Day". Static-X - "Push It" ❤
Yes!! Do these.
I was here to actually say Mudvayne and Static-X. Also maybe Rob Zombie, Saliva, Ill Nino and M. Manson.
If "Psychosocial" was too much for her, she's not ready for "Dig" yet.

Mudvayne another good band. “World So Cold” is a great song. And Incubus is a very good band too. “Pardon Me” or “Drive” are two of their big songs.
Bodies. How ironic 🔥
I'm so thankful I saw this band live in 2001. RIP singer Dave Williams.
This original singer passed away, and they have a replacement that sang the song from the 2ND "MARVEL, PUNISHER" movie, "STEP UP" great song too
